2 of my friends did the clear blue trial but I'm not sure I fancy storing my wee in the fridge and posting it off! Grin

MrsG23 · 06/02/2015 16:50

Yes! Sparkly! I have this too... Had it since Monday though - on and off. Like a tugging, full feeling in my lower abdomen. I def ovulated last week due to my cm and the pain niggle I get around ovulation. Since Monday I've had the brown spotting on and off but never enough to wear anything and I've had none now for 36 hrs!
Convinced I've been due on all week... (TMI alert!) usually downstairs is super sore and swollen prior to AF but nothing.

nightandthelight · 06/02/2015 16:51

Oh lawks didn't realise it involved that coffee, will turn it down then if they do contact me.

BowiesJumper · 06/02/2015 16:51

Is that what you have to do? Haha, my husband will love that.

PurdeyBirdie · 06/02/2015 16:52

MrsG (and anyone else with endo), does it cause you to spot days before AF?

Sparkly, you're not missing owt by being in bed; February is dull, dull, DULL (and stop making me weep for you Sad)!

Am I too old at 43 for the CB trial?

Tessie, when I had IVF I wasn't told not to orgasm! The only thing I couldn't do was use a jacuzzi (threat of infection). The embryologist told me to imagine my uterus as a jam sandwich and the embryo as a tiny raspberry seed nestled in between the bread and stuck in the jam and butter. Nothing could shift that bastard; no amount of trampolining, lifting, running, squeezing-out of mammoth turds; nothing. I can't see an orgasm - no matter how tremulous - shifting an implanting embryo Smile

Waxing and hair dying is fine!

CoffeeTwo · 06/02/2015 16:54

Up to 45 Purdey as long as you don't mind a fridge full of wee Grin

MissMrsMummy · 06/02/2015 16:54

Got a spa day planned a few days before my BFp due date... What should I avoid? Risk of infection? Eek!

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 16:59

Purdey love the jam sandy analogy! Well they didn't ask me what age I was on the phone- only that I was over 18.. Which you are ... So may aswell try?! What's your thoughts on AI tonight given this cramping nonsense? Possible late late late OV so I should right? Oh and I'm missing the lovely sunshine out there!

Mmm MrsG this sounds interesting... What day is your AF due did I miss that?

Can't wait to store my pee In the fridge ShockConfusedBlush

MrsG23 · 06/02/2015 16:59

Purdey - never normally. I'm the sort of person that cramps and then within the hour, AF has arrived and is heavy and bright red.
Last cycle, AF arrived early hours of Monday morning and I spotted from the Saturday evening...

No where near as bad as 6 days of it like I'm having now!!

Storing your urine wouldn't be so bad as long it wasn't near the milk for my husbands tea, I don't think he'd mind ;) haha

PurdeyBirdie · 06/02/2015 17:01

I don't mind having a fridge full of wee. I might live dangerously and store it next to the apple juice Hmm

I can't believe some of you live with wracking AF pain. That is just too much. It can't be right. I absolutely would not live with endo and would get it treated via a lap as soon as you are well.

PurdeyBirdie · 06/02/2015 17:04

Sparkly, have you been continuing to use opks just in case your other positives were post-mc red herrings? I cannot explain these cramps you speak of; how flipping frustrating. Yes to AI...only if you are not in pain

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 17:11

Purdey I hear what you are saying BUT .... I have lived with this intense pain every month a good few years now. If it's treated it will return. AND the impact of having the surgery- however minor- would honestly set my health back months, possibly years (there's no way of knowing) .. It's taken 5 long years to get to where I am health wise now.. Where I can leave the house sometimes, walk to the bathroom myself etc etc so honestly.. I just could not take the risk for a huge relapse at this point and then TTC would also get pushed back a longggg way. Id rather try TTC now and see what happens.. And hope for the best. Doctors also said that often pregnancy and having a baby can change everything up and I may get better after.. (The possible endo I mean)
I know you are prob reading that thinking -whattt no way could such a minor surgery cause that!- believe me, it totally can.
Feel free to carry on trying to convince me. I'll debate this ALL DAY! Ha ha Grin oh and please don't feel sad for me ..I sometimes feel I shouldn't share this stuff as I def don't want to make you feel that but just trying to explain how it is for my mutant body! Ha ha. I am so much better than I was and I focus on that!! I realise you are also prob thinking - eh why is she trying to have a baby- the answer is... if not now, then when? Never is not an option!!! Wink

MrsG23 · 06/02/2015 17:12

I had a lap and laser therapy 18 months ago and didn't do too much for me, unfortunately. Last summer I was in constant pain and heavy bleeding for 8 weeks! I was so anaemic and worn out by the whole thing... In the last few months I've been hospitalised with the pain from ovulation - they thought I had an ectopic...
It's all ok though - I get used to the pain most days. But the ache in experiencing now is new to me which makes me think it is implantation and early pregnancy?

