Hope nobody minds, Thought I'd start a march bus especially for those people like me who skip feb out due to it being 28 days and having a 32 day cycle, or those already kicked off the feb bus. But all are welcome expecting bfps in March!

Found the jan bus was a great place to be to discuss the madness that is ttc!

So welcome aboard! Grin

Shinysparklythings 29, ttc#1, cycle 2, bfp due 1st march.

I'm a tad behind so I'm commenting from stuff since the 19th.

juney I actually don't think you should discard the higher temp (your post from 19th) because I think you OV'd on Tuesday, which is great because it means the sperm were there waiting for the egg to pop out from Monday's insertion.

Amyy To screenshot on a Samsung S5 is like on a Note 3 (to be fair I normally use the S-pen with my Note). Swipe your hand (the side of your hand) across the screen from right to left. The border should flash white. The power/home key dealeo doesn't work with them.

Southy84 I can't say it's happened to me personally because I had a marathon flashing smiley-a-thon (7 days before I ran out of sticks), but it's entirely possible. The test uses FMU to measure oestrogen and LH. The flashing starts when your oestrogen starts to rise and goes solid once your LH surges as well.

MrsGingerbread The advanced digital CB are only used in the morning with FMU, not multiple times a day so I'm not sure how you got a solid smiley later the same day?

As for me, 3DPO according to FF. Attached my chart. Symptoms wise I'm feeling mild cramping across my uterus not at all due to new underwear or work pants sitting wrong Aside from that, all quiet on the western front!

babybump With the dual hormone cb digi opk you can test more than once a day after you have got your flashing smiley, to catch peak as soon as possible. You have to have held wee for a long time though, around 4 hours.

This is fairly new, not in my pack instructions but it is on their online instructions for the product.

Amyyy27 · 23/02/2015 22:23

Thanks baby just tried it and it works woohoo!

chasing im having a good giggle i hope they work Grin

Ooo theres gunna be a few of us testing close together! AF/BFP due 7th March... but im a total poas addict and i got 10 free early cheapy tests with my bbt pack so i will no doubt test long before i should Grin

KnitFastDieWarm · 23/02/2015 22:27

Evening all, have been booted off the Feb bus by af and what I suspect was a cp Sad but hey, onwards and upwards!

I need words of wisdom - j have bought some ovulation sticks for the first time this month, any tips of how to get the best from them? Should you use them in the morning like a pregnancy test?

My stats - knitfastdiewarm, 27, ttc #1, cycle 3, bfp due 20th march

chasingtherainbow · 23/02/2015 22:34

Well I've just ended up shouting at dh and am now going to bed. So fucking angry and tired of shouldering all this alone. Another month down the pan. I was so excited to give him a bfp on his birthday and I was so sure it was our month.

Oh well. I'll probably hide this thread now and step away from MN for a bit. I'm really so truly hoping you all get your bfp's this month and take home babies.

Xxxxxx

Amyyy27 · 23/02/2015 22:39

Aww chasing im gutted for you :( ttc is so hard. Youre still in with a chance from saturday so im not ruling you out. I so hope you get your BFP this month xxx

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 23/02/2015 22:49

dizzy tesco were doing 3 4 2 on all the vits last week, not sure how long the deal was on for.
Sorry to hear that chasing but I wish you all the best.
knit depends on what ones you brought, I have the cheapies strips, you use them between 10 am - 8 pm, so I normally test when i get in from work 5-6pm. I have finally got the hang of them, just need to remember not to pee for hours before hand.

