AF due in 4 days. Spotting usually starts 3 days before so we will see what happens tomorrow. Obvs I've POAS and got BFN but think it's still too early.

I honestly think you're very very lucky if you conceive from sex just once. I think the majority of men have only okay-ish sperm in this day and age and that means we need plenty of it up there.

Well... After a couple of days of feeling a bit odd - very overheated (stripping off in a very cold log cabin cause I was burning up - long story) and feeling queasy on Weds, decided to try a frer this morning and... BFP!!! I mean, a squinter, but definitely there! Absolutely terrified as last pregnancy ended in a MMC in sept, but not going to get too excited just yet. Will do another tomorrow and see if it's darker. Fingers crossed!

I'm out this month; AF arrived on CD 23, short cycle again, giving me only a 10/11 day LP, is that to short?! What vitamins are recommended to try to lengthen it? I'll go to the doctor as soon as we move house and I can register with the new local health dudes but would like to sort stuff out myself in the interim if I can.

I'm trying not to feel too gutted about it. I'm determined that next month will be our month! AF is really painful already (bitch) which is helping to distract. I might stick around on this bus of it's ok, and book a seat on the match bus: new stats

I paid approx £500 this month but a lot of that is shipping and tax on the shipping :( I bought 2 x 0.5ml as I'm hoping to do two insems 24-36 apart.

Think it was €244 per straw whatever that is in English!

Annoyingly I actually have paid for sperm in my fertility clinic but I can't afford the IUI in order to use it :(

purdey I told DH what you said about his spermz and he has now pronounced himself 'Mr Super Spunk'. He's sat there grinning feeling very pleased with himself I'm pretty sure that it had zilch to do with his spermz and everything to do with the law of sod and the fact that I bought tampons and pads this month and registered for the CB trial.

Just bought a digi with conception indicator. Going to leave it till Tues/Weds in the hope it shows 2-3 which means everything is progressing. Checked the test I did this morning when I got back to make sure the line was there

Aw, Juney, thanks for indulging me. How come the volume they send is so small? I mean, obviously it is enough to do the job but where is the rest of the donor's sample? Surely he isn't only ejaculating 1ml?? Do you think they share his sample among a few ladies? Or have they washed the sample and extracted the very finest sperm? How exciting! and how ironic if lesbians get the very best spunk

Wow June sperm is a lot more expensive than I realized! Is it spun down stuff like they put in at iui? How much is an iui in comparison? I guess with medication its a lot. My clinic don't seem to do 'natural' iui, does yours June?

What cd are you on, juney and when will you be inseminating (ish)?

I chose unwashed as its cheaper and it'll get filtered by my cervix. But he had a few straws available so itll be shared amongst all the womenz. But thankfully they have quotas so there's less chance of my child meeting s hsljf sibling by accident. It's the thing that puts me off using a "super donor" but its plan c!

IUI at my clinic was £770 for natural but £210 for drugs and I had already paid £1200 for three vials of sperm! I bought a house last year and ended up putting down a bigger deposit so have spent all the baby money!

But apparently the stuff I bought has at least 10million per 1ml little guys in it I think?!

I'm cycle day 6 and have got one step, clear blue digital and am temping so I'm thinking sat or sun next week.... Ive been a bit reckless I don't even know what day I'm ovulating...my period came and I just thought fuck it I'm ordering!
