Clomid CD6, cycle number 3, ttc #3...looking for buddies :)

My title pretty much sums me up....anyone else in the throws of ttc on clomid?

I'm TTC#2, on clomid cycle 2. #1 was conceived naturally but my cycles have varied from 50-93 days since with no ovulation signs, was grateful to receive clomid. I'll have been trying a year next month. I ovulated 1st cycle. I'm just starting the 2ww and pretty tired from the DTD efforts! Used preseed this month as not a hint of EWCM, think I've been affected by clomid in that regard. I'll use EPO if not successful this month too. (Thanks Blueberry for the hint)

nomio we've chatted on another thread, have you embarked on tww too or are you still in DTD territory? I'm away with friends this weekend so hoping it will fly by (it won't!)

monkey sorry for the BFN, has AF come or have you tested again today?

thunder you definitely shouldn't be paying. I'm in NW England and TTC #2, it's not even been a year and I was referred to Gyno for clomid due to crazy cycles. I have been advised though if clomid doesn't work, NHs won't help me anymore as I already have a child.

I've been a few days away so my 2ww has been quite relaxed, till now. I'll test next saturday, but I started with the symptoms. Yesterday I felt a new one! I had like sharp stabbing pain in my cervix, it lasted less than a minute, but obviously the first thing a did when I got home was too google it, and guess what? It may mean pregnancy, or not. Thanks again google.

Has anybody experienced anything like it?

Hi can anybody help me, I'm going crazy! I Started clomid this cycle day 2-6 I then went for my HSG test on cd12 and was told the pregnancy test was positive although I'd not had sex since before my period as was told not to prior to the hsg test. They did a blood test which showed my hcg level was 48 which confirmed a positive pregnancy. I then had them repeated 48 hrs later which confirmed what I though was my last period must have been a miscarriage as my hcg leve was now 24 :(
So I'm now on cd18 and still not had a smiley face on my opk but the line is getting slightly darker each day.
I'm going crazy incase I've missed it or that I'm not going to ovulate at all or whats going on
I'm still so confused from getting a positive hpt in the first place prior to my tubes being checked.

Any response or experiences would be great xx

Hi heather, I had a cp in June & bled (very lightly) for about a month after. After that finished, I had a normal cycle.

I think everyone is different when it comes to hormones, but the fact that the lines are getting darker each day seems hopeful. Don't give up!

I keep reading that most people ovulate between 5-10 days after their last Clomid pill and I'm 12 days past now so just getting anxious.
Also on the tues 2 days prior to my planned hsg test I had an uss and the sonographer said I had a good amount of follicules on my left ovary which measured 1.0 that was on cd10 is that a good size? X

Hi Nomio230. Sorry I'm a bit confused. So you had your HSG before or after your first round of Clomid?

Anyway don't give up, I ovulated 13 days after the las clomid (days 2-6). If the lines are getting darker probably is because you are getting there.

I started clomid as they couldn't get me in for my hsg initially but then they rang with a cancellation, luckily we'd not had sex. X

Hi all, new consultant was lovely and said yes! Then lectured re weight but still trying to lose it anyway. Only got home and started doing the maths and if I conceived on second cycle it would be a December baby and DD is a jan baby so it would be an expensive time so part of me thinks wait and the other part thinks go for it!

Just waiting for AF then we will start. Last time on cycle two, the one that worked, I took day 14 off and had a massage to reduce cortisol levels. I have no idea if there is any scientific basis to this but it was a damn good excuse! Really tempted to do it again but am only just back at work and I would need to arrange childcare but it would be lovely!

Hi squeaky that is really good new. I would say to start trying now, as you don't know how long it could take. I have a niece & nephew with birthdays a week apart & we just have a joint party for them.

heather What cd are you on? I have ovulated 3/4 days late the last 2 months & it drove me crazy waiting, so can sympathise. Fx for your smiley face!

heather so sorry to hear about your mc and hope you get your smiley face soon, the darker lines are a positive. I was the same when I read you should ov 5-9 days after last tablet but I didn't ov until 13 days after (cd 19) so don't give up hope yet.

bovnydazzler and nomio fingers x for your 2ww, it definately is the worst because you can't do anything but wait and your right it goes so slowly

donottellmetorelax that's really exciting and something I haven't yet come across so it possibly may be implantation, fingers and toes x

squeaky I have never heard about massages before, what did that involve? My sisters both were born in April and they love being close together and being able to celebrate together so go for it.

I am on cd18 Heather, so very similar to you. Luckily I have quite short cycles, about 26/27 days, so only another week to go. I am sure the days will fly by (not)

I have a two year old chattering away to me so I am not able to concentrate enough to read everyone details properly. I got the general jist. I'm glad we can off load here!

I hope you are all doing well and are finding some kind coping techniques...I am sure I am not the only one who finds clomid physical, mental and emotional hell! I took a week off my obsessive googling. It was getting on top of me.

Well I last dtd on cd12 PM and ovulated cd14 AM. Hubby was too 'tired' to dtd cd13 and then we had a big fight on the day i ovulated. He was being an ass, he admitted it and apologised, but that won't fixed this cycle. LOL. Oh the joys. I am convinced this cycle is a bust and I will be amazed otherwise.

If I get a BFN at the end of the month my consultant has said I can arrange a review appointment for anything other than clomid. It makes me so depressed. Anyone else get really depressed?

I'm even more confused now with this stupid cycle, I could cry!
Still no smiley face and the lines seem to be getting fainter now, they're practically non existent on the eBay cheapie opk and much fainter on the clearblue digital.

What the hell is going on? Maybe I should go and get my progesterone bloods done next week which will confirm. We have been dtd every other day since cd14 but daren't stop just incase lol I'm knackered :(

Hi heather, so sorry to hear you are still so confused. I would get a blood test if possible so you will know whether or not you did ov. If you didn't, then maybe you need to up your dose. I know it is hard, but I am sure you will get your bfp eventually.

Sorry you're going through ovulation stress heather, it's exhausting and frustrating keeping it up. I'd ignore the average that you would ovulate 5-9 days after pills end, everyone is different. I think my ovulation occurred 10-11 days after on cd day 19-20. Have you been doing OPKs twice a day? I only got a positive pm on cd 18, it was negative in on cd18 morning and cd19 morning so it is possible to miss it. However I second nomio in requesting bloods to check you did ovulate to review dosage, you're on the lowest dose at mo is that right?

mylittle sorry your husband wasn't in a DTD mood that is so frustrating, especially if you're contending with clomid symptoms. There is a good chance you may have caught it though on the cd12 DTD, you're not out yet.

missmonkey sorry you had AF. Good luck with cycle 2. Did you have ovulation signs on cycle 1? If not I'd go back to your consultant to request tests to check dose is right.

I'm 5dpo, no symptoms yet but wouldn't expect any at this point. Less bloating than first clomid cycle after ovulation so I'm happy about that. We DTD for fun rather than TTC yesterday, it was nice just to do it without worrying about baby making!

Ive just got my smiley face- day 22 we dtd Thursday night and tonight, I'm thinking of getting him to nip home in his lunch hour tomorrow as I'm on a night shift tomorrow night, typical!! :( what do you think? Xx
