shinysparklythings · 28/01/2015 07:26

Hope nobody minds, Thought I'd start a march bus especially for those people like me who skip feb out due to it being 28 days and having a 32 day cycle, or those already kicked off the feb bus. But all are welcome expecting bfps in March!

Found the jan bus was a great place to be to discuss the madness that is ttc!

So welcome aboard! Grin

Shinysparklythings 29, ttc#1, cycle 2, bfp due 1st march.

Thanks shiny.

Got back from my run earlier and had a good root around my cervix before jumping in the shower. Found some ewcm Smile. Still neg opk but feeling a bit more at ease now!

blondie good luck for your op, is it something which will assist with ttc in the long term?

juney good luck with AI, saw some of your posts over on feb bus. Glad to hear your sperms arrived on time! How many 'goes' do you get?

On the subject of bum propping, I'm not a bum proper either. I tend to lie on my back with my legs squeezed together, catching up on mn while DP falls asleep!

juneybean · 16/02/2015 13:18

dizzy i bought two straws which they recommend for one insemination but I did two, one at 2.30am and one at 12.30pm

auroraboringalis · 16/02/2015 13:31

Oh Blondie! Sorry to hear this news, but I hope that in the long term this will be best. Much luck your way, and that it will be successful and that you can get back to baby making soon! Flowers

BabyBumpHopeful · 16/02/2015 13:47

Day 5 of flashing smiley. FF has my possible OV date as tues, wed or thurs. Sure wish it would happen already!!

Will go back and read everyone else's posts now I've vented :P

dojo123 · 16/02/2015 16:04

blondie sorry to here you're leaving the bus. Hope the op goes smoothly and you recover quickly. Flowers

HeirToTheIronThrone · 16/02/2015 16:33

Hello all! Re bum pillows, I have a dedicated bum cushion to avoid using my pillow and then getting a spunk/hair situation later on...

Only CD6 here. Ho hum.

Re getting emotional over other babies/pg announcements, there's currently a phone ad that is all about 'someone's having a baby' and how the phone personal assistant can help you find the best route to the hospital and choose names. I have to restrain myself from throwing things at the TV. Also, do not watch Call the Midwife...

HeirToTheIronThrone · 16/02/2015 16:35

Sorry to hear your news as well Blondie

DH got told he is being made redundant today. We should probably stop til things are sorted but I can't imagine being able to bring myself to do it...

juneybean · 16/02/2015 16:36

Call the midwife makes me cry every week and this morning I cried at footage of the 2012 Olympic opening ceremony?!

chasingtherainbow · 16/02/2015 16:41

Juneybean that made me lol.

I had to take dd for her preschool jabs today and didn't realise it was baby clinic. I found it really hard and the dad next to us had a sobbing 8 week old. . It made my left breast leak! I haven't breastfed in 2 years! WTF! Thought I was going to cry. EDD was may 22nd and I should have bee. Finishing work in a month. :-(

chasingtherainbow · 16/02/2015 16:44

Sorry just realised wrong thread. Sorry if my last bit upsets anyone. Should have been on the mc thread

juneybean · 16/02/2015 16:46

Aww that's awful chasing didn't upset me just feel sad for you x

adora1985 · 16/02/2015 16:56

That's rubbish chasing, I had my HSG on the 6th and was sat waiting amongst women there to have their 12 and 20 week scans, as it's all part of the same department at our hospital. That was bad enough, but they were all normally dressed and I was in the hospital gowns, so I kept getting pitying or nervous looks thrown my way. Ttc really sucks sometimes.

chasingtherainbow · 16/02/2015 17:01

Adora :-( why do they do that? I had to have twice weekly bloods for seven weeks and I was always sat in the waiting rooms with people waiting for 12 and 20 weeks scans. The worse bit was watching another couple come out holding each other up after bad news. I just wanted to hug her. :-(

Anyway sorry to drag down the thread.

