Well as the title says :) I've chosen the worst time to get my act together and start my diet (again!!) I'm well overweight, in fact in classed as obese so I need to lose a tonne of weight. I know I need to be a healthy weight to conceive so there isn't much more of a motivator than the hope if a BFP :) I'm just counting calories until Christmas Eve (when we have our traditional Xmas eve meal of good old McDonalds!) and then back on track on the 27th when I will be returning to Slimming World.
If anyone fancies joining me, or even just to give me a kick up the arse, feel free :)

Happy New Year :) I bought the 30 Day Shred DVD and some weights, so gonna crack that out today! Let's do this ladies!

Pixa · 01/01/2015 11:28

Happy New Year ladies. We have so much rubbish food left from Christmas! I am packing it all away today.

jelly, I will happily join you with the 30 Day Shred! Smile,

I am going to ask DH to take some photos and measurements at starting point and every two weeks to keep me motivated!

booboobeedoo11 · 01/01/2015 13:49

Happy New Year! We still have a few 'gatherings' left so the 5th is gona be my fresh start. I love kettlebells and thought they really helped me tone and lose weight last time but I can't always get to the classes so I'm thinking I might buy one and just do it in the house. Plus we cancelled our gym membership as we're a bit strapped at the moment so it'll be kettlebells in the house and long walk/jogs with the dog. Actually really looking forward to this now!

McFunky · 01/01/2015 20:51

Can I join? I want to lose weight before TTC, hopefully autumn this year. I have 4 stones to lose.

Happy New Year all!

itssangriaoclock · 01/01/2015 20:58

I've started today, been v good. Even avoided KFC when work went to the drive through at lunch time. Going to make chicken noodle soup for dinner tomorrow.

Porridge for breakfast and maybe jacket potato for lunch.

Good luck everyone 0lb

Also need to buy scales before the 8th. I weighed myself Christmas Day so I'll take that as a starting weight

honeysucklejasmine · 01/01/2015 21:11

We're going to do it girls! If we did today, we can do tomorrow, and the day after, and the day after that.

We can all be skinny yummy mummies this year! Grin

itssangriaoclock · 01/01/2015 21:43

Yes we will honey

Good idea pixa not sure I would want to see those numbers written down. Coming to the end of my tww now only time will tell.

Whatever the outcome I still need to drop at least a stone, or if miracles do happen stay the same rather than pile the weight on like I did with ds

Stay in touch everyone let us all know how things are going

honeysucklejasmine · 01/01/2015 22:56

Think I'll join you in the 30 day shread. The Jillian Michaels one is on YouTube so i will chromecast it to the telly. Dh might join me, he was mentioning doing some more exercise.

spamanderson · 02/01/2015 09:12

Hi all! Well I got my BFFP (big flippin faint positive!) last night :) massive shock it happened so quick :) started my weighing today, I won't reveal my current weight as I'm too ashamed but I am thrilled I only gained 1lb over Christmas and I ate like a pig! Diet starts for me today :) slimming world and gentle exercise, nothing harsh or full on :)

Congratulations

jellypi3 · 02/01/2015 10:03

Congrats spam :)

Just Did my fist day of the 30 day shred, did level one. My god it was hard. I'm sweating so much! Got to be good right? It's really intense though so I will deffo stop if u get a BFP.

MindfulBear · 02/01/2015 10:26

congrats spamanderson

jellypi3 - congrats on starting the 30DS. you probably wont need to stop the exercise if you get a BFP - but check with your GP - because the 30DS exercise routine is probably not long enough to create dangerous conditions in your body. however depends if you have other risk factors.

When I was pregnant with DS1 I was told to do some excercise every day (ie raised heart rate for 30-60 minutes 7 days a week) and to stay weight neutral over the whole pregnancy, which I think means I should have lost weight in the 1st trimester because I struggled to not put any weight on during the latter stages of trimester 2 and failed completely in trimester 3!!!!!!

So next time I am going to continue to diet & exercise sensibly in trimester 1 to ensure I have room to manoevre in the rest of the pregnancy.... fingers crossed.

Congrats spam! Great news Smile

LakeOfDreams · 02/01/2015 12:01

Hey I'd love to join this sounds exactly what I need to keep me motivated in 2015. I have a lot to lose, I lost about 5 stone just through healthy eating but over about two years I regained 3 stone. In an ideal world I'd like to lose about 6 stone but I have a whole range of little goals. My first is to get back to my pre pregnancy weight which is only a few more pounds away. Then I want my BMI to get down to 30 (currently 34.2)

I had a really crap 2014 after the stillbirth of our PFB in August. New year, new attitude and new determination to be healthier and TTC #2.

McFunky · 02/01/2015 13:20

Congrats spamanderson, what a lovely way to start the year :)

Pixa · 02/01/2015 13:34

LakeofDreams Flowers. I love the 'new year, new attitude and new determination' Smile

So, my exercise regime hasn't started yet! It will do later today. I am having a lovely chana masala for tea, and I have raspberry and vanilla overnight oats, with chia seeds, in the fridge, ready for breakfast tomorrow.

tootsroots · 02/01/2015 13:36

Just bought 30 day shred!!! but seem to have injured my foot last week so seeing physio on Monday..
Bought so many veg from Ocado and a new set of scales.

Cant even fit into my ' BIG' jeans now. Need to focus.

Loving being at 0lb!

Good luck ladies!!!

honeysucklejasmine · 02/01/2015 14:17

Congrats Spam!

So sorry to hear that Lake. Flowers You have a great attitude and congratulations on being so close to pre pregnancy weight.

My belly hurts. I seem incapable of remembering that i am intolerant to eggs. cheap colonic irrigation though

Beanbag41 · 02/01/2015 14:38

Ah congratulations Spam Smile brilliant news!

Lake, that is terrible news! I'm so sorry you've been through that, I can't imagine how you begin to cope. Hope 2015 brings you all the happiness in the world

As for me, went for a long walk with kids and even resisted sharing a slice of cake with them. Feeling much more positive with you all!

bluewisteria · 02/01/2015 16:12
