Just thought I'd get the January bus started! The heaters on, the tunes are turned up and the seats are pretty comfy :)
I know there's a couple of others like myself who won't be POAS until January time so we have a bit of time to get cozy on the bus.
I'm Spam, my hubby is having a reverse vasectomy in a couple of weeks so my earliest hope of a BFP is 4/5th January :)

booboobeedoo11 so sorry to hear that as well life can be very cruel. I am glad to hear you've met someone who has made you very happy after the tragedy that hit you.
It can a long time to conceive if you've been on bc for a long time. I hope you have a sticky bean this time :). If your not successful this time round it wouldnt hurt to track the ovulation. I will be doing that if I get to April with no luck.
Fingers crossed though hun. Looking forward to hearing your news xxx

booboobeedoo11 · 03/01/2015 15:53

Thanks keys and boosk

Like I said in a previous post, last month I was all positive and so obsessed with ttc, was noticing 'symptoms' that were prob all in my head and this month it seems all very different...tmi but I've not even stood and examined my boobs in the mirror lol usually that's my first point of checking, thought I could see a few changes in them last month...either imagining it or pre af symptoms! Don't know if its because its been a busy week with xmas and that or if I just don't feel positive at all. Really want this to be our month though! But I can't get myself worked up like this every single month....torture!!

Maths88 · 03/01/2015 16:03

Booboo I had no symptoms before testing and still don't reslly - which is worrying me slightly but that's another issue. I was convinced that I was out this month after some slight brown discharge and then got my bfp!

rubyrubes13 · 03/01/2015 16:05

Hi all had a read through all the posts a bit sad to see some oldies on here I am currently been on here for 6 months I am hoping this is my month so to all bfp congrats to any af or bad news I feel your pain af with me now so gearing up

keys27 · 03/01/2015 16:12

Boosk I wish you all the best hun for this window hoping u get a BFP in a few weeks time :) 2 week window will be hitting soon thats the worst part of ttc I found myself going through loads of PT's on first baby spent loads.
Silly question and I know everyone is different but when are you most fertile I thought it was straight after AF but reading the postS its 12-13 days before your next AF. Have you been trying long hun? Yes very hard youngest is disabled but I am lucky to have her I just hope the NHS look after me this time as if I had the stitch before my youngest wouldnt of been prem :(. Never mind I have her and things happen fora reason but it has scared us. We are excited and scared.

booboobeedoo11 You never know hun as soon as you try relax and forget about it (which is impossible) you conceive. Easier said than done though hun I know. This is my first month and I can already feel the excitement of the first test then the disappointment to follow. Love following everyones posts though. I will be rooting for you to get a BFP in weeks time :).

booboobeedoo11 · 03/01/2015 16:26

Thanks Luv, support on here for each other is amazing....great to know there's loads of ladies in the same boat Smile

keys27 · 03/01/2015 16:35

Your welcome it is hun. I was on here when I was ttc first bubba and support was amazing especially after I had had her as well. But its lovely when you do get a BFP to keep following and watching everyone else receiving their news. It has its ups and downs as u said hun I suffered such heartache after conceiving first time round after 6 weeks :(but the support for me was amazing and two months later I had the chance to join in with the positives again. Got me through it.
We are all in the same boat now all with such different backgrounds as well. And we will all be mummys again soon :). Just think before we have xmas again we could all have new arrivals its mad or an xmas baby. Even though I already have an xmas baby lol would have to maybe stop for a month otherwise I would be in for an very expensive month xx

Boosk · 03/01/2015 16:57

keys I'm charting my cycle and logging everything on fertility friend, using opks, checking cm and temping. I think it depends on the length of the cycle, according to the app I've just entered my fertile phase at cd14. Got my first positive on an opk today and looking at my last two cycles I ovd two days after the positive opk. Even if you're not trying too hard just yet I'd start keeping a record now so that you have something to compare to if it doesn't happen straight away.

Bovnydazzler · 03/01/2015 17:26

keys wishing you all the best for a stress free TTC journey, with premature births and miscarriages behind you, you deserve an easy ride this time :). The average person ovulated cd14, so yes you've heard right that you are probably most fertile 12-16 days before AF is due, rather than straight after AF. Look out for egg white cervical mucus if you're not sure of dates. Good luck!

ruby sorry you've got another month on the buses. This is month 11 for me and finding it a bit relentless, loads of people been trying far longer so hope some old timers get BFPs to bring in the new year! (I was an instadiffer with #1 though so can't complain!)

rubyrubes13 · 03/01/2015 17:47

Thanks bovnydazzler it's been a crap six months but it's lovely to see all the bfps been off the pill for 2 years but it been trying for the last 7 months God I sound so depressing

keys27 · 03/01/2015 18:10

Bovnydazzler Thank you for your kind words and advice. Hubby wont know whats hit him mid Jan lol. Its been a very hard road for me with LO's but I am sure this time I will be able to take my baby home after birth this time 3rd time lucky. I am very sorry to hear about it taking so long to conceive I suppose you never know my friend has two healthy LO's and shes been trying for her 3rd for nearly 2 years so you just never know. I really hope a BFP is on its way to you very soon.

rubyrubes13 I am sorry to hear about your rocky road as well :( wishing you all the best and hope you get a BFP very soon.

