Continuing from 13th thread

Oh tip for the intralipids, make sure you are super hydrated and wrap up warm so you are 'vascular' I had loads try's with my first one as my veins were hard to get. Ended up in the side of my wrist. Was jumping up and down and running my hands under hot water to help.

Second time round (I knew all this) and worked second go easy. Just a little tip to help things go smooth!

Oh and I had some sugar/choc about half hour before...no clue if it helped but I figured it's what body builders do before a comp to help with their veins pop (and an excuse to eat choc!!) so tried it!! ha ha xx

Determind- hats off to that £1000 positivity on tasteless milkshake! We paid the £350 today and i kept thinking that's £350 I could spend on a new kitchen or a house move depending, a holiday a splurge on clothes, a spa sod it not a spa day a whole weekend away at spa maybe?
Do you know if I don't make it to the 6 week mark do you get a refund in the intralipid's? Sorry for my matter of fact way of dealing with myself at moment but I seem to cope better like that x

To your question earlier trying
Last mc was July. Had to stop trying until dr s original appointment in October and started trying again after my results 17/11/14 so yes 6 months since last but I wa thinking technically only 3 rounds of prednisalone so that was better? Although if all is ok I am going with my gut instinct and saying def the acupuncture as she seemed to suggest Chinese medicine can help nk cells and progesterone levels out ( something I am low on when pregnant !)

I think you only get a refund if you don't actually go and get it if that makes sense? It is like a big milkshake though! I was lucky I have good veins and had it in my arm - bit like a blood test - the lady at Alexandra house - Jackie - was excellent. Still got the bruise though :/

Going to write down questions at weekend but my main 2 are - can I keep doing SO and the other is - why did it happen exactly the same as mc2 even though I was on medians what else can you do!

Oh and actually feeling quite strong at the moment - I'm determined that I will get pregnant again soon, and I'm not letting g these nk cells rule my life!

3 preg on pred have got rid of my itrational fear it stops u getting preg. So I'm gonna do it this time!

I'm off on a mini uk break for DH bday. Not sure if the snow will allow it though! So might be off radar for a few days but will be thinking if u ESP sunny determined and dildoos.

Sunny u will get preg! U have done it before u will do it again. It's like rolling a dice-u just have to roll the right one. But all the stories and studies suggest u get there in end

You will! We all will get there! If we can visualise ourselves with a baby that is the biggest hurdle . What did he do wih the lady on the news that took anti maleria tablets instead? Is that a consideration for you? Sorry I am no oracle but there were two ladies one treated with pred the other wasn't successful and mc again and I am sure she went on anti maleria tablets . X

I'm not sure - to be honest I'm taking so many different things what's one more!!

Oh don't know about refund but I am sure they would be ok...so do you only have ils at 8 weeks? (Sorry if got that wrong I have a phenomonal headache right now) sunny have you been having anything like headaches? Or anyone else after mc. Mine are killer at the mo.

Yep she prob was! Have u read the comments? They all saying she's put On a lot of weight (I have no idea what she looked like before). I want to tell them all its prob the pred!

Did you see Adele Silva (emmerdale?) was on the TV today after 3 miscarriages and saw Dr Ndukwe. Has thyroid prob, NK cells and blood clotting I think!!

I'm still really dubious about all this
Miscariage tx. Even with no tx we have a 75 percent chance of all being ok. I wonder if its the tx or just luck! No randomised control trials so we will never know!
Nduke or gorgy shehata or quenby. I wish I knew who had the magic formula. On the reccurent miscarriage thread most the women have seen quenby and see to have luck with her . While on the old ttc on pred they all saw shehata and had luck!

Saying that even if tx helps by 1percent I'll take that over another mc anyday!

Wow so much can change in 24 hours. Amazing news and fingers crossed the blood tests go well. When is the cut off for intralipids? I had them already as would have had to wait 6 weeks for hydroxy to kick in before trying.. So arguably a waste.. But at least know it's ok and what to expect and would always have wondered if those were the months.

Trying the NHS doc I saw before xmas said she wouldn't give me anything as no real evidence any of it works, Ils were created as a placebo years ago and no large enough trials. We just had to keep trying and one would stick. My answer to that was there was no way I would get preg and not take it because of what if...if I mc again would always blame myself for not.

She said the only thing she would consider is heparin with aspirin none of the other stuff (and was surprised at how many meds I took with SO too!)

I agree totally determined. Hence why I went to shehata. Even if its working as a placebo! I do believe so many ladies suceed on the pred. I just get thoughtful on it sometimes