Southy84 · 23/02/2015 23:01

Thank you, your comments mean a lot. I don't know why I've waited so long to come and join. It's so hard when every month seems like another disappointment. I hope you're right that timing was right, going to give it Til April then that will be 2 years ttc and may finally crack and go to the Dr. Really really hoping it doesn't come to that. We had tests a few years back and we were told everything was ok, we tried for a couple of years after we had a mc- (unexpected pregnancy but very much wanted) and then decided to stop when we were offered clomid (I think that's what we were offered) we reassessed our situation and decided to wait, and in the meantime got married. Just feel like maybe we made the wrong decision turning down the help at that point and putting things on hold. Now a few years older and may have to start the whole process again. Was told the other day by a friends mum that times not on my side... Was pretty hurt but then again they don't know what we've been through/that we've been trying for a while with no success. x

chasingtherainbow · 23/02/2015 23:48

Southy Flowers that was so insensitive of your friends mum Sad it sounds like this has been a long, hard, stop start journey for you both. . I'm really crossing everything tightly that it happens very soon and I am so so sorry to hear of your loss.

DH found himself a grip and I'm back in the running! Sorry for my little flouncy strop earlier guys (and the blow by blow acc of my night!) ... been waiting so long for this cycle and I think this deep nausea feeling is stress. I know we've done absolutely everything we can now. I'm going to try to focus on getting more rest, eating well (just realised I haven't eaten since lunch) and going to get stuck into my hypnotherapy again to relax.

X

Sparkly123 · 24/02/2015 00:33

Hi all just rejoining if that's ok? Sorry I haven't posted yet I've not been very well but hoping to jump back on the bus now and try and keep up! Sorry not been able to catch up properly with everyone but for those going through the TWW or struggling In general Flowers sending positive thoughts to you. BFPs are on the way!!! I'm cd 7 so starting my opks Tomor and geared up to go this cycle! March is going to be a lucky bus for us all !Grin

coffeenut · 24/02/2015 03:32

Southy, so so insensitive of your friend's mother! Ppl really don't think sometimes.

Good news chasing!

I had a hit of nausea last night as I got into bed and had one of those, oh gosh maybe I really am pregnant (have been dismissing it this month as don't think it will happen). Took a preg test this morning (couldn't resist - stupid) and it was neg so now have been feeling quite glum. Still 8 days until AF due, I guess. I think I will not buy any more tests until Friday.

AbFab86 · 24/02/2015 04:30

Southy - Why do some people think their ridiculously insensitive thoughts need to be aired?! It infuriates me that so many people now don't seem to realise how their actions impact other people. Surely that's what people learn in primary school, if not before? Grrr.

Well not too long til March now everyone! It will be our month! I am willing AF to make an appearance so I know things are vaguely working, then we can start TTC. I was sulking yesterday because I had a headache, then realised I used to get a headache in my week off the pill pre-AF, so then I was happy to have one Grin We'll see!

shinysparklythings · 24/02/2015 05:58

southy everyone has an opinion unfortunately but no one knows what's going on behind closed doors.

chasing glad you managed to seduce him in the end fx!

sparkly and all the others joining is welcome.

I just tested at 10dpo and BFN which isn't really a surprise. Think it's very unlikely this month. Will test again in a couple of days, AF not due till Sunday!

Yay chasing Grin

southy what a silly thing for her to say! I would like to think even if i hadn't gone through mc i have been taught from a young age not to be so thoughtless and would never say something so insensitive so i wonder why others just dont think?

brickiemum2 · 24/02/2015 07:34

Well done chasing fx for you.

Southy84 · 24/02/2015 07:56

Well I had a little cry last night and feeling a bit better today, **shiny you are right people make comments and have no idea what's going on in your life, I should let it go over my head.

**Chasing I've started seeing a hypnotherapist, and have a hypnotherapist cd I listen to each night- do you find it works? I decided to see someone to try to reduce my anxiety levels, and a friend of mines mum (different friend) used to be a midwife and said that apparently stress/anxiety can really affect your chances of getting pregnant. She said she knew of quite a few women who had had successful IVF and a year after their baby was born they fell pregnant naturally. So I'm trying So hard to not stress- which is easier said than done. Got two more sessions with my hypnotherapist (only had one so far) and she's starting to help me with my worries- main one being if I get pregnant again I have a huge fear of having another mc.

