Hope you sorted it cupcake!

Has anyone heard off lulu?

lillamyy1 · 22/03/2015 16:18

Good point Ducky, no word from Lulu for ages. Hope she's ok!
Hope today went well Cupcake!
Siarie, obviously I really don't know much but it sounds like slow labour to me. Could the cm be your mucus plug? If I were you I'd definitely go and get checked out!! When we went into hospital to have baby's hb monitored, while we were waiting a couple came in and the woman had been in slow labour for two days - and it sounded exactly like what you're describing. Contractions regularly and then stopping and then coming back regular and then stopping again etc. I know there hasn't been any more fluid so that gush on Friday probably wasn't your waters, I'd go in to make sure anyway because on the off chance it was, you could get an infection.

I'm a mixture of really excited for you and also a bit Envy because I'm desperate for a sign that my little man is getting ready to make an appearance but so far nada!!

Cupcake92 · 22/03/2015 22:10

I'm exhsusted. It was very stressful with DS and being a bridesmaid at the same time. Also the one room was used for everything so we kept being kicked out so they could rearrange stuff and this completely messed up DS. Just glad to be home. Not doing that again lol!!

Cupcake92 · 22/03/2015 22:12

And yeah poor Lulu where is she? :( hope everything is alright. I know how she normally sits with her mug of tea and browses mumsnet!

Lill u may just get a surprise and suddenly go into labour! U never know ! :)

Siarie · 22/03/2015 23:47

I went it to get checked, after having BH since 3:30pm. It took so long to be seen! I am having contractions but just have to wait until they get more regular. I wasn't impressed to be honest, the staff hardly spoke. Didn't tell me what was going on, didn't seem fussed that I'm not full term yet.

If I had known that I would have stayed home until they get to 3-4 mins apart!

lillamyy1 · 23/03/2015 00:19

Ooh Siarie! Exciting!! Keep us updated and hope all goes well Flowers

Bearsinmotion · 23/03/2015 02:17

Oo, good luck Siarie!

DS is being a monkey - he's been awake for a he last hour or so (longer than he's ever awake during the day!). Every time i get him out of his cot he goes to sleep and then wakes up the second I put him back Confused. And DD has just woken up and said she is sad because she can't cuddle mummy :(.

cupcake sounds like the wedding was a bit mental, not surprised you are glad to be home!

lill, it will be your turn soon!

Cupcake92 · 23/03/2015 02:51

Glad u went and got checked out Siarie :) keep us posted on how u are! Don't worry about not being full term ur very close to full term. When these babies are ready they are ready and will just come! :)

Bless Bears!! :( aaww poor DD. I bet it's hard having to share ur moms love etc. I hope my DS will be alright with it all.

To top the wedding off, I've been up all night so far as I think I may have food poisoning!! :( :( I feel awful! But I read that it's dangerous to get food poisoning when pg ! so now I'm really worried :s will go to see the doctor in the morning to be on the safe side. I'm really not feeling good tho :(
I'm having one of those moments where I just want my mom! Lol :(

OP posts:
Bearsinmotion · 23/03/2015 02:58

Hope you feel better soon cupcake! I had proper food poisoning once and it was awful. Make sure you keep drinking water at least.

I do feel sorry for DD but most of the time she loves having a baby brother, she is always showing him off and helping him by bringing him his toys or dummy :)

Ducky23 · 23/03/2015 07:13

Siarie surely they should of kept you in if your in labor as you aren't term yet? These doctors! Keep us updated.

Bears, how is it with both of them, has dd been ok?

