Haha chasing I'm still not entirely sure but think my cycle is 33 days and when Af arrived in January I remember shouting at people '33 days! That means less than 12 fucking chances a year!'. Not sure what they were supposed to do about it

chasingtherainbow · 09/02/2015 09:18

Haha snoopy hells yeah.

I am going to get pregnant this month and it's going to stick. I've got a pram to fill damnit!

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 09/02/2015 10:04

My cycles are 33 days. They used to be 45! Thank goodness I got pg on cycle 2 with dd or it would have taken forever...

chasingtherainbow · 09/02/2015 10:09

Exactly guy! I'm on cycle 19 now for this very reason.

CarrotPuff · 09/02/2015 10:10

Baby bombed at work, I know she's been through all this herself so genuinely happy for her. But I can't stop the tiny silent tears, think I mihjt have to go home and hide from the world

Hugs northdown
Hope all goes well carrot
Glad your cycle is looking good chasing hope its the last one for a while Wink

Well this morning I've woken up quite positive with a 'what will be' attitude. I'm lucky with my ds and need to focus on that. I am in some pain in sides but thought ovulation had passed so a bit confused and had heartburn after Indian last night. So relaxed, but still symptom spotting. ....

chasingtherainbow · 09/02/2015 12:59

"Relaxed but still symptom spotting" Grin

We are child free on Friday so a bit gutted ill probably still be bleeding then. The next 4 weeks feel like an eternity. But I know the weeks following a bfp will be even worse so here's what I'm thinking. I'm going to take it in week stages. So this week I am on my period. And i will ride this out. I'm focusing on diet - vitamins- good sleep this week. Also ditching the daily diet fizz Blush and upping my water big time.

Anything else I could do? Might get my hypnotherapy tracks back out and also resolve to up my fresh air

mrsdiddlydoo · 09/02/2015 13:38

Hope the scan went ok carrot

Struggling with a very sensitive toddler this morning.

Just this week to get through then going away with friends. AF is due at the weekend. Trying not to symptom spot esp as don't think I ov'd.

ReverseTheTrend · 09/02/2015 14:37

Hope all went ok carrot

Rang GP to get test results for vaginal swab. Not urgent but see GP. Can't get appointment until Friday. Am now in super anxiety mode dreMing up what might be wrong

CarrotPuff · 09/02/2015 16:01

Thank you for your support lovelies.

Scan went well. No tissue left, all gone. So it's probably hormones taking their time to leave my body. Bastards. I have to POAS again on Fri. They even gave me 2 tests, but I had to wait for them for an hour! Confused So more waiting... Really fed up with it now.

I should really stop moaning as so many of you had it way harder. But I just want to move on and can't!

They also found a cyst in my right ovary. However, it looks normal and it doesn't cause me any pain, so they are not concerned about it. I would have not even known about it if not the scan.

On an exciting note, I think I've got thrush Confused The joys of being a woman!

CarrotPuff · 09/02/2015 16:10

A baby sleeping on you... the most divine feeling in the world... You'll have your own baby sleeping on you MrsC!

Sorry that ugly witch got you, Allqueens... Flowers

Yay for AF chasing! (isn't it amazing how the same things make ones sad and others happy? AF, BFPs...)

Sorry you're struggling north, hugs for you Flowers

MrsEvansAlmost · 09/02/2015 16:15

carrot glad the scan went well, onwards and upwards from here! I got thrush the week before I found out I was pg the only thing that made me.test as never had it before!

am I tempting fate by buying 2 prams off Facebook? ones a first start pram the other is a push chair. my sister is giving me one but I'm starting to understand the continuous need to buy and change prams!

chasingtherainbow · 09/02/2015 16:36

Carrot that is excellent news that your scan is clear and that means you really are "close to the end now" .. keep strong my love. It is such an incredibly hard time.

Evans how are you feeling in yourself? Save the money on the prams and buy maternity clothes first. Then when you are 20 weeks or so go to a big store and play around with the prams first. You won't need to swap and change if you thoroughly research first. I realise this may sound hypocritical given me earlier post about pram buying but to explain. . I have a v small car and can only fit one type of pram in it (that Is suitable from birth +) but it's a vvvv expensive brand. I grabbed it at less than half retail price complete with everything so it was buy it now or risk changing the car in future because 900 quid on a buggy is flipping ridiculous

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 09/02/2015 16:39

Overall that's good news though carrot.
I'm still mostly torn about whether to ttc this month but I'm leaving towards taking a break. Things are precarious at work and I really don't want to find myself pregnant and unemployed. For the sake of a couple of months (after which things might be clearer), it seems silly to be in such a rush.
A 3-4 year age gap wouldn't be so bad, right? DD is 2 and a half now. If last pregnancy had worked out, that baby would have been born a few months before dd turned 3. Now we'll be looking at at least 3 and a half. Is that so terrible?

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 09/02/2015 16:42

MrsE it's worth thinking about exactly what you need from a buggy. We got a travel system for dd and it was totally unnecessary. We walked her plenty in the buggy and she went in the car, but not once did we transfer her from one to the other! Next time I'll go with a quality sling and a cheap last-forever buggy. I've got a McLaren that I got off eBay that might work for a newborn so will use that next time. Dd still goes in it sometimes too.

chasingtherainbow · 09/02/2015 16:43

Guy I really don't think so. We started to ttc when dd was 2 and I was getting so worried about the huge gap but actually, the older she gets I realise how much easier it'll be. She's 3.5 now so even if I catch now there will be a 4+ gap and actually I'm looking forward to it :-) age gaps don't matter. My sister who is 2 years younger than me.. We never talk... my sister who is 10 yrs older is one of my closest friends even though we fought like cat and dog growing up

chasingtherainbow · 09/02/2015 16:44

Sorry things aren't any clearer at work Flowers

MrsEvansAlmost · 09/02/2015 17:14

guy the travel system I've seen is a 3 in one, pram carry cot and push chair and a car seat all for 35£ the safety rating on the car seat is really good and I've got decent boot space the only requirement when choosing the car so I can get a Labrador and baby things in the back!

chasing I feel really good minus the bloating, pains and tiredness I've been feeling pretty good!/I start the day feeling sick but it doesn't last very long. nipples have started to go a lot darker too (tmi sorry) so I'm a bit more settled that bean is sticking!

I'm glued to every app that tells you exactly what's happening and when. this time Wednesday I will have been pg for the longest time (mc happened at 6+6 weeks) this is a nervy week.

thinking about you ladies lots. saw a shooting star the other night I can't tell you my wish but I'm sure you can guess. and it wasn't about my sticky bean! Thanks

chasingtherainbow · 09/02/2015 17:47

Eep. Please don't buy 2nd hand car seat Mrs evans- it's just not worth the risk (car seat safety is a huge thing for me in my job)

Which app are you using? So glad you are feeling well x

MrsEvansAlmost · 09/02/2015 18:27

no not getting the car seat from Facebook getting the same one new as I've read good things about it! wouldn't ever out bean in something I couldn't trust!
