How frustrating bears! Try to get some rest and it will probably start again soon Smile does DH work far away?

Cupcake, poor ds Hmm did you take him to the gp?

Lulu hope ds and you get some sleep, I think sleeping more upright helps the mucus come out

Bearsinmotion · 24/02/2015 09:05

More worried Confused. Just phoned delivery suite to check they are expecting me (they weren't with DD!) so need to be there at 4pm tomorrow. DP is 20 minutes away, hospital is in between our house and his work.

Cupcake92 · 24/02/2015 10:12

Sounds awful siarie, is this just since being pg?

Sucky gp said he had a head cold and that he had lots of children in this week already with it. But he's throwing up a lot so I'm not sure if he's right :s

Bless Bears well good luck with tomorrow :)

Poor, poor DS cupcake (and poor you dealing with all that sick!) If I were you I'd call the doc again. Surely it's not normal for a cold to make a baby throw up so much! Is he eating and drinking ok?
Fx that everything goes to plan bears. How many weeks are you again? And I forgot why you're booked for induction?
Sorry to hear you're still feeling poorly Siarie. Was the fainting because you were lying on your back do you think? Hope all goes well at the ob today.
I'm tired and achey again today. I've got my first pregnancy Pilates class this eve - I really hope it helps my PGP and doesn't make it worse Confused

Siarie · 24/02/2015 12:04

I've not fainted for a long time until I was pregnant. I've had two faints during pregnancy, one before my glucose test (hadn't eaten, low blood sugar level and was hot) and one yesterday when I was lying on my back.

www.babycentre.co.uk/a228/dizziness-in-pregnancy

I think it's a situational thing due to me having low blood pressure. If you combine that with heat, low blood sugar, tilting a pregnant woman onto their back as well as having low iron levels then you are likely to faint. However, because I've also had palpitations recently I need to see a specialist because palpitations plus fainting with low blood pressure can be due to a heart issue which is pronounced when pregnant.

I'm sure it will be fine but the ony thing i can do at the moment is drink water, don't lie on my back, make sure I eat regularly and take my iron supplements. I almost fainted again this morning while I was waiting to see the anesthetist earlier today. Waiting to get an appointment with a consultant now. Ho hum!

Cupcake92 · 24/02/2015 16:10

Lulu he's eating and drinking okay. Appetite is off but he's still eating most things. So far he's not been sick since this morning n looks a little better.

Siarie make sure u take care of urself and relax

I'm so ready for my bed now lol

How are you feeling Cupcake, my MS didn't kick in until week 6/7. Glad to hear your DS seems a bit better :)

I shall be taking it easy this evening, DH is away so it's just me again. BH started again an hour ago but so far have stopped, just what I need! I shall be glad when she's out, I don't trust my body to be able to do what it's suppose to do. I can't produce thyroid hormones so goodness knows what else is faulty! I know it might sound silly but I don't seem to suit being pregnant, i'll be much happier when she's here and her well being doesn't depend on my biology!

Cupcake92 · 24/02/2015 18:51

I'm feeling okay thanks Siarie. Just have headaches often and so exhausted even when I'm doing nothing! Only slight nausea atm but I'm prepared for ms to hit soon! As it normally does!
I was like that with DS I just wanted him out so I knew he was safe lol glad ur taking it easy tonight tho. How far away is DH?

Hope DS has turned a corner Cupcake and you both get some sleep tonight.

We have had a better day. Ds has been more himself and we have had some smiles but still whingey. His cold is drying up now. His little nose is red though. He is sitting on DH's knee while DH marks some books.

I need some sleep tonight, I haven't had any today. I was scared to fall asleep this morning when he was in his chair then I was just dozing off and he started crying.

Bears - lots and lots of luck tomorrow. It'll soon be over and you'll be back at home with your lovely baby.

Cupcake92 · 25/02/2015 08:51

Lulu DS is feeling a lot better and slept better last night. Only woke up once as he was coughing a lot but slept in till 7:15 this morning. Hope u manage to get some see too :)

Good luck this afternoon Bears!!! Not long till under ur baby! Exciting stuff! :D

Soooo, DS decided he wasn't hanging around for the induction and made his own way out! Went to the hospital about 10 last night with contractions every 10 minutes, soon they were every 5 minutes and very painful. Finally got an epidural at 3am and DS was born at 6:53. Just got home too, no complications so they just let us go!

Omg great news bears!!! And out so soon!!! GrinGrinGrin How are you recovering?

steph1204 · 25/02/2015 19:49

Congratulations Bears!!!! I'm so happy for you!

steph1204 · 25/02/2015 19:56

Our little tresor is 4 weeks now, time is flying!
He's doing very great! DH told me today that he misses him very much when he's at work: he thinks it will be very difficult for me in 3 months, when I'll have to go back to work... He's probably right and I don't want to think about it, but to be honest, I can't imagine to spend a whole day without him right now... How was it for you, Bears, cupcake, and all the others mums ??

lillamyy1 · 25/02/2015 19:57

Amazing news Bears!! Congratulations!! Flowers How's the little chap doing? Does DD like him? I'm so excited for you!
How many weeks were you?
Can't wait for my little one to male his appearance - getting so excited! Grin

Bearsinmotion · 25/02/2015 20:32

I was 39+6 so he was 1 day early! DD likes him, he got her some chocolate buttons and a Thomas toy (she is easily bought!). Recovering ok, just a bit shell shocked by the speed of it all!

Steph DD was 11 months when I went back and it was fine! I do love my job and really enjo?ed having adult company again. Also, most importantly, DP and I loved her nursery and had complete confidence in them, which makes a huge difference.

Right, must stop staring at tiny DS and get some sleep Grin

lillamyy1 · 25/02/2015 21:09

I'm a bit worried... probably nothing, but my little wriggler usual starts wriggling and kicking loads at about 7pm and carries on until about midnight but this eve he's hardly been moving at all Confused he's doing some tiny movements now but nothing like usual and I'm getting really anxious. He was very lively at the usual times this morning and this afternoon but it's not like him to be so quiet in the eve. I've had some ice cream and a cold glass of milk and I'm lying on my side but it doesn't seem to be waking him up. How long should I wait before calling the midwife???

Siarie · 25/02/2015 21:15

lil call the midwife now and see what they say, they may suggest a cold drink and waiting 30 minutes or something but best to call them.

Siarie · 25/02/2015 21:16

I see you've tried the cold drink trick, sorry missed that. So yes call them now I would. Hope everything's ok

Ducky23 · 25/02/2015 21:40

Lil call triage and go in for monitoring. Any change in usual pattern should be checked out ASAP.

I went in loads and it realy helps put your mind at rest instead of worrying the rest of the night. They really won't mind seeing you.

Everything is more than likely fine but it's definitely worth getting checked out.

Sounds stupid but if I had done this instead of going to my midwife my dd may still be here Hmm

please get checked out.
