Hello ladies,

Last bus looks full up. Unless there is a new one that I can't find...

MrsB why are you panicking lovely? Just DTD the same days you would normally in your cycle.

MrsG23 · 06/02/2015 15:38

Sparkly - I had a lap in Sept 2013 and was diagnosed with moderate endometriosis. It was lasered away during the same operation, but in the last year has come back with a vengeance. It's a lot of just taking each day as it comes - coming off the pill has helped me ALOT! Pain now only when I ovulate and when I'm due AF but AF is shorted and lighter now which is a godsend! :)

Crazypuglady - think the DH would commit if I was... But we shall see! Not a lot I can do about it now if I am?

mrsb0710 · 06/02/2015 15:39

mummy I think its just post-mc worry. I need to chill out, a lot. Haha. I guess we just shag as much as possible. I'm picking up some cheap OPKs,so can pee as often as wanted :)
Was lucky to catch on our first try, and then had the horrible mc, and erpc, so I think I'm already pre empting something going wrong. Silly really.

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 15:43

MrsG sorry to hear it's come back! Flowers My Gynae is convinced I have it but we have not done a lap because I've been quite unwell and a procedure would not be best option. They also said- much like your situation that if they did find endo as the expected they could laser it but it would just reoccur therefore it's not really treating it as such long term and it would be more for diagnostic. We decided in the end to forget the lap and try for pregnancy and see what happens..

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 15:45

mrsb it's not silly. It's natural. Try your best to focus on dtd as much as you can as per usual on next cycle. And focus your mind on a positive outcome. I think it's inevitable you will have worries, I guess you just need to try your best to keep them in check and try and look forward as positively as you can. Everyone here will spur you on!! Flowers

MrsG23 · 06/02/2015 15:47

Oh really...? It's a horrible disease, especially as it isn't so widely known about but can be disabling in extreme cases! My believe I've now got adhesions on my womb and bowel where they lasered - I can't sneeze or cough without having to curl into a ball for fear of something tearing (that what it feels like!) nightmare! But my gynae did say that having children can calm it for the 9 months you are pregnant but then get so much worse afterwards due to the surge in hormones... So it's like a limbo land! And it is so different for so many different woman!

Hairstylisttoboris · 06/02/2015 15:52

mrsb if you suspect a short cycle maybe star with the opks on day 5 or so? But invest in cheap ones so it won't matter as much if you use them for longer?

I have light spotting here, it's only day 21 of my cycle. I need to register with a go as soon as I move. Damn.

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 15:55

MrsG sounds really tough!!!well let's good you get a nice pain reduced 9 months very soon then! It's horrible having to go through pain all the time, wears you down! Yet.. Develops resilience! Flowers

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 15:56

*Good = hope

mummyofonesofar · 06/02/2015 15:57

It's not silly at all. Didn't mean to sound patronising. Just try to relax and enjoy it. Just because it's happened once, fx for a sticky one this time. Good going that you fell of first cycle. Thanks

MrsG23 · 06/02/2015 16:01

Yes definitely! I fall asleep during tattoos now my pain threshold is so high ;) hopefully labour will be a doddle! (I joke!) :)
Just wanna know either way! With AF to arrive or i suddenly start sprouting a belly and my pregnancy tests light up before I've even pee'd on them ;) x

mrsb0710 · 06/02/2015 16:04

mummy I didn't think you were patronising :) Just a lot going on and trying to be positive!

We've all had our struggles, and everyone here is so supportive. Definitely a big help.

woodpigeon123 · 06/02/2015 16:14

Ooh, I'm doing the clearblue study too....! Hurrah!

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 16:26

The question is ... Is anyone NOT doing the CB trial?! Ha ha. It will be full by the time everyone on this bus joins!! Purdey pal surely you are in on this action?! ... If only there was a maca trial... Mmm!!! Did yours arrive?!

Ps. Why am icram

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 16:27

Stupid phone sent that early... Or I did, as I am so outraged--

What are these cramps?! Why?! Lower pelvis! What is it! Last time I had them down there I was pg. why does your body do this to you!!! Torture!! Ha ha Grin

MrsG23 · 06/02/2015 16:31

You are experiencing cramping too, sparkly? How long have you had them for?

X

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 16:34

Only today MrsG I'm hoping it's not that I'm OV way way late! If thats the case I better get on the AI tonight! I'm very confused! Usually get bad pain/cramps at period time but this is weird tugging and niggly type cramps.. Hard to explain! My body is up to something anyway! Ha ha

BowiesJumper · 06/02/2015 16:35

I've just signed up for the trial. Hope I'm not too late! What are they going to send you to use then?

I'm so tired today, I feel like a could sleep for a week. And I've just eaten loads of celebrations that someone brought into work, so I feel a bit sicky (and piggy). I've just FINISHED my period, no excuse.

I think we're going to try SMEP this month, just for the craic.

PurdeyBirdie · 06/02/2015 16:36

Boris, come to think of it, I thought I'd spotted a sasquatch whilst flying over your flight path t'other day. Must've been your biff.

Cluster post coming up 'as I've been pushing my tot on the swings and have missed loooooooads....!

CoffeeTwo · 06/02/2015 16:39

For all those with cramping, the one time I was pregnant I had AF cramps from implantation all the way through the first trimester. I was certain I was coming on early. And it certainly raised anxiety levels but mother nature does like to keep us on our toes.

PurdeyBirdie · 06/02/2015 16:40

Sasquatch....or Boris' biff?

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 16:42

Coffee I had it too with my BFP last cycle. This is defo not implantation though.. I literally must have OVd three/four days ago.. I'm wondering if maybe I'm OVing today and that's the weird sensation! I have noooo idea! Ha . Mother Nature can be a right bitch though you are right!

Purdey bet you were swinging too Wink

nightandthelight · 06/02/2015 16:43

I just applied for the trial too! Waiting to hear from them.

australopithecus · 06/02/2015 16:48

during the tww do you continue to have orgasms as I have heard some IVF clinics not allowing women to
gets on feminist horse not allowing to indeed! Not allowing to?
Orgasm in men functions to deposit sperm as far up the vagina as possible. Orgasm in women functions to facilitate movement of sperm towards and through the cervix.
If it was in anyway commonly detrimental to implantation it would be an utterly stupid strategy for nature to have evolved. I suppose some women might for some reason be better off not orgasming. Extra thin uterine lining that might disintegrate at a contraction or when falling onto the couch in exhaustion. I don't know. Worth remembering that women an men who have ivf have it because there are serious problems in the first place. Bog standard me and most women probably don't have to stress about "allowing" ourselves a bit of fun. There is so much stress involved in ttc and carrying a successful pregnancy that this is the least of your concerns IMO. Grin
(This is also why I ate and will continue to eat good sushi during pregnancy, and drink the odd glass of wine or a cocktail during pregnancy, and continue sleeping with my cat not the bed during pregnancy even though it might just have pooped in the garden. Grin Choose your battles as they say.)
