March bus for those of us who drive right on through feb without stopping!

shinysparklythings · 28/01/2015 07:26

Hope nobody minds, Thought I'd start a march bus especially for those people like me who skip feb out due to it being 28 days and having a 32 day cycle, or those already kicked off the feb bus. But all are welcome expecting bfps in March!

Found the jan bus was a great place to be to discuss the madness that is ttc!

So welcome aboard! Grin

Shinysparklythings 29, ttc#1, cycle 2, bfp due 1st march.

Good morning ladies

Wow this has moved a few pages on, just trying to catch up.

Sorry to see some familiar names from the Feb bus. Mrsgingerbread hope you are feeling a bit better today
sweets that's hilarious Grin

Pillow wise - I did try to use a pillow every time but once DS decided to shout "Muuuuummmmmmmy" at the top of his voice within seconds of finishing so had to jump up and everything probably just fell out - sounds delightful putting it like that! Blush
Yay juney fingers crossed - and for everyone this month.
I'm on CD9 and was planning to dtd every other day from today until weekend (dtd on Valentine's but that was just for fun!) however DH is away Fri/Sat so it may just be twice we manage this month whilst I'm fertile as going from previous months, I should hopefully get my surge around Weds so Tues and Thurs may work.
Obviously it would be fantastic to get my bfp this cycle but will not get my hopes up too much as realise I'm limited in my dtd ability.

nightandthelight · 16/02/2015 08:36

Pretty excited this morning as we are starting our hunt for our future family home by emailed loads of agents! Currently in a two bedro flat with no garden so looking to move to a three bedroom house with a garden :) feels so weird to be checking school catchment areas etc.

nightandthelight · 16/02/2015 08:37

'Emailing' and 'bedrooms'. So excited I can no longer type!

chasingtherainbow · 16/02/2015 08:58

Night that is very exciting!

tessiegirl · 16/02/2015 09:17

Ah night that does sound exciting...it feels 'grown up' looking at school catchment areas, doesn't it?!

Best of luck Juney!

Right, fitness regime started today so off to do a Jillian Michaels workout...Smile

nightandthelight · 16/02/2015 09:23

Ridiculously grown up! Still feel as though I have only just left school Confused

shinysparklythings · 16/02/2015 09:41

Ooh night that is very exciting! Owning your own house is very weird and amazing all at the same time. That's one of the reasons we waited so long to ttc, because we wanted to be in our own home first.

I'm 3dpo and have some cramps, but that's probably because it's all I'm thinking about. It's half term this week so I don't have work to distract me like normal. I'm going to Spain at Easter and slightly panicked that if I do get a bfp I'll be 8 weeks and morning sickness might be an issue!

Do people find opks helpful? I can't chart temp as my sleep is rubbish and would therefore be unreliable, but might give opks a go next time if no bfp this month. Which ones do people use?

Night we've also been looking at houses in the last week! Very exciting! We won't be in a position to put the flat on the market etc until summer at least though so we're just 'window' shopping at the moment. Couldn't sleep though the other night as I was so excited about having a garden and SPACE!!Smile

Morning all! Sorry I've not been around much the last week or so. Been taking a back seat as not much has been going on here.

Cd16 here and I have no idea what is going on, I'm a bit worried tbh. On paper, with a 35 day cycle my fertile period should start today..... However my ewcm started on cd12 the last two cycles and last month I got my positive ok on cd15. This cycle: a teeny bit of ewcm on cd13 and then....... Nothing. Completely bone dry Sad. Had a faint line on opk the same day as ewcm then not even a squinter the last 2 days. Cervix is high but hard. This is totally inconsistent with my usual patterns so I'm now worried I'm having an anovulatory cycle which will be so frustrating as it just happens dp and I gave a week off together and we were planning on dtd loads. Grrrrrr. Fx I'm just going to ov late this month but I'll have shifts getting in the way of dtd next week.

Sorry to come on here and start moaning, just needed to get it off my chest. I hope the rest of you are all doing well Smile

tessiegirl · 16/02/2015 09:47

Errr....haven't done workout yet...been catching up on gossip from Feb bus!!!

shiny I use cheap opks from Amazon, the brand is called One-Step and I find them accurate. I also use the Clearblue Dual Hormone opks and both have always agreed with one another!

