honey DH and I loved Croatia when we went. We stayed in a town called Porec, and from there we went on a trip to Slovenia, a trip to Venice, and explored the local town which was all cobblestone streets and the like. Although we didn't take them, there was also the option to jump on a ferry down the coast line to visit other Croatian towns.

mistletoe Thank you for your comments about PCOS. It's also good to hear that metformin is helping getting your cycles back on track. I'm only a few days in to the metformin so I'm hoping that over time it's going to help me out a bit.

I'm feeling better today compared to yesterday. I do keep going through mental stages of thinking that I can do whatever I can to give me as much chance as possible to feeling down and depressed thinking I'll never get pregnant. I know this is still only a few days after this diagnosis, and I will settle in to trying to do everything I possibly can, but it's still all a bit of a shock to the system at the min. I'll get there. I hope

Today I've had really bad lower back pain. Not sure what that's all about.

I've also currently got the hiccups - I'm sure that's not a symptom of anything...

Quick contraband question, on the IC OPK's when you have an almost positive does that indicate a build up of LH (so getting close to ovulation)? Reason I ask is yesterday I'm sure I saw come EWCM but just did an OPK and was totally clear, whereas before yesterday for a few days I had the almost positive line.

I loved Bruges and will definitely go back.

In other news, I'm adding peeing like a racehorse and a headache to my list of symptoms. At the risk of sounding deranged, I feel pregnant. Last time I had a sort of warm feeling that I can't describe properly, like warm under my skin. Anyway I've got it again. Have had that since I was pregnant.

As a precaution as far as food and drink are concerned I'm going to behave as if I am pregnant so no more booze, blue cheese etc

Thanks, everyone for your advice on illicit contraband. Relieved to know that absence of anything on the opk tests doesn't necessarily mean that they or I are broken!
Will have to keep the cape on for the foreseeable then;)

Sorry can't help with OPKs. I used them for a month and the despair at the lack of smiley face wasnt worth it.

ain you're bound to feel all over the place about it at the moment. it sounds cliché but I've really found guided relaxation CDs have helped me stay positive and try to destress. I downloaded a couple by bonnie groessl for as few quid off amazon. one is a sleep one as I was wired at bed time lying in the dark thinking about ivf, the other is a meditation one for general positivity/wellbeing.

honey i've read about immune issues being a problem with failing ivfs. can you see if they will do any tests? I think I've said before my sil had a lot of support from her lupus consultant to prep her for ttc so it may be worth speaking to them if you are worried.

jelly you probably just got your surge later in the day (or earlier) that you got the almost positive. Lh surges can be quite quick so if you've got a blank now, you probably surgeons the middle of the night or something.
