Sammy, if they've already done some tests then I would ask at that source. Or phone the fertility clinic/department that you will be using and ask them. Probably a waste of time asking doc unless yours is very good.
When I was waiting for my results I didn't have a number so phones the hospital and asked to be put through to fertility.

Mustbemad, sorry I can't help with your query, but you really do have my sympathy with the flagging DH. Your post was partly comical but there is a serious side to this TTC malarkey when the journey gets longer and longer and longer. I wasn't exaggerating when I said it had ruined mine and DH's sex life. Our love life is wonderful, but there are irreparable damages to his ego and both of our libidos. It's a a good job we are still intimate and are happy to do other stuff lots of the time. I simply cannot remember the last time that penetrative sex was fun, spontaneous, sexy and free from the baggage of past bfn's, mc's and erectile stage fright.

Miss. I only ever see ewcm on the bog paper after wiping from a wee or when I've had a poo and there's a string of stretchy snot hanging from my vagina. If there is ewcm on the paper and/or hanging out of us, imagine how much more is up there lining the cervix

P.s..I only see ewcm for one day in my fertile window and it can be one, two, three or four days before I actually ov. No matter, though, it probably remains up there for days but doesn't always appear on the paper.

I get the same as purdey string of the stuff on wiping. Looks like the glue that your new credit cards get stuck to the paper with. I only get it 2 days ish, and after getting really watery stuff. That's when we start dtd, when the damp watery stuff starts. And i get lots of infertile flaky stuff. Yuck.

Ok thanks for the ewcm tips. I just checked 'high up' and only had milky white stuff (LOADS - it was all dribbly! Sorry!). But I am not due to ov for a couple of days (and more prob due to bad cold) hmm maybe I should start necking my chesty cough mixture.

My sperm is still in Poland and has seemingly spent the day there. I'm hopeful it will come tomorrow but probably afternoon when I'm at work!

I've rang twice, the first call sounded promising that it would be sent through quickly but secondncall the woman said that an urgent call had been out through but it can take 24-48 hours to be picked up?! I asked about picking it up at the Gateshead depot in the morning but she couldn't be sure it'd be in Gateshead in the morning. Wtf get it on the bloody plane!

I'm thinking ovulation will be Sunday so plenty of time yet it might work in my favour since you have to return the nitrogen either 6 days of receipt so would have had to return Monday which seemed to be cutting it fine.

But now my stress is going up I'm worried egg is gonna run away!

why would ewcm only be present days before ov? I thought it's job was to give the sperm a leg up to the egg. if it disappears and turns watery before ov then how is that helping?

I think I've been misunderstanding this TTC lark and missed my egg :(

mustbemad I used the CB Dual hormone test this month. The flashing smiley indicates a surge in estrogen, which happens before the LH surge. This can occur anywhere between 2 and usually 5-6 days before the LH surge. It is more common to have two days of flashing followed by the peak smiley, but I think I had 5 flashers before I got the static one. The static smiley indicates your LH surge and once it appears, it stays on for 2 solid days and then disappears. The idea is that you get to know your 'high' fertility time and your 'peak' fertility time. We dtd once every other day during the flashing smiley time and then every day for three days when I got the peak. Hope this helps :)
