A friendly and welcoming thread full of lovely women.

I'm not sure yet trixie, I'm going out early October for my next cycle and then possibly one more so it will be after I have finished all the cycles but before I begin transfers I think. Unless I can squeeze it in between cycles but they will do a scratch as well and they say that's best the cycle before transfer so will have to have a think and see when I can fit it all in. Hope you are ok and all going well with meds etc.

Sounds like a good plan Lucie.
Yep, all is good here. Feel much more laid back this time, keep nearly forgetting to take my tablets/do my evening injection. Back in for a scan on Monday to check my lining and then transfer is the following Monday. We've booked a hotel for a few days by the sea after transfer which I am really looking forward to Smile

How did your GP appointment go Betty?

lucieloos · 18/09/2015 12:01

Oh wow that sounds like a lovely idea trixie to get away for a few days after transfer! Really hope it goes well for you this time.

loopylou1984 · 19/09/2015 13:12

Hi girls, sorry I haven't been around. I thought the site was down again as it won't load on my phone...not sure why.

How are you all doing?

I had my meds delivered on Wednesday, so I'm ready to go when AF rocks up. Currently 12dpo. Xx

BettyFlower78 · 19/09/2015 19:40

Hello Trixie I've been booked in for blood test etc so hopefully find out a bit more about whats going on soon :/
Hope everything is going well for you :)

Trixielilac11 · 20/09/2015 15:20

That's good Betty!

Thanks Lucie, I really hope it does.

Hi Sammy! Good to see you Smile any sign of AF?

I have my final scan in the morning and then one week until transfer. My neighbour has just had a baby, we live in a new build and the sound insulation sucks.....going through fertility treatment and having sleep disrupted by someone elses baby is not fun Sad

Trixielilac11 · 21/09/2015 10:46

Me again, just had my scan and good to go for next Monday. Have had my clexane dose increased from 20mg to 40mg which is going to mean double injections in the evening. I remember getting bad bruising from this one before so it's not going to be pretty. Also have to go back in on Friday for a blood test to check my progesterone levels, something my clinic are now starting to do before transfer.

TheTravellingLemon · 21/09/2015 10:52

Good luck for Monday Trixie. I always think of the lovely ladies on this thread and I often pop back to see how you are getting on even though I don't always post.

Trixielilac11 · 23/09/2015 13:18

Thanks Lemon, lovely to hear from you, I often wonder how all the ladies with their BFPs are getting on. How far along are you now?

Any news Sammy?

TheTravellingLemon · 23/09/2015 13:51

I good thanks, 33 weeks and all going well so farSmile.

Sending lots of love and luck to everyone on this thread. I hope you get your bfps soon ladies.

lucieloos · 24/09/2015 18:20

Good luck for Monday trixie will be thinking of you!

Trixielilac11 · 25/09/2015 11:02

Wow Lemon, not long for you now!

Thanks Lucie, have a nice relaxing weekend planned and looking forward to being PUPO Smile

loopylou1984 · 26/09/2015 07:28

Hi all! Sorry I've been so rubbish, busy work and my dad combined with no app meant I just didn't get chance to get on here.

Eek Trixie, Monday! So exciting!

Off for my baseline this morning so will update after. Xx

lucieloos · 26/09/2015 09:44

Yay the app is back this is so much easier! I love the new style of it as well. Good luck with the scan Sammy. I have had some pink when wiping so I think af may start today so stimms tomorrow! Here we go again!

loopylou1984 · 26/09/2015 11:25

Good luck Lucie, keeping everything crossed for you. Did I read on the other thread you're hoping for three embies?

So scan was this morning, I'm starting tablets today and suprecur tonight. The nurse is a little bit worried as she's seen something that could be a polyp - if it is then we won't be able to go ahead. By the end of the scan though she said she was almost 100% sure it was just a bit of blood as it didn't have the normal characteristics of a polyp, so fx.

Trixie - how are you lovely? Xx

lucieloos · 26/09/2015 11:29

That's great news Sammy, hope everything goes smoothly! Yes we would love to be able to get 3 frozen this time and if we did we would do our first transfer in November rather than January which I really, really want but on both previous cycles we have only managed 2 so I'm not sure how achievable it is and we may have to wait a bit longer.

loopylou1984 · 26/09/2015 12:06

Well I'm keeping everything crossed for three. Are you doing the high protein diet or anything this time? Or just taking the relaxed approach?

The nurse just called and said she looked at the image on the new software they have and is even more convinced it's not a polyp. So with a bit of luck it will be ok. Xx

lucieloos · 26/09/2015 14:53

That sounds great Sammy, can't be anything to worry about. Will you be taking estrogen and buserelin?

I will try and do high protein when I start stimms as best I can although it is quite difficult. Last time I had a protein shake for breakfast and one in the evening and tried to have something like chicken and quinoa for lunch and maybe an omelette for dinner. I try my best although there are days when I can't keep it up and I know ideally I should have started a month or so ago but I kind of need a bit of normality inbetween.

loopylou1984 · 26/09/2015 21:39

Yeah estrogen pills and suprecur injections. Just about to do the first jab.
I struggle with the protein too, I wish I liked omelette as it would make it a lot easier! Xx

Trixielilac11 · 27/09/2015 13:34

Hi ladies, all good here. I had to go to my clinic on Friday morning for a blood test as they have started checking progesterone levels prior to transfer. Was fully expecting all to be fine but they got in touch Friday pm to say that my levels aren't as high as they would like to see so had to pop in yesterday to collect some more meds (which weren't cheap!)....as well as cyclogest I now have to do an injection in the morning, I'm not complaining though if it is going to help.

Glad to hear things are getting moving with your cycles. I'm ok with the protein but I do struggle to stay away from the junk food... and I had quite a bit of wine last weekend, trying not to beat myself up about it. I figure we need treats! Chickpeas are good for protein if you like houmous (I love it), or lentils in soup/casseroles this time of the year.

Transfer is tomorrow pm- eek! May not check in much this week as we are going to be away for a few days after transfer.

loopylou1984 · 27/09/2015 20:13

Good luck Trixie - could that be a reason why it didn't work last time I wonder? Xx

Trixielilac11 · 27/09/2015 20:44

Thanks Sammy! There are so many things that are different this time, no OHSS symptoms, have had antibiotics, have higher dose of clexane and more progesterone Smile oh and we are using embryo glue too! Really hope it works this time.

loopylou1984 · 28/09/2015 08:59

My fingers are crossed for you :) - update us later?
We're using embryo glue too! Xx

Trixielilac11 · 28/09/2015 11:50

Will do Sammy. Just had a call from the clinic and the embryo they thawed has survived so we're off to a good start.