Cupcake, that's crap! I'm guessing you fit into your dress Grin

Cupcake92 · 23/03/2015 07:50

Thanks Bears. Yes been drinking water all night in the hope it will make me better lol! It's not as bad this morning thank god!
aaw she sounds like a proud sister :)

Ducky yes I fit into my dress but oh my god.... I am showing already! Everyone who knew about the pregnancy kept telling me I've got a little bump and asking if I could be further along than I thought! When I said I'd already had a scan and my dates are right they tried to make me feel better by saying "oh u show a lot sooner with ur second baby anyway" lol!

steph1204 · 23/03/2015 10:20

Don't worry to much Siarie, you're 35 weeks and if your DD wants to pop up, she will be healthy, I'm sure!
My DS arrived at 36+4 and was in perfect health. Just try to relax and keep her with you a few days more :)

Oh Cupcake, tummy upsets are the worst, poor you! I'm glad you're feeling a bit better now. Hopefully whatever it was has got out of your system now. Do you think it was the wedding food then? I wonder if all the guests got ill... And the bride and groom!! That wouldn't have been an ideal wedding night Shock
Ooh Tori, I'd be so Angry DP has learnt to make sure he tidies before I get home if I've been away for a little while Grin he knows it's not worth leaving a mess for me to come home to Wink
Ducky, you made me Grin How's DS?
And how's your little DS Steph?
Sorry to hear your DS was awake in the night Bears. DD sounds like such a lovely sister for him! How old is she again?

Ducky23 · 23/03/2015 12:19

Tori that would make me angry too Angry

Lil, I had to try it out somewhere Grin ds is great thanks, although he is very interested in things now so he takes a lot of entertaining which has me exhausted! We have his follow up consultant appointment in two weeks time then he will refer us to a dietitian for advice on weaning him Grin fingers crossed his allergy goes quickly!

lillamyy1 · 23/03/2015 16:58

Aww glad he's well Ducky and so interested in everything! He must be a clever little boy Smile

Cupcake92 · 23/03/2015 18:33

Ducky u make me laugh Grin

Steph how is ur DS doing?
Hope ur all well :)

Tori typical men! They are terrible when left alone! Bet u can't wait for Mat leave either!
I'm hoping to stay till around 35 weeks but will all depend on my health as with DS I fainted a lot and got dizzy and had to go at 29 weeks. Then went into labour 3 weeks later lol

Lill I think it may have been the chicken I ate for the main course! It looked a bit pink but I thought it was just cuz of the bacon round it but obviously not :s lol!
Feeling much better now! Was told to just keep drinking to keep me hydrated as that was the most important. I feel fine now tho just my body aches lol

LuluJakey1 · 23/03/2015 19:51

Evening all. I am fine. Have been reading all your posts. Just felt a bit out of it really now DS is here and you are all talking about being pregnant so I jst read what you were all talking about.

Anyway, DS is fine. 12 weeks and such a sweetie. He is a very easy baby although he did have a really bad afternoon and evening last week. Someone on another thread told us about the five S's video on Good Morning and DH tried it and it was like magic. We have used it since.

We are just a bit knackered and both looking forward to DH being on his Easter hols. He has been working late and had lots of marking to do and he needs a break.

DS can roll over now! Very dangerous and he chuckles when he does it. Little devil.

Sairie, I think you might be on your way to the maternity ward very soon. Grin

Cupcake92 · 24/03/2015 07:46

Lulu glad ur alright :) and glad DS is doing so well! Can't believe he can roll over already! Took my DS ages to do that!

Our boiler has broke again! I'm getting so annoyed at this Angry time to call the plumber lol I had very bad Ms last night I felt awful. Just when I thought it was calming Down it pounces up on me Grin

OP posts:
Ducky23 · 24/03/2015 08:02

Hi lulu! What is the 5s'? ds seems to have bad days every now and again, I think it's mainly when he's around a growth spurt Confused

Cupcake have you checked if there's any schemes in your area for new boilers? If it's just your wages and there are any it's likely you will be eligible for one Smile

Cupcake92 · 24/03/2015 08:35

Oh right I didn't know there were schemes for new boilers ducky. Thing is tho our boiler is fairly new it's not old at all. Only a couple of years old. Confused

This Ducky, search You Tube for Richard and Judy Happiest Baby on the Block

It is just amazing and it really does work. Ds just loves it. I thought it wouldn't work but it definitely does- with DS at least.

Cupcake - is it this weekend your H moves out?

DS is very pleased with himself about the rolling over and DH is convinced it is evidence that he will be a premier league footballer- if I have anything to do with it he won't. Grin