I wouldn't mind a fridge full of urine for some free tests! :)

victoria401 · 06/02/2015 17:13

What on earth do you tell the person in the post office!? You always have to tell them what's in your parcels....

Sparkly, it may be sunny out there but its face bitingly cold! We've been lucky with this winter I feel, plenty of nice days. I love the contrast between the bare branches and the blue sky and there has been plenty of robin song in the air Smile mindfulness technique/coping mechanism

MrsG23 · 06/02/2015 17:15

Sparkly - I talk as openly about it as I can.. Not for sympathy but to make woman aware of it :) it is so much more common than people think as woman are told, when they have these excruciating periods, that it's normal and to get on with it!!
And definitely - never is not an option. My fear is that if I don't do it sooner, I may start trying in 6/7 years time and it be too late! X

PurdeyBirdie · 06/02/2015 17:18

Sparkly, I would punch anyone in the face who tried to suggest someone else shouldn't have a baby due to ill health/finances/being single/lesbian. Remember that lady with no arms whose pregnant torso was sculpted and put on the Trafalgar Square plinth? Alison summat? Since clapping eyes on her - and watching a film of her coping with her baby (she also had only 'flippers' instead of legs, so could only shuffle. Her arms were also 'flippers') - I realised motherhood can be achieved by even the most disabled of us. Love can really conquer all Smile

I hereby declare I will never again rant about your endo. You know best, my love, and I do believe what you say about even minor surgery wrecking your health. I won't be sad about your bedridden-ness either - you are one of the most buoyant and optimistic people I have ever met Thanks

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 17:20

Purdey yep only faint lines on the OPK I def had my positives for sure the other day. Yes it's pretty confusing and it's constant now! Confused I think AI tonight.. One for the road! I wouldn't have it hadn't been for these cramps!

PurdeyBirdie · 06/02/2015 17:22

The inspirational Miss Lapper...

PurdeyBirdie · 06/02/2015 17:25

Um..apologies for describing her body incorrectly - she doesn't have any arms at all Blush

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 17:40

Purdey I'm gonna tell my dh you said I was buoyant ha ha. He gets the heavy end of it.. The bad days and the tears! I'm good at putting the smile on for everyone else! Grin
Love your declaration however I like a challenge so feel free to bring it up again whenever you see fit! Ha ha. You are so right about that lady Alison. So many people with chronic illness and disabilities have babies.. There's always a way!

Just had a quite bad cramp there and got up to the loo and had a load of creamy and wet cm?! Honest to god this is the most messed up cycle ever! Wtf is that!
No actually... WTF is it?! Confused

MrsG yep I hear you.. Better starting early if you can. Never ain't an option! Wink I know what you meant about constant pain.. You adapt. What's the alternative?! Sounds like you had a rough time with it all. I find a lot of health professionals don't know what to do with endo..! I really hope your niggles now are baby related!! Fingers firmly crossed!

Victoria love that scene you just created for me! It's been a lovely day here so nice to see the sun!

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 17:41

Purdey that's unbelievable isn't it! Some woman!

juneybean · 06/02/2015 17:49

I thought progesterone caused cramping? Think that's why so many AF symptoms are similar to early pregnancy

Hairstylisttoboris · 06/02/2015 17:54

purdey ha you did spy me from that plane! :)
So glad we can orgasm still I was wondering what other fun would be removed from my life, I've cut the coffee and booze (mostly...) in the hope it helps already.

juneybean · 06/02/2015 17:55

McDonalds don't do decaf :( its bad enough I was good and didn't order my usual big Mac meal but then had to have caffeine! (Had to go to McDonalds for work....)

PurdeyBirdie · 06/02/2015 18:07
