Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also know as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage. Self explanatory, who wouldn't?

ROC - Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Option decorations include photographs of political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedinging!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing A lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Happy Christmas shagging, shaggers!

thanks lil ill keep shagging I would say DH would be pleased but he's retired to bed ridiculously early the last 2 nights with no warnings so think I've worn him out! lol I have sore boobs started last night so think it is possible but yes will try vaginally next cycle!!

lol jelly I do that too, or I start a conversation in my head and then finish it out loud and expect everyone to know what I'm on about haha! x

Noniks3 · 09/12/2014 14:35

Wish my brain was fast Lil - maybe I'd keep up with this thread! This goes a long way to explain how you're such a font of knowledge!

So much has gone on... Bother I'm so very sorry, hope we can be of some comfort to you Flowers

Mountain still thinking of you too, hope you're ok

Ain sorry you're dealing with your news - but this is the best place to get reassurance & advice from others in the know. Hope you feel more positive.

Gosh Tink, that's mental?! but agreed strangely positive as it removes such a huge hurdle for you. Feeling very positive for you x Also went to Bulgaria skiing a couple of years ago, it was great fun - really good deal but perhaps not quite a cheap out there as we were expecting.

Honey when is you're anniversary?

am CD11 here, I'm not going to get too excited this month as I really don't want my hopes dashed by a short cycle. Should ice this weekend/Monday though who knows these days & we generally JS then anyway. Haven't even really temped this cycle Shock

Exactly Lil! But i think he also wants culture. Hmm

April noniks so springtime! I suggested Netherlands to see the tulips but no luck.

Pisghetti · 09/12/2014 15:13

Andorra is good for reasonably priced skiing. We went to the Grandvalira Region two years ago (mine and DS's first time - there were exceptionally good conditions that season) DP (a seasoned skier) couldn't believe how much variety there was for a range of skills. Plenty of blues for me and DS, plenty of blacks for DP. We looked at Bulgaria but he felt it lacked the length and variety of runs.

hopes no one noticed her pinching a mince pie

honeysucklejasmine · 09/12/2014 17:55

Thanks Jelly, I am sold!

Chat, Ghent sounds lovely too. Could we do a day trip or a half and half holiday in Brussles and Ghent? What do you think is best?

lildottie · 09/12/2014 18:11

honey Belgium has ooldes of culture. we went specifically to see the menin gate memorial as dh's great uncle is named on it. We also went to pool of piece, hill 60, hill 62, hooge crater museum, hooge cemetary. All ww1 related as that was the purpose of our trip but it was fab. And Ypres was beautiful. The buildings are just amazing.

batfish · 09/12/2014 18:39

Waaaahh cystitis is still here! It was loads better yesterday evening so I thought I was in the clear and then I spent my whole morning today at work trying not to wee myself almost unsuccessfully

CD10 and there is shagging to be done, piss off infection! Could force a shag but the thought is just horrible right now, would prob end up giving the hubby a golden shower Hmm

batfish · 09/12/2014 18:41

Yum I'll take a mince pie!

Muddytoes1 · 09/12/2014 18:54

Batfish that's horrible, cystitis is the worst! I get it 1-2 times a year but as a very sudden and serious bladder infection that comes on over about 3-4hours. I normally end up at the emergency docs in the middle of the night. The doc has

Muddytoes1 · 09/12/2014 18:56

Ooops half a post! Doc has now given me antibiotics to keep at home in case it happens suddenly again. Sending get well vibes your way Smile

TinkerBlue · 09/12/2014 19:00

bat you'll find the general viroid stance on water infections is get thee to the doctors! Take a lovely cup full of piss for the nurse and get yourself some antibiotics. They can get nasty and are not conducive to shagging! Flowers

Fleurchamp · 09/12/2014 19:32

honey I would also second Croatia, we went for a long weekend. Flew in to Split, ferry to an island nearby (can't remember the name of the island Blush) and stayed in a place called Bol. If the weather's nice there are beaches and Split is a Roman city and so plenty of culture. Would highly recommend.

I think our holiday next year will be a new bathroom Sad I have been saving for a couple of years as it's our 10 yr anniversary but DH says it will be more sensible to spend it on the house than two weeks in the Maldives and the annoying thing is, he is right

SunshinePickle · 09/12/2014 19:56

Feeling a bit meh today. Had loads of lovely baby cuddles at work today and everyone kept making comments suggesting that I was secretly pregnant. Worried that I've grown my mince pie belly too big already....

Muddytoes1 · 09/12/2014 19:57

Eeeek ok dh says he's feeling better and ready for our first ttc sesh. Feel sick, like Mrs Baker my old sex ed teacher will burst in at any moment with an armful of different contraceptive options. Nervous nervous.

ChatEnOeuf · 09/12/2014 20:19

Honey there's loads to see! Brussels: Grand Place, Museums (musical instruments, history of the city, cartoons, beer, chocolate...), Mannekin Pis, loads of excellent restaurants and beers. Ghent: Castle, canals, Belfry, cathedral with mystic lamb. Bruges: canals, museums, Bruges Zot brewery, bell tower... Waterloo for 1815 stuff (though beware, the angle is distinctly French, it's not obvious the Napoleon didn't win!); Ypres for WWI stuff - incl Menin gate for the last post; Spa for a massage or the grands prix... Antwerp has an excellent zoo, and there's another one not far from Mons that's very good .Apparently there's even a ski resort! You can certainly do it all on public transport - I wouldn't recommend driving in Brussels for sure. Bruges and Ghent are positively anti-car.

honeysucklejasmine · 09/12/2014 20:30

Thank you so much ladies! I showed dh Jelly's link in my tablet before coming out, and returned to find a tab open looking for hotels etc. So seems like Belgium it is! So Chat, if I can be cheeky even more so are there any places we should or shouldn't stay? Sounds amazing, so we will prob do a city hopping style trip, few days in each place. Maybe start Brussels and do Antwerp, Ghent and Ypres.