Right, now I AM off to workout!

tessiegirl · 16/02/2015 09:53

Oh Dizzy, I saw your post just as I was about to leave...

It is soooooo frustrating when ovulation doesn't happen when you expect/want it to. I seem to ovulate on different days every month. The earliest being day 14 and the latest day 22! Don't forget we always have traces of LH in our urine so that may explain why you had a faint line on opk that day. Hang on in there and I really hope you get your positive very soon Smile

DizzyNorthernBird · 16/02/2015 10:03

Thanks tessie, I hope you're right. It could be that ov was just early the last two months, admittedly AF did arrive early last month too which would make sense. Unfortunately as ovia lost my profile I have no idea of my patterns pre December though as I could have looked back to see when ewcm arrived on months where my cycle was longer.

My only consolation is that at least I'm temping now so if there is a problem my charts will pick up on it the next couple of months.

I'm off for a run to work off my frustrations. tessie, do your workout!! Grin

victoria401 · 16/02/2015 10:23

Benedict's wife is preg? Must have been a shotgun wedding then!

Someone just brought a baby into the tearoom at work Envy do they not know I just started af?!

I rarely prop up bum. We usually dtd late and just want to sleep after not turn myself upsidedown.

shinysparklythings · 16/02/2015 10:31

victoria benedicts wife's pregnancy was announced a few weeks ago!
That is very cruel to bring a baby in when af started!

dizzy I hope that ov is about to happen.

Sorry misunderstanding. Not actually buying just getting a bigger rental property. We live in one of the few areas of the country where prices are still going down so risk of negative equity. Also we hate where we live so hope to be gone in 5-6 years so don't want to settle too much.

DH is keen on emigrating by the time he is 30!

shinysparklythings · 16/02/2015 11:09

Ah, well it's still exciting night and you are right no point buying if you are not planning on staying in the area!
Where does your dh want to emigrate to?

New Zealand. Business Analysts are in short supply there so would be easy to get a visa. Much better quality if life over there too from the research we have been doing :)

MaMaPo · 16/02/2015 11:42

Night, I love NZ. My parents are both kiwis so I've spent a fair bit of time over there visiting family.

Jus poking my nose in really - CD6 here so nothing doing! I'll be back in a few days...

nightandthelight · 16/02/2015 11:44

Thanks MaMa, good to know that it is as nice as we have been reading :) I think we will actually have to visit first though! Just hate the work culture in this country, the only thing that seems to matter is how many hours you put in :(

blondiewoowoo1 · 16/02/2015 11:47

Hi ladies

Just to say I'm coming off the buses for the next couple of months, have been to the Drs this morning and I need to be referred to gynae and have an op and she told me they won't be able to do it if I'm pregnant so has told me to stop until it is all done with. Was due to ovulate this week so am a bit disheartened really and feel sad but hey ho.
Will probably have a catch up every now and then but in a nice way hope not to see any of you on these buses when I come back.
Good luck to you all

nightandthelight · 16/02/2015 11:51

Awww Blondie really sorry to hear that Flowers fx the op goes smoothly and you get your bfp straight after!

Sweets27 · 16/02/2015 12:43

Oh blondie I'm so sorry to hear that, it must be so disheartening. What op do you need? Are you ok? Making sure you're alright is the most important thing, so at least you know you'll be better in a few months' time and can then get back on the TTC bus.

Sweets27 · 16/02/2015 12:46

Ladies, quick Q - I got an NHS letter reminding me to get my next cervical smear and have just booked in for next week. However, it'll be a few days after ov, which I've suddenly realised might be really stupid. Do you think it'll have an impact if I do conceive, like shake the poor little bean out? Has anyone else had a smear test while TTC?

nightandthelight · 16/02/2015 12:48

Hi Sweets I would ring your GP and ask :)

juneybean · 16/02/2015 12:55

Currently bum-pillowing so thought I better add my stats

Juneybean 29 cycle #3 TTC #1 test date: 1st march

chasingtherainbow · 16/02/2015 13:11

blondie I hope you are okay? Xx
