ginger did your gp arrange your counselling?

I might try again after lunch. I guess I do drink a lot before bed. I had a glass of squash, a cup of tea and a green smoothie in the hour and a half before bed. But everything I've ever read insists fmu can't lie.

gingerbreadmam · 06/02/2015 10:50

my test last night and second mu produced stronger results than the one with my fmu. i peed at 10.30pm 12.30am 3.00am and 5.30am when i did the test. i could have easily binned the one with fmu thinking theres nothing on it!

mine is through work but it is really beneficial.

CarrotPuff · 06/02/2015 11:18

Snoopy I would ignore that middle one. Personally I wouldn't test again today, it's so early you'll send yourself looping trying to read all those faint lines. I know it's hard but I'd wait a few days and test again.

Got a call back from EPU and they've arranged a scan on Monday. I don't know why they can't just do a blood test to see what the levels are first? Maybe it's because they never confirmed mc themselves, it was more what I've told them.

MrsEvansAlmost · 06/02/2015 12:03

congratulations ginger Thanks Thanks

gingerbreadmam · 06/02/2015 12:26

thanks mrsevans how r u getting on?

TeenieDeenie · 06/02/2015 12:32

Carrot I'm sorry you're struggling with your levels, I was similar. My mc started on 15th Dec, as I was still testing positive I was scanned on 5th Jan to check everything had passed, turns out it had but my levels were taking a long time to drop. I still tested positive on 12th Jan (4 weeks later), it was faint but it was still there. Getting a scan is the best thing for everyone. They can confirm mc and can also check that everything has come out and inside has returned to normal. If not, they will help you. Hugs. x

MrsEvansAlmost · 06/02/2015 13:12

nervous to say the least ginger! knicker checking after every cough sneeze and splutter! 12 weeks is such a long period of time to wait to confirm a more likely sticky bean!

realty grouchy and crampy today to work had me out until 11 and up and out the door at 7 this morning and not getting g home tonight until 10 wish either! don't want to tell work I'm up the duff yet because I reckon they will get funny and take work off me because they are shits!!

how are you getting on lovely? x

mrsdiddlydoo · 06/02/2015 13:49

snoopy it takes me ages to get a dark result on a hpt. Not sure about the middle one but the other 2 are clear bfps! Step away from the tests and try again in a few days time. You have little control over what happens next.

I'm sorry people are having rubbish times testing. The things we do to ourselves.

carrot did you call epu? What did they say? I think they should check you out. Oh i've just realised I've missed a whole page of the thread. A scan is good. They just want to take a look at what's going on in there. Blood test won't tell them how thick your lining is or if anything still remains.

Only 3 hours 13minutes till the weekend... Only 8/9 days till af is due. God.

gingerbreadmam · 06/02/2015 13:53

thats not good about work mrse those are some long days. poor thing. try not to worry too much. easier said than done i know but worrying wont get us anywhere.

everytime a worry creeps into my mind i quickly think of druggies and alcoholics that have babies no problem and think theres no reason anything should go wrong u were just a statistic. awful but settles me a bit.

i sooo want to buy this snowman suit in the next sale. how do people feel about buying baby things?

MrsEvansAlmost · 06/02/2015 14:11

thanks ginger I hadn't thought of our v that way!!

I've bought scratch MIT's and a few muslins! nothing over board but just something I can look at!! dp refused to let me get a really warm snugly cost until we know what we are having! ( I bought it on white the next day sticks tounge out at dp)!!

gingerbreadmam · 06/02/2015 14:31

the snowman suit seems such a bargain and so cute and available in gingerbreadbaby size haha!

I really wanted to buy something last time and didn't and when things went wrong I felt cheated that I hadn't bought anything and that dp would not take me for a wander around babies are us! I did buy my mam a novelty changing mat that says 'get off candy crush and clean my butt' - very fitting.

I know people say you jinx things but really? sounds like you have had fun buying a few cute bits and bobs Smile

CirrusClouds · 06/02/2015 17:24

Felt like a name-change- formerly known as mollym!

Thank Crunchie it's Friday...

