Still here, still struggling on, still hoping to get there in the end. Come on ladies, we'll all get our BFPs in 2015 (if not before)!

Also Burning get along to your GP to get the ball rolling with testing etc as it can be a long process and you never know, it may prompt the law of sod into action with your BFP. Smile

Welcome burning, I'm sorry you have to join us but hopefully you'll find the support on here useful. I agree you should see your GP as soon as possible, fertility tests on the NHS can take months!

That's good news about your appointment goodegg, sounds like the consultant wasn't too worried which must be a good sign. And 19th is only two weeks away, though I know only too well how long that can seem.

I think I'm having some side effects from the soy this cycle, took it CD3-7 this time instead of 4-8. I suspect my sudden hornyness earlier this week was down to that, and today (CD10) I'm having some pain in my ovary region, though cm is still creamy. It would be nice if I ov'd a bit early this month (less waiting around!), but we shall see.

That does sound like a reassuring message from your GP Goodegg, hopefully when you get to see the consultant they'll be able to reassure you even more. I'm doing ok thanks, wavering between feeling positive and paranoid..

Sounds like the B50 is doing something, I found taking evening primrose oil settled my cycles quite a bit and I think lengthened my LP by a day or two.

Hello Burning definately make an appointment to get your 21 day and 3-5 day bloods checked. They were happy to do mine straight away even though it hadn't been a year at the time.

BurningGubbins · 06/02/2015 16:39

Thanks all. I think I've just felt that going to the doctor means admitting there must be something wrong...
I'm a very calm and collected, in-control kind of person so it's driving me mad that I can't control this!

BurningGubbins · 06/02/2015 16:49

Oh, by the way, do you think it should be a joint appointment and my husband should be getting tests at this point too?

Interested in hearing how the soy pans out Metal. Hadn't heard of it until I came on here - so much to learn!

LittlePoot · 06/02/2015 16:57

Hello burning. Sorry you're joining us but welcome. I agree it's worth getting checked out with the gp asap but annoyingly, what a lot of us have found is that there isn't actually anything wrong and we've been left with 'unexplained' infertility. Which is a bit pants. I'm a bit older than you (just about to turn.... I can't even bring myself to say it. It has an 0 in it but no more 3s....), so I pretty much got told I was too old and even ivf was not very likely to work. Thing is, I was 33 when I first started trying for ds so it's not like I left it too late -things just haven't worked out the way they were supposed to one way or another.

Didn't realise you were still taking the soy metal -have you been talking it every month. I haven't tried it yet. Maybe I should, but messing with hormones always makes me nervous. Although if we could afford ivf I suppose if have been mucking about with more than just a few days of soy. Maybe I'll get some in for next month. I'll have to go back and look up the instructions.

LittlePoot · 06/02/2015 16:58

Sorry, just seen your other message. Yes - your other half definitely needs testing too. Its a joy.

Metalhead · 06/02/2015 18:13

As little says, the result of any tests might well show that there's nothing wrong with you (which is actually just as bad as being told there is a problem!). Or it might be something that's easily treatable. Either way, I too am a bit of a control freak so felt I had to at least exhaust all the options. And definitely get your DH checked too.

little this is my 3rd soy cycle, though I had a break from it before Christmas. I'm not sure it's going to help me as I seem to be ovulating naturally, but it thought it might help strengthen the eggs. So far it's only given me really bad ov pains each month!

Hi burning, this is a lovely thread, all in the same boat! A real relief to be able to talk to others about it.
Goodegg that does sound encouraging, crossing everything for you. I'm sure if they were worried they'd be straight in there.
I'm due on Monday (I think, timing could all be off after mc), debating poas tomorrow as I can't bear the waiting. Had quite a lot of discharge (tmi, sorry Confused) and got a weird tickly sensation in uterus area but as always could be completely unrelated. To pee or not to pee, that is the question.... My sister had her 24 week scan today and found out she's having a girl, can't help having a few pangs. Haven't steeled myself to ring hospital to cancel sodding midwife appointment yet but must do that. Maybe just email. Grrrrr.
Still feel like Feb will be a good month for us, ladies, not sure why, just due some more bfps! X

LittlePoot · 07/02/2015 07:26

CHendy - definitely pee! I always think it's easier to find out rather than let my imagination get the better of me. Good luck!

CHendy78 · 07/02/2015 07:56

Might have to tomorrow, will pick up a test today! Too impatient x

JassyRadlett · 07/02/2015 18:35

Fingers crossed, CHendy!

Have been rubbish at keeping up with the thread but am now at the point of the TWW where every bit of possible car sickness or tiredness gets my imagination working over time. Swinging hugely between ridiculously optimistic and despairing. Might just sleep for the next week instead I think!

CHendy78 · 08/02/2015 08:54

Negative :(

LittlePoot · 08/02/2015 09:17

Oh rubbish -sorry sweetie. Still, it's early days so don't give up hope yet. x

JassyRadlett · 08/02/2015 09:35

Bugger. But definitely early days.

Metalhead · 08/02/2015 09:44

Sorry to hear that chendy.

crispiecrunchie · 08/02/2015 11:46

Sorry to hear that chendry. I have been reading the thread and popped on today to see if you had tested. X

GoodEggMightMaterialiseAnytime · 08/02/2015 17:37

Sorry CHendyWine

Tweej · 08/02/2015 18:19

Hi girls new to this thread. Have a 2.5 year old, but 7 months ttc number two. 13dpo and bfn, no symptoms this month so not surprised. Sorry to hear about the bfns. Think we are gonna give it one more month before starting some further tests. Finding this whole process so consuming and disappointing. Hope there will be more bfps on this thread x

Metalhead · 09/02/2015 13:10

Welcome tweej, and sorry to hear about your BFN. There have been some BFPs on here recently and hopefully we'll all get there one day.

CD13 here and no sign yet of imminent ov. Would be good if my body got its arse in gear and released the egg before Sunday as my parents are coming to stay with us then for a week, and having to dtd without making any noise makes it even more of a chore for me... Blush

CHendy78 · 09/02/2015 19:38

Welcome tweej! This is one of the most supportive threads.
AF arrived bang on time today, annoying waste of £10 on tests yesterday! Will console myself with some wine tonight, enjoy the break then back on it next week. Probably not too surprising, life fairly stressful at the moment. Am a teacher waiting for Ofsted, my mum been in hospital and trying to buy a house all at once, full on! Hoping to chill out a bit with DS next week for half term, maybe relaxation will help, got pregnant last time over Christmas hols.
How's everyone else getting on?

CHendy78 · 09/02/2015 19:39

Metal hahahaha, that does put a dampener on things ;)

JassyRadlett · 09/02/2015 19:43

Boo, CHendy! Time to drink all the wine I think.

Metal, DS was conceived when my sibling was sleeping in the next room of our tiny flat for a month....

No news here. But if an upset stomach but I think it's wishful thinking! Not due to test until Sunday/Monday, so trying to be sane.

CHendy78 · 09/02/2015 23:52

Fingers crossed Jassy :)

Tweej · 10/02/2015 12:55

Hi girls,

AF arrived this morning on cd 31. Knew it was on its way so was ok about it. Feeling productive today and gonna take the next step and do some fertility investigations. Any advice on what investigations I need to ask for?

Advice appreciated.

Thanks
