TypicAl that is cupcake! Will you still be going? Who will be taking ds? Everything seems to be looking up for you now Smile (apart from poor ds being ill) I think there is something going round ATM though Confused

Lulu, have you tried peeing while standing? It's quite difficult so am glad he's letting you off! Grin Will you be an hounory lad or will you be going shopping?

Abfab it tried to snow here this morning but is quite sunny now! Grin

Ds has one night feed again last night! Am hoping he keeps this up Grin

LuluJakey1 · 21/02/2015 15:29

No Ducky- never tried peeing standing up. Can't imagine how it would work very 'efficiently' for a woman.

It isfreezing up herenow. It was lovely and sunny up the coast at the country park. we had a lvely time. Now it is grey and very cold. We had lunch at the farm cafe and bought some treats for tea. DS has rosy cheeks. Can't believe how he is growing. Not a tiny baby anymore! Photo attached from this morning.

He is fast asleep in his chair and the heating is on. As I am writing it has started to snow, great big heavy flakes in the garden.

Hope the hen do went/ is going well cupcake and that you managed to get something sorted with the finances. Also hope poor DS gets better soon! If I have a migraine I take paracetamol with codeine. They're ok to take in pregnancy - I've heard of a few pregnant women being prescribed codeine. It's the only thing that works for me. Have you had any pregnancy symptoms yet? You usually get quite sick, don't you?
Ducky, what brilliant news about DS's sleeping! I've got my fingers crossed that he carries on sleeping so well!
Lulu, my DP is pretty into football too. I humour him when he tells me all about the players. Sometimes he tells the baby all about it too, through my tummy Grin he's having a break from playing FIFA atm though which is a relief!! Sometimes he'll have the live football on the laptop AND be playing FIFA at the same time!!
Siarie, have you been to the physio about your pelvis? I went a couple of weeks ago but it was just a half hour workshop about how to stand up/ sit down comfortably! I'm hoping pregnancy Pilates will help - I'm stating next week. It does help to squeeze your pelvic floor and deep abdominals when you're doing any movement that usually hurts. My "fanny bone" (!) has been reeeeeally sore today - getting in and out of bed aggravates it and I have to get in and out of bed loads in the night for a wee.

lillamyy1 · 21/02/2015 19:21

Tori, that's really sweet of your DH (but he should of course have told you he loved you too!)

Siarie · 21/02/2015 21:51

lil I haven't but I mentioned it to my midwife and she suggested a belt if it gets worse. I have a really strong pelvic floor and I worked on my abs before pregnancy as I had physio for my back. So I needed a good core to stop that hurting due to a disc problem. I think that's helped a lot, the pain is manageable at the moment, I only get bad days if I walk for ages. Hoping I can last the final 6-9 weeks left without intervention really.

Finding it hard to realise that Ducky wasn't long ago at the same stage as me! I Remember us saying "not long to go now!" And that doesn't seem that long ago.

Ducky23 · 21/02/2015 22:26

Honestly it's gone so quick Blush at the time I would think it was going slow because of him being ill and everything but now I don't know where the time has gone! It won't be long Grin

Cupcake92 · 22/02/2015 06:48

HEli hope everyone is okay!
Hen do was alright. The other girls who tried to do ridiculous things failed as my friend announced she's 8 weeks pregnant!! So I'll be pregnant at the same time again with Her which is nice :) as we were both pg with my DS n her DD at the same time.

DS is still poorly he's got like a croup type cough and very sniffly.

My pg symptoms so far are headaches again! Awful awful headaches and ive been feeling nauseous but only just started feeling it yesterday.
I get terrified ever time I go to the loo :( just scared to wipe and see blood. So I literally have been plucking up courage just to pee!
Oh and I can't stop burping atm :s
Just want things to be okay this time. If I make 6 weeks then I'll book my midwife appt and I'll book an 8 week scan then.

My bridesmaid and another friend were both 5 months pregnant when I had my hen do. Bless them they came to some big loud strip show with us! I think their poor babies already experienced too much before they even left the womb Grin

I'm sending you lots of sticky vibes cupcake! Each day that goes by the chance that this will be your next baby increases. Congratulate the little mass of cells every night on that Smile

Ducky23 · 22/02/2015 09:34

Oh no! Hope ds is feeling better soon cupcake!

Well I know this is awful but I couldn't help myself... Looked on H's phone, the one I suspected he might be cheating on me with has been messaging him, nothing that gives anything away but just flirty chatting, i don't see why it has to be via messages? And also a message to someone laughing saying he took some drugs (before ds was born) and I had no idea Hmm can't even say anything as hel know I've gone through his phone.

Cupcake92 · 22/02/2015 11:28

Thanks Ab! :) I have to book my scan in for 7 weeks so I'm nervous and jut hope I make it! So the sticky vibes are helping! :) will be having it hopefully on Tuesday 17th March!