March bfp here we come. Take home babies for us all

victoria401 · 16/02/2015 17:02

Call the midwife makes me cry too! You read the books? They're actually quite graphic!

Nothing else to contribute.... Cd2, yawn....

juneybean · 16/02/2015 17:05

I've only read the first Victoria but have the second somewhere waiting to be read!

victoria401 · 16/02/2015 17:05

God that's awful having certain scans in the same areas. Its not like that at mine. I had my hsg in the radiology dept in the main building. There are lots of little buildings in the 'women's quarter', one of early preg clinic, one for maternity, one for infertility clinic etc. Much better.

blondiewoowoo1 · 16/02/2015 17:06

Thanks everyone.
It's nothing too drastic - just got to have some cervical polyps removed but the process being that I have to wait for my referral to come through then wait for a date for them to be removed (only a small procedure) so it's not the problem in itself, just the time scale of waiting for it all to happen and I can't TTC until its all done as they can't do it when I'm pregnant and as there is a (hopefully) very tiny chance of them being cancerous then my head is saying I had better get that done with first.

chasingtherainbow · 16/02/2015 17:16

Blondie I'm glad it's not serious. My friend had hers done v quickly. . Her op was within the month and she was in and out of hospital in 3 hrs! Her surgeon gave her a tour of her uterus on the screen Grin good luck. I hope it's all sorted asap and you get your bfp soon after x

adora1985 · 16/02/2015 17:21

Chasing, it's awful isn't it. There was a woman in with her husband whilst I was waiting who was in quite a state, I presume she'd had bad news. Nobody should have to cope with that around others who are having the opposite experience, it just seems cruel.
In my hpapilla the x-Ray department is part of the ultrasound department, and infant clinic. Next door is the maternity ward, which is divided into several wards, and you have to go past all of these to get in/out of the x-Ray/ultrasound department. In one way it makes sense for them to be near each other, but can make a bad situation even worse for anyone there who's not having a healthy pregnancy/birth.
Blondie, I hope they manage to get you in for your op quickly, waiting for appointments can be hellish, particularly when it's delaying you from ttc. Hopefully you won't be waiting too long.

blondiewoowoo1 · 16/02/2015 17:35

chasing that's reassuring to hear thank you. Hope you are ok too, today must have been hard in that waiting room. On a separate note our DC must be similar ages as my DS is due his pre school jabs any time in the next month or so (he is 3yrs and 3 mths)
adora yes it's not the op which bothers me, more the waiting for the dates to come through that is the most annoying as I'm just waiting for that before I can do anything else.

chasingtherainbow · 16/02/2015 17:52

Yes, 3.6 this month Grin

eleganthedgehog · 16/02/2015 17:57

Just trying to catch up.

night I'm in NZ if you ever want any help/ advice re the immigrating part. We've been here 7.5 years now and moved around a lot since then with dh's job. NZ is great (but a long way from anywhere!).

blondie hope you get a date soon for the op and it all goes well.

chasing not bringing us down at all but fingers tightly crossed for you for this month.

auroraboringalis · 16/02/2015 18:42

A uterus tour sounds grand! I think our bus should join in! Grin
I honestly don't understand why they don't think more carefully about planning gynae/ob/health visit wards/rooms better. The amount of additional stress these things cause. But I guess if they are still struggling with separating mixed-sex male and female wards in certain hospitals this isnt high on the list. Especially needing tk be having all the relevant equipment handy for whatever vaguely gynaecological things need doing? Hmm I had a visit to the local hospital wards but had a home birth for dc which was good as I didn't like the overlap. It's awful though if things are rubbish for you having to see happier outcomes. Sad

nightandthelight · 16/02/2015 20:54

Ooh elegant what is it actually like and how easy/hard is it to emigrate? What made you decide to go there?

brokencrayons · 16/02/2015 21:24

Hello can I hop on please? 31 years old, ttc#3. Cycle 2. I'm not 100% out this month but I'm pretty sure AF is coming tomorrow!