Anyway I've been writing far too much! Hope everyone has a nice Tuesday and **chasing I'm
Glad you sorted things with your DH, thanks again everyone for your support. Better get out of bed and get ready for work!

chasingtherainbow · 24/02/2015 08:03

southy it definitely works for me. I started when I was 10 wks preggo with dd. I was shocked how quickly my body zoned into it. I continued all throughout my pregnancy, and then we did hypnobirthing as a couple. I had an incredible birthing experience and pregnancy and think a lot of it was to do with that. I did the postpartum hypnotherapy cds post birth and now I use tracks for anxiety or better sleep when things are difficult for me.

Hmm.. felt less like seducing and more like harassing in the end. It needs to be this month for the simple fact I don't want to do it again for like 6 months lol. Nothing like ttc to ruin sex.

Barely slept last night. Dd was up 2-4.. Then I overslept on my alarm. and I couldn't stop thinking about babies

Southy84 · 24/02/2015 08:11

That's really good to know, I will be sticking with it as it seems to help me sleep- although the exception seemed to be last night! So tired today and typically have a day of meetings!! I have me fx for you chasing.

Hairstylisttoboris · 24/02/2015 09:19

I have been taking pregnancare for the last few months. For the first couple of months it made me really nauseous (which kept giving me false hope of being pregnant). I had been taking it with my evening meal. I now take it at night right as I go to bed, and no nausea. Thought is share the knowledge just in case anyone else has horrible side effects from pregnacare.

nightandthelight · 24/02/2015 09:44

I am back in the land of my laptop so will be updating stats this evening :) CD4 and Ovia says I am in the proliferative stage so visualising a healthy egg (preferably without the genes for my nose). Ovulation still 8 days away but tired of waiting around so think we will start the dtdathon tonight. So excited Grin

AbFab86 · 24/02/2015 09:48

Good luck night! Hoping you get a lovely healthy egg and it is met by some enthusiastic sperm!

tessiegirl · 24/02/2015 09:59

Hi all! Had lots to catch up on! CD15 here and woke up at 6 in the hope we could dtd before DH had to leave for work. He was downstairs working and told me he would be up in a minute (excuse the pun!). Well, I was waiting and waiting and by the time he came up he told me he had to get in the shower. FFS!!!!!!! Angry I just know that by the time he comes home tonight he will be knackered and chances of dtd are nill.

Chasing so pleased your DH got a grip in the end! I may look into Hypnotherapy...sounds nice

pulpi · 24/02/2015 10:33

Hey knit, we saved you a seat!

Jessica85 · 24/02/2015 10:56

Morning all! Chasing, glad your DH sorted himself out. I get proper annoyed at DP when he doesn't seem to understand about timings. He totally bought the sex ed stuff in school - literally told me a couple of weeks ago 'you can get pregnant at any time in your cycle'. Well, no, actually, you have a 5 day window around ov!

Woke up this morning to another bbt increase - another 0.2C on top of my already high temp. Also found out that my local shops don't stock frer! I reckon I'm 8dpo today, so was hoping to test a bit early, but now I think i'll actually have to wait! They had ordinary CB on offer for £3 though, so I defo should have bought a couple in preparation.

Avasmum8 · 24/02/2015 11:29

Hello I am new to this but just wondering if I can join the ttc bus in march? :)

I am already blessed with a 4 year old daughter, but waited another 4 years to try again as went to university then started my new job, fell pregnant without trying august last year which we were happy about then had a mmc at 9 weeks, had the next period in November but decided to wait until march to start again as I get better maternity pay if I wait till then, (although not sure it was worth it) I'm getting impatient and can't wait to get my AF March 6th to start trying! Also my DH brother and his gf have just announced they are pregnant :( which I am happy about but also just desperate to be pregnant again! :) xx
