Just thought I'd get the January bus started! The heaters on, the tunes are turned up and the seats are pretty comfy :)
I know there's a couple of others like myself who won't be POAS until January time so we have a bit of time to get cozy on the bus.
I'm Spam, my hubby is having a reverse vasectomy in a couple of weeks so my earliest hope of a BFP is 4/5th January :)

poco I had a little cry to DH on Saturday as I told him this wouldn't be our month and now look!! I had all my normal AF symptoms too.

Random question is the idea of propping your bum up after sex and staying laid down to aid conception a myth of a fact? Does it help? My app (ovia) thinks I need to stay still for 15 mins after sex.

Not sure it will be my month, we had people staying and didn't DTD till CD15... Not entirely sure when I ovulate so I suppose there could be a slim chance?

Hair its supposed to help yes but it also ups the risk of infection. I didnt really do it and still managed to get pg! I read that the healthy sperm get where their supposed to no matter what so when you lay down your just helping the slower sperm get up there to.
The best thing you can do is orgasm after your dp and you'll literally suck up his stuff lol

hair I've heard it's a myth. On the first time, I tried to stay still but reasoned that me getting cystitis is only going to lower my odds because I won't be able to dtd so I'm going to the loo if I feel the need. TMI alert but I went to the loo yesterday afterwards and some came shooting out, we just laughed, I guess the strong ones will get where they need to, DH was like, 'well there are millions there'. And then he cleaned it up. ain't sex beautiful?

Hair - it's a myth according to my gp. The sperm will be well on their way immediately and what comes back out tends to be only fluid. If there are any sperm that come out then they are likely to be dead/slow/mis formed... Not ones you'd want to keep in anyway!

That being said, I did have 3 cycles where I tried it and lay with my legs in the air for 20 minutes afterwards! Lol. It didn't work. X

Finally after 2 BFN and AF being 6 days late I got my BFP this morning!
I have had a water infection so have had what felt like period pains for days. I think I have peed so much there was never a chance for the hormones to build up to a level that could be measured.
Poor DH had me jumping around the room telling him before he even opened his eyes!

Hoping to be joining you this weekend with one of my own (FX!)

Been experiencing some weird light on and off cramping very low down and occasionally to my lower back since sunday night...not painful, just niggling. Due AF on Saturday so hoping its not just the old witch making her way but I don't remember ever having af cramps this early (around 11dpo today i think). Pretty much symptomless other than that.

Not even a full week in to the new year and so many BFP's....long may it continue!!

Sorry have been away for a while as trying to chill out a bit! We have decided to treat the last cycle as an anovulatory month so stick with the apps predictions of when I would be fertile! Bring on lots of dtds this week! Fingers crossed for all of us!

P.s do you think we are doing the right thing fertility/dtd wise?! Or should we wait until the mysterious AF turns up?!

I'm currently on CD 19, had pos OPKs on 15 & 16 so not 100% how many dpo I am.. I'll go with 3 to be safe. I've never felt so eager for the month to go fast so I know either way!

Maybe TMI for some but does anyone never notice much change in cm? I don't really monitor it but I take a bit of notice when I pop to the loo and have never spotted EWCM, is it because it tends to stay 'up there'?
