Such early risers in this thread!

Sorry for so many shitty BFN but it's not over til it's over!

wow! so much to catch up. will have to scroll back to read us all the latest.

I'm 10 dpo (I think) and absolutely no symptoms. nothing! no CM, no cramping etc. no sure if this is good or bad.

I've posted a question over on the pregnancy board if anyone feels like giving me any advice.

BowiesJumper · 10/02/2015 09:35

I had a faint like on my opk this morning! I know that's a negative but at least it's picking up something right? Before there was nada. So I'm going to blindly beeline that it's the lh slowing building up and I'll get a peak in a day or two Grin

Sorry to the bfns and af's. x

BowiesJumper · 10/02/2015 09:41

Oh god. Autocorrect. Faint LINE and believe not beeline. Sigh. Shouldn't post on the tube.

MissMrsMummy · 10/02/2015 09:54

That's good bowies hope the line continues to get stronger and you get a +ve in a couple of days

MaMaPo · 10/02/2015 10:06

Purdey, I used to have the worst bounce and rhyme 'teacher' at my local library. I don't know where he was from, but the combination of his accent, his complete tone-deafness and my unfamiliarity with some of the songs meant I had to look them up on YouTube to work out both the lyrics and the melody.

My favourite one (sing to yourself in completely ambling, tuneless way).
See the bunnies sleeping, teel it's nearly noon.
Shall we wake them, with a merry tooooon?
Dey so steeeeeeel!
Are dey [dramatic pause] eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel?

I was completely flummoxed.

/tangent

PurdeyBirdie · 10/02/2015 10:06

Autumn, I've commented on your thread but apologies if it's not exactly helpful. I do understand why you have worries about this, but please don't let the (quite rational) anxieties of parents sway your decision to give your DC a sibling. Our parents will fret about our choices and decisions for the rest of their lives. When do you put them second and your desires and needs first? Now Smile

PurdeyBirdie · 10/02/2015 10:08

MaMa, I am laughing but in a kind of 'Whaaaa...t?!' way. Please, please translate that gibberish Confused

spinningirl10 · 10/02/2015 10:10

Missmrs, I hope the relaxed approach works for you this month.
I think my temps are odd, not as high as normal.

Purdey, yay for your Mum buying you lots of supplements.

Autumn2014 · 10/02/2015 10:12

MaMaPo
I know that one from groups! I am also tone deaf and liable to start the song in the wrong pitch so that when you get to the climax of the song my voice is just a squeak!!!

PB- thanks so much for your wise words. it's hard not to overthink things when you are TTC.

spinningirl10 · 10/02/2015 10:13

Haha Mama, sounds like an interesting classGrin

MissMrsMummy · 10/02/2015 10:16

I can translate!

See the bunnies sleeping, til it's nearly noon.
Shall we wake them with a merry tune?
They're so still!
Are they.....ill?

Weird, though.

MissMrsMummy · 10/02/2015 10:17

Thanks spinning me too. I keep looking for projects to do to distract me!

mummyofonesofar · 10/02/2015 10:19

Boris/Conception/whoeveryouare I have been trying to keep an eye a finger on my cervix but doesn't seem to get very high at all!

I moved jobs last year, we were going to start trying but maternity was SMP and I hated the job so put it on hold until I got a new job and an now entitled to better package. Cycle 1 now but feel like we have been waiting and thinking baby mad thoughts for a year now.

MaMaPo · 10/02/2015 10:23

Purdey - no-one translated for me! Your 'whaaa' response is exactly what I experienced mid-group, with the added difficulty of having to be polite (and also wrangle a hungry baby who always wanted feeding mid-group).

(It's this song here - www.nurseryrhymes.org/sleeping-bunnies.html)

There was also Waaaaind dee bobbinup. WTF.

mummyofonesofar · 10/02/2015 10:27

Wind the bobbin up. Loved that with my DS. but it is the flattest song known to man (or was in our group!). I didn't think too much of baby bounce. Made worse by mums talking about biting their toddlers back Confused and snobby mums looking down on me for having a Son so young without getting to know me. Made a good friend and swapped baby bounce for tea and cake in a cafe Grin

victoria401 · 10/02/2015 10:29

Spotting turned brown now and half filling a panty liner already. Not putting in tampax so I can keep an eye on it.... Mild cramps...

Sorry for not aknowleding your crap morning cariad Flowers

banana I'm with you on the early cycle confusion this month. I think Feb is just weird....

Anyone know what happened to my fellow crap sperm sufferer wishing? Did af arrive?

MaMaPo · 10/02/2015 10:39

Mummyofone, I'd never heard of it before, and let's face it, it's pretty baffling anyway.

mummyofonesofar · 10/02/2015 10:44

MaMaPo they are all pretty baffling! Plus you have to do the actions for your bored uninterested baby who just wants to crawl away and see shiny stuff.

PaddingtonFromPeru · 10/02/2015 10:51

Gosh, you all move fast. Another one ewcm obsessed here. Having had nada for months, I started taking conception pills this month to aid things along and bingo, I am swimming in ewcm. Having DTD on cd13 and 14, I am now trying to desperately convince myself that the presence of lots of sticky stuff means we have actually been successful. Certainly hope so. Anyone with any words of hope/experience?

spinningirl10 · 10/02/2015 10:55

Oh victoria, that's crap. Hope the brown stuff stops soon.
Not seen wishing since her bfn, hope she's ok.

Hairstylisttoboris · 10/02/2015 10:56

mummyofone sorry for the name change issues. Your cervix doesn't go to far, maybe yours doesn't move far enoug to detect? The first thing I noticed about mine was a change in feel spongy to hard from the days each side of ovulation. Then I realised that it also moved up and down a bit. Maybe I just spend too much time in the loo with my fingers in my fanny?

mummyofonesofar · 10/02/2015 11:05

Mine is definitely spongy. And more open than last week. More ewcm today and a temp dip so going to DTD tonight. So if I ov today we would have DTD 4/5 days in our window Smile swimming in spermz.

Hairstylisttoboris · 10/02/2015 11:11

Oh I can never work out if mine is open or not. Well done for managing to get yourself swimming in sperm!

loopylou1984 · 10/02/2015 11:33

I know the bunny song from my days as a nanny!
'Hop little bunnies, hop hop hop' Smile
