Just thought I'd get the January bus started! The heaters on, the tunes are turned up and the seats are pretty comfy :)
I know there's a couple of others like myself who won't be POAS until January time so we have a bit of time to get cozy on the bus.
I'm Spam, my hubby is having a reverse vasectomy in a couple of weeks so my earliest hope of a BFP is 4/5th January :)

hair I use the Internet cheapies for opks and pregnancy tests too. Then if I get a line on a pregnancy test I go spoil myself with a clear blue digital :D

well, we have done as much DTD as we can. My ovia fertility score is now dwindling. I did my ovulation POAS Thursday which was negative. Did it yesterday and it was positive - and today positive. Have DTD every day just to cover all bases. Just need to wait it out now. Expecting a BFP 21/22nd December. Lots of sticky baby dust to us all

Just realised I've been unintentionally doing the SMEP. Being diligent to take temps and do opks this month now we're on cycle 13

I got some cheap ovulation strips from amazon that seem to be working. I've been using them the last two months since coming of the pill to try and get to know my cycle before we start trying seriously this month. According to Ovia my fertile window lands right over Xmas though so will have to make some excuses to get away from the inlaws! Lol!

I've also just downloaded Glow so now I'm using two trackers.

I think when I've started trying I might switch to the expensive tests if were not having any luck with it.

I got my ovulation sticks from savers. 5 in a pack for £1. Clear and simple is the brand. My Pregnancy ones were from eBay. I got 30 for £3 inc delivery. So far my apps and the sticks are in agreement ... We shall see ... Xxx

This is my first bus so hopefully I've got on through the right door with a ticket and didn't fall upside down through the fire exit with my knickers on my head.

My stats are: FoodPorn, TTC #2, cycle 1, POAS 2 Jan

DC1 is 1 year old and BFPd in cycle 1 so fx for the same luck this time. Still breastfeeding and wondering if that will scupper my plans. Need to start temping but not sure I get enough sleep in the night for my temps to count .

Expecting fertile period over Christmas and wondering whether that means we can't call our DC Holly as planned!!!

FoodPorn. I'm still breastfeeding dd, who was 2 in November. I never planned to breastfeed for so long but we just haven't gotten around to stopping yet. AF has been regular since 7 months pp so I'm hoping it won't be a problem. Don't really fancy tandem feeding though. .

I'd like to join you please! I'm 34, husband is 36. This is our second month ttc. Technically we are still trying for this month. Been using the Clear blue dual ovulation sticks and have had flashing smiley faces for 3 days now. Wish it would stop flashing! We dtd yesterday morning, and will do again tonight. And every other day until I get that non flashing smiley face! Lovely to meet you all and looking forward to sharing the ride. Let's hope it's a really short journey for all of us!

I should add that this is us ttc #1

Saying bye bye to AF today gonna crack out the OPKs this week! Fingers crossed for that line!!

Letsdothisthing, ttc#2, cycle 1 (after current wtf cycle, mc nov) BFP due ?? sometime in January

Sorry I can't be more specific with dates, I'm currently 35 days since my mc and waiting for AF, expecting her this next week :-( we DTD during this wtf cycle but had bfn yesterday and signs of spotting now so awaiting full blown AF, after that we will be back to TTC! Bought the CB digital ov sticks today to try in a few weeks to see what is going on with this crazy body of mine, hope the mc won't have messed with my cycle too much!!

Dc1 is coming up to 18 months so hope it happens again fairly soon so we can have a smallish gap!

Hi MarysPrayer. No plans to quit here but also not keen on tandem feeding. Hoping that DS will decide to wean soon!

I have grand plans of the things I'll do differently next time around (assuming there is one) but mainly just don't want to end up with shredded nipples again

AF returned for me at 7 months too. I was very unimpressed as had heard of breastfeeding meaning no AF for a long time. I blame DS's enthusiasm for the introduction of solids.

Is this your first month TTC #2? I'm wondering whether the fact that I have AF means I am definitely ovulating. Haven't been arsed to temp lately and suspect lack of sleep may affect results!

We've been holding out for a September + baby too although waiting for a few months is likely to be a blessing in disguise re: 2 under 2

Letsdothisthing - I'm hoping for a small gap too. It seems like a good idea at the moment... I'm hoping I don't live to regret it when there are two DC screaming and throwing things at me instead of just the one!

Foodporn, yes this will be the first month. Dh has only just come around to the idea of a dc2. (dd was not an easy baby) Would have liked a smaller age gap but at least dd will be at nursery.

I think I've got a lot to learn from you all about all this. Never monitored ovulation/temps or anything first time round. We just happened to dtd half way through m cycle and got a bfp 2 weeks later. Fully aware that it maty not be so easy this time around.

I've downloaded Ovia as it was mentioned up thread. My fertile window starts this Saturday apparently. We have a Christmas party so maybe the time will be right hey?

I've heard that smaller gaps are difficult to begin with but you get the whole newborn/baby/toddler phase over and done with more quickly and then reap the benefits when they have similar interests as children.

Thank you all :-) spotting a little more today but still light, not counting CD1 yet as it just doesn't seem heavy enough! Just want this AF to come so we can end this wtf cycle and get on with the new cycle!!!

Can I buy an early ticket? Have all AF signs and symptoms here so not hopeful for this cycle. Also haven't been able to DTD as much for various reasons & my cycles are all over the place.

Sorry you've had a rubbish time Sasha :-( I'm currently in the wtf cycle and no longer hopeful as realise I may have ov'd later than I thought so gave up the DTD action too soon :-( on to January!!
