Just thought I'd get the January bus started! The heaters on, the tunes are turned up and the seats are pretty comfy :)
I know there's a couple of others like myself who won't be POAS until January time so we have a bit of time to get cozy on the bus.
I'm Spam, my hubby is having a reverse vasectomy in a couple of weeks so my earliest hope of a BFP is 4/5th January :)

morning keys, creamy cm is unlikely to be fertile. You're looking for the slippery egg white type.

As for temping, you need a basal thermometer which gives you two decimal places. I got mine from Amazon for about a fiver it's made by BabyMad. You take your temp as soon as you wake up in the morning, preferably same time everyday.

Good luck to anyone testing today, CD13 for me and no hint of a line on ic OPKs yet, I've woken with lower backache though so it may be on its way soon.

I think I've ovulated but ff hasnt confirmed it. Saying that though, i've missed a lot of temps due to xmas.

Same treacle, it was tricky over Xmas since we were laying in so much and away from home for a few days. At least for me it was so early in my cycle so I've managed to get back into it during the last week. Hope you had a good rest and were able to relax a little. x

due to fertility friend my ovulation days are tomorrow tues and wednesday. On here its says 13th 14th and 15th. And AF is due on 23rd of January. I am very confused and don't want to miss that window. I dont have the OPK's yet so I am clueless. Much help would be greatly appreciated here.

My stats are (sorry if I get things wrong I dont really know what I am doing lol)

ttc 3rd baby/my cycle lasts for 28days/my last AF was 26th December and lasted 5 days.

...errr, I may not be out of the game yet. Tmi, but bleeding yesterday morning never came to much and remained light pink. Still having PMS symptoms and AF due tomorrow so we will see, but the show's not over until the fat AF sings!

Thanks boosk, gives me a little hope, I don't temp I have a basal thermometer but keep forgetting to use it

keys I guess your predicted ov will be an estimate based on previous period dates as ff won't have much data yet. Don't worry about it too much, just dtd every other day and start with logging what you can. If you don't get your bfp this month then at least you'll have had a bit of practice with charting. It is confusing at first but lots of us on here have been trying it for a few months and there are some experts on here who are really helpful.

Thanks, desperately trying not to get my hopes up. It feels very like PMS, (which I felt like before I found out with dc1 to be fair) but i've already accepted it was over for this month so could be in for twice the disappointment. Not POAS until AF officially late though. So, that's Tuesday first thing.

Af has made her (so far v. Light) appearance so was about to step off the bus when I realised that by next af due date will be 31.01.15 - so am going to stick around if that's ok? X

sammylou1 hey hun theres no such thing of steping of the bus the cycles come around so quickly. Its very disheartening when trying and AF arrives I remember I was apart of a forum in 2009 with ttc 1st bubba and it was a rollercoster I was one of the first to fall think 2 before me but that was after 4 months of trying and even after I had had her my other ttc budies were still ttc they all got there in the end. I remember every time AF arrived being in tears its heartbreaking but it soon comes round again. But sharing journeys even getting eachother through the disappointment helped so much on here. New year's good luck to all on the bus. I had positive OPKs yesterday and today and I am fairly sure I can feel ovulation happening today - dull pain with the odd sharp twinge on the right side of my abdomen only - it's a familiar feeling but before ttc I never connected it with ovulation. Didn't feel it last month, which was I think a bit of a dud month generally as I didn't get a positive OPK till cd18. This feels much more on track, somehow.

Now, here's the question: we DTD today at about 10.30 am (and same time the day before). What I think are the ovulation pains have been strongest since around 5pm ish today and I can still feel them. (we're not in the UK in case you are thinking "hold on, it's not 5pm yet...") So, do I pin DH down tomorrow morning to DTD again before we go to work, or does it make no odds and doing it at night will be fine? I really hate doing anything in the morning, but could make an exception for this...

JessieMcJessie Hi hun its amazing how our bodies are all so different. I think I ovulate early but im no expect trying for 3rd time already feel the desperation kicking in.
I think someone mentioned earlier to DTD every other day when leading up to ovulation. The swimmers can last upto 7 days in the womb. I think tomorrow morning your be fine but if this is your most fertile time to DTD. Will put your OH in a very good mood for the rest of the day lol.

Just to be clear, we WILL be DTD tomorrow, but just not sure whether we should do it in the morning or can/should wait till the evening. That will be a gap of 36 hours between DTD.

We have been DTD most days, according to Ovia, I've two more days left at peak fertility. Can't see it happening today/tonight, I have got really bad stomach ache, it's in the middle rather than one sided. Wondering if it's the beginning of cystitis from all the shagging. Grrr. Hopefully will be better tomorrow, and I'm off work which is a bonus. Had my last night out out for a few weeks, slim chance it'll have been my last one for a bit. Made an executive decision not to do dry January on the off chance 2015 will be dry. Am going to buy some new running togs and holiday research to invoke law of the sod I think.

Well I've just 'de-christmased' the house..another busy day to keep the symptom spotting to a minimum lol. Not back to work til the end of the month so tonights plan is few glasses of wine, cheeseboard and chocolates before the fresh start tomorrow. My boy will be back at school, OH back at work and I plan on getting in shape (again haha) and if AF shows her ugly face next weekend its time to start the serious ttc. So no doubt I'll be kicked off the bus and thrown on to February's and be in need of all info on cycle tracking! As much as I've enjoyed the last few weeks I can't wait for some sort of normality to kick in!

Hi ladies may I join? Been ttc for a while now I have a 30-32 day cycle. For the first time ever I'm two days late and I'm too scared to test!

Sometimes I feel quite sickly, going off certain foods and had sore boobs but I know that's a symptom of AF arriving so trying not to read too much into it.