Boosk Tahnl you for your advice I have just downloaded the app. Its very good advice I suposewhen its your first month of TTC you dont thinkahead like that. Great advice thank you hun

FoodPorn · 03/01/2015 18:15

Congratulations BFP ladies! SmileWine

I'm coming to the end of TWW and might test tomorrow instead of waiting until Monday (DPO 9 tomorrow).

I'm not feeling very positive today because my temperature was down for the second day in a row this morning (but still above coverline) and no symptoms. Based on 1st pregnancy, if I'm pregnant I'll start feeling nauseous tomorrow. PLEEEEEEASSEEE let me be nauseous tomorrow!! Envy

I've tried to console myself with the thought that if I'm not pregnant I'll be able to stick on my diet and lose some more weight, but that means I'll have to stick on my diet FFS!! Sad There is no silver lining to that cloud.

keys27 · 03/01/2015 18:15

Maths88I know its hard but try not worry. With my 2nd I had no symptoms until I was 9 weeks and bang I got such bad sickness. If you are worried ask your GP to book you in for a scan at the early pregnancy unit. I am sure everything is fine prob a LB on the way xxx Congratulations on the BFP. If you dont mind me asking hun how long did it take you

keys27 · 03/01/2015 18:18

FoodPorn looking forward to hearing your news tomorrow keeping everything crossed its a BFP for you xxx

Maths88 · 03/01/2015 18:37

Hi keys thanks for this - I'm not in the uk so i can pay for a scab if I want which I may do in a couple of weeks. This was our first month so I feel very fortunate to have gotten a bfp so quickly.

Maths88 · 03/01/2015 18:37

Scan not scab!

keys27 · 03/01/2015 18:51

Maths88 At leaast you have the option of booking an early scan hun. I am thinking of going private after my history. Wow first month thats great hun :).

I have just been looking on google (slaps hand). Its really dangerous for me to have another c section now I have gone from being really excited to extending the family to feeling really concerned and worried. Anyone know of or had any experiences of giving birth after 2 c sections.

Sorry for being a pain I am just very concerned now.

spamanderson · 03/01/2015 18:58

booboo I knew at 6dpo that I was pregnant! Just knew it and I have a feeling about the sex as well. It's been completely different to my pregnancies with dd1&2. I was nauseas, my boobs ached like crazy, nipples were tender, had cramps and was dizzy. I looked at food on TV and was heaving at the sight of it! Got my faint BFP on the evening of New Years day at 10dpo, the day before AF was due. I'm now 12dpo and am all bloated :(

Awww massive congratulations I am so pleased for you xxx

thenailgirl · 03/01/2015 19:48

I tested today and got a bfn although I'm not due af until the 8th if i go by the past 2 months since ditching bc. so I don't know if anything would show or not. How likely is a false negative at this point? Iv had 24 day cycles the past two months

Bovnydazzler · 03/01/2015 19:55

ruby It's pretty all consuming once you take the decision to 'try' isn't it. I feel I've been silly in 2014, and wasted time stressing about TTC when I should be fully appreciating my toddler. I'm trying to fully get the law of sod to work now and also stopped putting life on hold, booked a spa break, signed up to half marathon, got half a mind to book a skiing trip but think that's maybe a step too far!

Bovnydazzler · 03/01/2015 20:08

keys I have a friend who was told by docs after 2 c-sections she really shouldn't have more children as shouldn't have another c section. She did have a third, with another c-section, without problems. Obviously I guess it's not ideal to reopened old scars, and I have no medical expertise, but guessing it's largely precautionary advice.

keys27 · 03/01/2015 20:26

Bovnydazzler Thanks for replying hun. I've read more good stories than bad and researched it. I think I am going to book a private investigation into it all even though there is a chance I have already conceived. With every surgery there are risks its making a decision now. I defo wouldnt go for a natural birth as I know that would be even more dangerous. Will keep you posted what doctor advises. feeling a little :( as I really want another.

thenailgirl Although they have very sensitive PT's now which can test early it really is not a reliable source. I would wait until your AF is due then re test. Some womens hormones are stronger than others and can get a negative for weeks but can be pregnant. Its very unlikely but its not unheard of and everybodys body is different. My advice would be not to get to dishearted just yet even if you had a faint positive now doctors would not see you until AF has been missed. Chin up hun and re test in a few days I know its hard but dont get disheartened by this. I do know people who have tested to early got a negative and then a week later got a positive. Goodluck huni wishing you a positive