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 06/02/2015 18:01

mrse and ginger DH bought a pram and cot before the miscarriage so i don't think you're getting ahead of yourselves haha

I know it's naughty but I did another first response and another boots test after lunch. The boots test is darker than the earlier one and there's a line on the first response that even my DM could see (because I went round to hers crying clutching five tests ConfusedHmm) she thinks it's because I work shifts, have to admit my chest hurts more at night than in the morning. Do you that could be it?

It's really freaked me out but my new inspector also told me she's had a miscarriage before so at least she doesn't think I'm a complete loony tune haha

gingerbreadmam · 06/02/2015 18:33

i took mine to my mam last nite then sent her photo this morning lol! sounds to me like u r pregnant snoopy congrats!

did he? least he got excited. my dp today is saying were not telling anyone he doesnt believe it and has argued with me most of the day well week, not baby related tho. i thought he would drop it today seen as tho we have good news Grin

CirrusClouds · 06/02/2015 19:13

Phew snoopy!! Now take a break from the poas-ing, okay?!

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 06/02/2015 19:51

Sorry, haven't been following for a couple of days but I smell BFPs! Massive congratulations.

gingerbreadmam · 06/02/2015 21:07

mines tentative i think guy until af is late as it is so feint but thank you. i am in shock i think!

CarrotPuff · 06/02/2015 23:26

Snoopy and ginger congrats! I hope the next 2 months fly by for you.

That BFP this morning hit me quite hard. I was so convinced it would be a BFN. It was some consolation to me that it all happened naturally and I didn't need any interventions, and that I also didn't have to wait for it to happen. Now I keep thinking there's something left so I'll need ERPC. It will be 4 weeks on Monday since mc and all for nothing.

Oh and I would have been 12 weeks on Monday, and possibly even having a scan. I just want to hide in a cave and cry...

Sorry for the doom and gloom after such wonderful news... Sad

gingerbreadmam · 07/02/2015 06:15

oh carrot it sounds like u r having a hard time. try not to worry too much until u know more. i read sometimes it jus takes a while for your hormones to drop.

im sure if theres only a tiny amound left they just let it come away with your next af.

i know i drags it out longer for u and will put ttc back but u will get there. hope ur ok, thinking of u Thanks

chasingtherainbow · 07/02/2015 07:14

Oh carrot :( i know exactly how you are feeling. I remember taking a test 3 weeks later and and desperately wanting a bfn so we could ttc and when I got the strongest positive I'd had my heart just broke. I went on to find a new pregnancy on my tube and it took 6 weeks for a bfn. It just felt like so long. My mc took longer to end than my pregnancy had lasted.

Nothing but Flowers to offer xxx

chasingtherainbow · 07/02/2015 07:21

Today I am officially 3 months post methotrexate. Due on in the next 2 days (it better bloody come on time!) Then let the ttc commence!

MrsEvansAlmost · 07/02/2015 07:57

go chasing! have fun DTD!! Wink Wink Grin Grin

CarrotPuff · 07/02/2015 08:48

Thank you ladies. I can't stop overthinking and worrying about what comes next. I guess it didn't help that when they called me from EPU they said we will discuss my "options" after the scan - as if they already know something?

You know what I googled yesterday? "Can you have a mc and still be pregnant?" This is so stupid. I don't even know what made me go that. I never held out any hope, I know I had a mc, if has never crossed my mind before yesterday. I don't have any reasons to believe I could still be pg whatsoever. Yet it seems that BFP (which was very faint although visible enough) has sent my mind running wild into lala land.

Yay chasing, go girl!

chasingtherainbow · 07/02/2015 08:54

Yep been there also. Convinced myself I'd maybe lost a twin but was still pregnant etc. Longest 2 days to the scan ever. A mess I was. I hope everything is resolved quickly xxxxxx

I also wasted my last frer to poas this morning. Don't even ask me why !

Romeolovesjuliet · 07/02/2015 09:21

carrot they told me 3-4 weeks for a BFN at my EPU yesterday so who knows maybe you just need a few more days.
Scan went well - the sonographer said nothing other than sit outside and I will tell the Dr you need to see her so I was convinced I was going to need the ERPC. But when I saw the Dr she said my lining has thinned right down and although there is a tiny bit left (they're not sure if it's a bit of tissue or just a clot) they are happy that things will just settle with next AF. So I don't have to go back - sooo relieved. Now I just have to patiently (ha!) wait for AF so we can get going again.
