glittery I had this problem. I told my GP and she said it was fine (so why am I not pg?!) I have started b50 complex from holland and Barrett which should help. But unless you have been trying 12 months they won't do anything. Then they will do 21 day bloods to check your progesterone

Cd13 - I've had my surge.. Seeing that smiley on that bloody cb stick is almost as exciting as a bfp.. No joke..I could have cried.. Woooo..

We get down to business having informed him of my epic smiley..he's not really feeling it but he'd be in the doghouse for denying me the sperm which is clearly half mine through marriage..
He feels a bit of pressure, it all feels a bit forced for both of us, and he cracks.. I quietly leave the room hiding my disappointment, feeling a tad sorry for myself.. Long story short, he feels guilty and we go again..
Ttc can be such a ball ache.. Bloody darn babies being all adorable & cute - try to remind myself that the new baby smell will all be worth it.. Heavenly..

A thought from my DH about what his sperm are up to inside of me at this very moment horrific thought that I'm harbouring little swimming creatures
Has anybody ever thought about what sperm actually swim in when they've been ejected into our wondrous bodies.. Are our wombs full of lovely liquid that they swim through? I know they have their own liquid & our mucas.. But surely that's not enough..? He's googling it as I type.. Haha!

Any insight on this topic would be much appreciated

Some women find taking b6 helpful in elongating their lp. Personally I have been amazed at the results of this - mine has gone from 9/10 days to 12/13!

Sperm questioned answered by good old google.. Our wombs are moist, as sperm is so small that moisture is plentiful for them to swim through.. I find that fascinating and would love to see their journey!!

I watched something on you tube last year and our fallopian tubes in their effort to push the egg along sort of push sperm away. It's amazing the human race continues!

There was a great documentary called The Great Sperm Race which scaled up the journey. It is probably on you tube. Well worth a look!

june I said the same thing to DH last night- it's a wonder that there are so many of us walking around!

This month has been a stepp learning curve for both of us. I have seen pictures of cervixes (thanks purdey) and he has been a bit disappointed by the thought that his swimmers just have to sit around in my tubes, waiting for my egg to come along (I think he pictured them more a valiant warriors, striving to reach the egg- which, of course, they still could be!)

Winter, I felt exactly the same when I saw my peak smiley this morning, I did a big whoop, and keep looking at it every now and again just to see it's little smiley face grinning back at me!

Holy crap.. Me & DH have just watched a fertility video on youtube.. It's a bloody bloodbath for those poor sperm..
I'm baffled how anybody gets pregnant..it's extraordinary when you think about it..

Sorry, last post.. Thought I should clarify that there's a bit more to my description of how sperm travel which I've already forgotten but it's fascinating stuff..

Winterbaby TTC really is stressful at times eh. At least you got there in the end!! And that's interesting re sperm journey!! Haven't even thought about it before!

It's a great video, I watch it every two week wait so I can try and encourage the little fellas along.

I've seen that video! If it's the same one... It is fascinating! It's amazing that they make and everything has to be so on point for it all to come together! Amazing really! But no no no us ladies expect it to happen.. Right now!!! Ha ha
