Yay to raggy and excited!
Nomio, I'm with you... IF I did ov and IF CBFM didn't pick up as first cycle/still bf'ing and IF I had fallen pregnant, might be picked up if I peed on a stick soon.... I'm gonna do it next couple of days. Then I could put myself out of misery this cycle and prepare for next one....

BowiesJumper · 13/02/2015 14:25

mummy mine is nothing compared to quietly's! Blimmin impressive!

To be honest, it's only our first full month of trying (we only had time for a couple of shags at the right time last month) so we've not reached the fatigue yet. But I'm sure we'll both be glad of a bit of a rest in a few days! Ha.

spinningirl10 · 13/02/2015 14:26

Sparkly, here's the recipe I follow, quite often add some orange rind as well and a little juice.

  • 1 cup of desiccated coconut
  • 1 cup of almonds
  • 1/2 a dozen medjool dates
  • 4 tablespoons of cashew butter
  • 2 tablespoons of raw cacao
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil

Start by putting the almonds and coconut in a food processor and blend for a minute or two, until a flour starts to form. Then add the cashew butter, coconut oil and cacao blending for a few seconds before slowly adding in the dates.

Continue to blend until everything has been combined together to form a sticky mixture. This mixture can then be rolled into balls and covered in more coconut and left in the fridge to firm up for an hour or alternately you can enjoy it with a spoon straight from a cup, or be like me and eat it straight from the blender! Either way you’ll love it! If you can resist not eating the whole mixture then keep the remaining bites in the fridge in a container.

Hello ladies, I've been a sporadic poster on the last couple of buses but have only just about been able to keep up with lurking on this one as DD has been poorly. Just wanted to pop in and say huge congrats to raggy and excited for their BFPs and commiserations to those who've been got by AF.

I'm currently 13dpo with AF due on Sunday. Have been so stressed for the last week that I haven't been able to think too much about the 2ww until today. Have had a lot of clear cm for the past couple of days and a strong metallic taste in my mouth at times - yesterday I thought I'd bitten my lip cos I could taste blood. Could be positive signs but am trying not to get my hopes up. Going to hold out a few more days to POAS but will prob get AF before then.

Good luck and fx to everyone else waiting for their bfps.

CoffeeTwo · 13/02/2015 14:46

Sparkly my cycles are on average 35 days. Always have been a bit on the long side. I tend to ovulate between CD 21 and 23 which makes the first 3 weeks drag on foreverrrr. Thanks for the advice lovely.

spinningirl10 · 13/02/2015 14:48

Excited, that's definitely a line! Congratulations you're pregnantGrin

Bowie, yay for dtd last night and for the new thermometer.

spinningirl10 · 13/02/2015 14:49

Ooh Sparkly, are you 10dpo tomorrow, will you poas?

CoffeeTwo · 13/02/2015 14:50

Raggy I totally missed your post! Congratulations!

purdeybirdie · 13/02/2015 15:05

Aww quietly you are very welcome.

Gorgeous-looking treats spinning!

Here's my recipe for Twirls:

  • Go to th'Asda
  • Buy a multipack of Twirls
  • Shove in gob
MarysPrayer · 13/02/2015 15:21

Purdey, that's uncannily like my recipe for MarsBars. Grin I'm also hoping that sugar isn't detrimental to ttc/baby development. I'm determined to cut down though, if I do get a bfp, in the hope that I won't have such a massive baby again.

Congrats to Quiety and Raggy.

Purdey you look younger than you are. Dh got ID'd today, trying to buy wine Envy He's 35 (yes he's my toy boy Blush )

As you can see , I've nothing constructive to add to the thread really. Too early in the tww for symptom spotting, although that doesn't seem to be stopping me.

BowiesJumper · 13/02/2015 15:22

I got ID'd the other day in tesco! WAHEY!

MarysPrayer · 13/02/2015 15:26

Yay Bowie! It's such a compliment these days as well, as it means they think you're about 21, not 17.

spinningirl10 · 13/02/2015 15:26

Loving the twirl recipe Grin

Congratulations Raggy, sorry I missed youSmile

victoria401 · 13/02/2015 15:35

Not been id'd for about 2 years, boo.... Must dye greys....

Congrats to the new bfps!

I've noticed a few short cycles this month. Anything to do with it being a short month do you think?! Something to do with the moon?!

Must remember I'm only cd26, plenty of days left for af to turn up. No idea when I would be 'late' though as don't know when ov was....

purdeybirdie · 13/02/2015 15:37

Nomio, why do you think you haven't ov'd, darling? I've been looking at your chart and you most certainly did and are now 5dpo Smile

mummyofonesofar · 13/02/2015 15:43

Oops I meant quietly's dtdathon!

My new thermometer is here Grin let's just hope I sleep long enough to accurately chart them next time round. Been to DSs school To watch them all sing. Was beautiful! And interim report home. Working above his age expected level in his vocabulary Grin. Not baby talking him has worked! Though I did look like a nutter trying to have grown up conversations with a 10 month old Hmm

CookieDough9 · 13/02/2015 15:56

victoria I really think you are on to something there! I got up this morning and realised it was Friday the 13th and told myself it's all bollocks and nothing could go wrong, well AF decided to come along a few hours later, the witch!!!

BowiesJumper · 13/02/2015 16:21

Haha, I was wondering mummy! That makes me tired just looking at it.

There's a lot of beeping from the pink thermometer of dreams isn't there... My husband will love that! Ha!

Nomio230 · 13/02/2015 16:25

Do you think so, Purdey? I haven't had any pains & I didn't get a positive opk, so just thought that I hadn't this month.

Serious question, Purds, have you ever thought about training as a Dr or nurse? I think you would be amazing, especially as a fertility specialist. You probably know more than most of them anyway & unlike most doctors, you actually care about people. Sorry if that sounds a bit sucky uppy, but I think if I had been seen by someone like you I would be pg by now!

Mummy, that is really good news, you must feel so proud.

mustbemad71 · 13/02/2015 16:54

What have I missed? 3 BFPs?! Congrats to all!

Juney any significant your spunk pet?

mustbemad71 · 13/02/2015 16:55

June's damn auto correct! That should be any sign of your spunk pet!

victoria401 · 13/02/2015 17:00

Argh so much cm! Feel constantly damp in the gusset! It has taken on a bit of colour now though, booo

Nomio230 · 13/02/2015 17:15

The pervy old men will love your last post, Vic!

juneybean · 13/02/2015 17:27
Grin

Dhl are ringing me at 8am to tell me where my sperm is....hopefully at Gateshead depot so I can pick it up. Don't trust it going on the van.

Bowies 19 beeps! Very annoying. Plus instructions say to listen to beeps, wait 5 secs then read result. Weird Confused