Oo no Ducky :( why the hell has he done that??? Why would he even take drugs?
If it was me I'd definitely bring it up and even if he moaned about going through his phone I'd say u have a right to be suspicious and this proves it!

OP posts:
Ducky23 · 22/02/2015 11:42

Well ... How bad is this... My thoughts were if I leave it I might catch him out with that girl, if I bring it up he will be more secretive with his phone :-/

AbFab86 · 22/02/2015 11:49

Oh no Ducky! Why don't men ever grow up?! Ok see if this helps - if you saw those texts and didn't suspect he'd been cheating on you with her, would they still be flirty chatting or just chatting? Sometimes we can skew things in our head because of earlier misconceptions.

OR...they really are flirty texts and he needs a reminder of how good he has it at home and he'd better grow up and realise that (and be grateful for it!)

Ducky23 · 22/02/2015 12:59

I don't know Abfab Confused I'm not sure whether I'm reading too much into it because I suspect him Hmm maybe it is just chatting

iamdivergent · 22/02/2015 17:10

What are the messages like? some people are naturally 'flirty' especially in texts or via messenger

Ducky23 · 22/02/2015 17:15

Well it's probably nothing... Maybe... But they're talking about this video he shared and they keep sending winks and then she messaged him saying happy birthday and he messaged back 'spank you ;-)'

AbFab86 · 22/02/2015 17:50

She sounds like a dick normal acquaintance.

iamdivergent · 22/02/2015 18:08

I would only say spank you to dh but I dunno :/

Cupcake92 · 22/02/2015 19:25

Hmm.. Ducky the "spank you" bit does sound like he's being purposely flirty :/

OP posts:
AbFab86 · 22/02/2015 19:44

I read that wrong - I thought it was her who sent him 'spank you'. Hmm..

Without knowing them I don't really know what to think. I know if some girls sent that to my DH I wouldn't think anything of it, whereas if some others did I would have no reserves about telling him how inappropriate it was. But that doesn't help solve the problem of him getting arsey about looking at his phone Hmm

Siarie · 22/02/2015 20:25

Depends how you want it to play out, if you want to be sure you need to wait and say nothing. Continue to monitor, or say something he will deny (rightly or wrongly) but it might stop anything further.

LuluJakey1 · 22/02/2015 22:49

We have got a poorly baby. He has got a streaming cold and a temperature and some yucky nappies. Have given him Calpol but he is not a happy little boy. Hardly slept last night or today and is now very over- tired.

DH has work tomorrow so told him to go into the spare room to try and sleep. DS is just wailing. So hope he falls asleep soon. He needs the rest and so do I! Poor DS. DH is walking the room cuddling him at the minute.

Ducky, I wuld be more worried about the drugs. Do you know what they were?

LuluJakey1 · 22/02/2015 23:32

DH has gone to bed. Ds is still awake. He dozes off for a few minutes then wails again. I think I might take him to Drs in the morning just to be on the safe side. He is 8 weeks on Tuesday so should not really have Calpol until then.
Will they give him his injections if he has a cold?

Cupcake92 · 23/02/2015 00:47

Aw bless ur DS Lulu hope he's better soon. And no they tend not to do injections when they are ill.

My DS is also very very ill. He's off to docs In morning as well. He's thrown up twice now literally everywhere! He's jad 2 baths ive had 2 showers it's been that bad! The washing machines been on twice! Now my bed Matress is down stairs and so is his. We are camping out as it's cooler down here and he's got a high tenp :(
I have work tomorrow but not sure about going as DS is really quite ill. I can't wait to sleep either lol!

LuluJakey1 · 23/02/2015 07:22

DS did rall asleep Cupcake but he woke up every hour or so and ws just hot and whingey and took ages to settle again.I am definitely taking him to Drs this morning. I think it is just a cold but am trying to not panic. He is so little. DH has gone to work worried sick.

Hope your DS is feeling better and it is just a virus.

Ducky23 · 23/02/2015 07:26

Oh no your poor ds's!

Lulu when I took ds they gave him saline nasal stuff to try and help clear his nose, they also advised either a humidifier or wet clothes on the radiators as the moist invite air helps clear their chest, and sleeping slightly propped up. Apparently the yucky nappies are because they're swallowing mucus. Once you take him gp just keep an eye on his breathing and if it's taking him effort I would take him to hosp.

I think the reason they don't give injections is because one of them is a live vaccine and van give them a temp so they need to know if the vaccine causes that or something else.

Hope your ds is better too cupcake Confused

Lulu I don't even know, I'm such a dork when it comes to these things, I've never taken anything in my life Blush I didn't take it in too much too as I was a bit wound up about that girl, see he had messages from work friends so I skimmed them to see if they mention anything
