Glad you are feeling better lulu one word of advice from me, get your maternity pads, then get more, and more and more and more... I completely underestimated how many I would need even though I have birth before I was wearing 2 on top of each other the first day and was soaking through then quickly

How's the sickness cupcake?

I made the same mistake with DS Ducky! I didn't buy enough maternity pads at all! And had to ask mil to go buy me some!! Haha!
And aawwww bless ur DS! He typed 'Jim' !! Maybe he's trying to tell u he wants to be called Jim baby Jim!
And the sickness is a bit worse today but I've brought some ginger biscuits see if they help :) can't believe I'm pregnant, its just so great !! Haha!

Tori after sickness has gone you'll change your mind, we must be programmed to forget. I felt exactly the same but now I'm feeling better it seems easier than it was.

Ha with ds I bled like a normal period (maybe even less) for about 4-5 days and that was it, so maternity pads were ridiculous!

I thought I was being clever this time by getting two packs of 'slim' maternity pads, I went through 3/4 packs of hospital maternity pads, dm had to get me 4 more packs and I just got through and started a new pack of the 'slim' ones... All in 8 days!

I think I had crazy hormones as I felt very down at the end of my pregnancy and very very touchy the days after but I am starting to feel like my old self again now and me and h have got on today

I'm at my new job tomorrow! :) will be doing Wednesdays and Fridays. But it's a 9-5 job! It's been a while since ive done a shift like that! But nervous as ive been feeling rele nauseous! So I'm taking some ginger biscuits

I am lying on the sofa watching 'The Missing' and I am having those tightenings again. DH can feel them if he puts his hands on the bump. It is an odd feeling but not painful, just tightenings.

Am I practising?

As long as they aren't coming every 5 minutes it's just braxton hicks Lulu :) I remember getting them and ur belly goes all hard, it's bery strange!

Sounds like bh lulu, if you are worried time how often they are coming.
But I think if anything was happening you would feel it

I'm sure it isn't anything significant but it is strange when it happens. DH thinks he will stay awake 'just incase'

I'm not staying awake. I hardly slept last night and did a 12 hour stint at work. Am planning on a good night's sleep.

'I'll stay awake Lu incase you go into labour and I'll wake you up.' Does he think I won't know?

Anyway, I have got lots to do at work before I leave so baby can't come this week.

I need to be there by 7.15 tomorrow to get things done before my team meeting. One of my staff is off this week- exhausted His wife says he is too exhausted to set work for his classes so I am doing that. I took his bottom set in with my class today rather than them have a supply teacher who looked about 75. They would have eaten him whole. I sent him to get himself a cup of tea. He looked relieved.

Just quickly posting (will read up in a bit), had my 20 week scan today and all is well. They also confirmed the sex as a girl, so feeling confident that is right now.

Thanks Ducky, the was my final milestone in my head before I can accept that everything's developing ok. I know there are still risks but that scan is a big relief.

Lulu I think I felt BH a few weeks ago, seemed a bit early for me though but it was like what you've said tightenings. How much longer have you got now?

And I'm feeling awful now haha! I feel sick I have a backache and I'm exhausted :( but im still so happy im pregnant!! :) :)

Ducky job was good!! Rather enjoyed it today! :) so much stuff goes on in a doctors surgery and the people are so nice! Love it! :)

Hope I'm the next in queue for my bfp

I am full of energy today. Can't understand why. Have done loads of work, been shopping tonight, had a bath and made DH work hard to persuade me to DTD.

He is now looking rather smug and sleepy whereas I am wide awake.

Needless to say, he didn't stay awake last night incase I went into labour. He slept like a log. I could have given birth next to him and he wouldn't have woken up.

See consultant and midwife tomorrow afternoon.

Lulu a burst energy towards the end of pregnancy can sometimes mean labour is about to happen! :)

21 I hope u get that BFP this month! When are u due for testing?

I've woken up at 4:30am and thrown up looks like I won't be escaping the Ms monster! But I'm now lay here and have some cramps and it's worrying me I knew there would come a point where I would start to worry but I was hoping it wouldn't be just yet. so I'm just sitting up in bed for a bit to see if it goes. It seems to be easing off.

Try not to worry Cupcake. I had cramps until I was about 10 weeks- just felt like AF was about to arrive all the time. Not getting sleep doesn't help with worrying either.
