Just thought I'd get the January bus started! The heaters on, the tunes are turned up and the seats are pretty comfy :)
I know there's a couple of others like myself who won't be POAS until January time so we have a bit of time to get cozy on the bus.
I'm Spam, my hubby is having a reverse vasectomy in a couple of weeks so my earliest hope of a BFP is 4/5th January :)

Kilted phew ok I feel a bit better now that we have done days in a row! Great news for you! I'll take some of that BFP vibe thanks! Wink

Rainy34 · 02/01/2015 22:17

Nice to see you Dozy, hope you are keeping well!! xx

squiish - i take Vitamin b6 along with vitamin b complex as its meant to work better, i use these vitamins to try and extend my luteal phase and to help with pre AF spotting, this is the second month i have been using them, taking more than 200mg a day of vitamin B6 for a long time can lead to a loss of feeling in the arms and legs, known as peripheral neuropathy.
Generally, the symptoms are reversible, so once you stop taking supplements the symptoms usually stop.
However, in a few cases when people have taken large amounts of vitamin B6, especially for more than a few months, the effect has been irreversible.
I have been taking around 20 mg of b6 and i feel fine

letsdothisthing · 02/01/2015 22:20

same to you Spam!!

Cariad2014 · 02/01/2015 23:24

Sparkly - I'd try not to worry too much about having overdone it. I really do think the success of EOD v. every day varies from couple to couple, and as you rightly say SMEP does tell you to dtd 3 days in a row over ovulation.

Dozygirl · 03/01/2015 00:12

Waves to rainy keeping a special eye on you and sending u lots of positive vibes. I'm doing good thanks for asking. 8 weeks now eek. Just want to get to the magic 12 weeks

Rainy34 · 03/01/2015 00:19

Wow that's gone quick dozy, not long till your scan

Hoping tonight's efforts were not too late, ovia suggesting I'm now out of my fertile window but hoping it's wrong still got a few ovulation cramps on and off so presuming I'm still in witha chance

Quietlyhopeful81 · 03/01/2015 07:21

Happy New year ladies! Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New year, and congrats to all those with bfps and commiserations to those with af.

Just a quick message from me for stats purposes, looks like I'm out this month. According to opks and charting I usually ovulate on CD16. On CD15, I got an almost positive opk, and assumed the positive would follow. It didn't, so I thought we had just missed the surge, but I'm now what should be 5dpo, and my temps haven't changed at all, which means no confirmed ovulation. Trying to be positive but pretty sad to have 'lost' a month, and hoping it's a one off and not a sign of things to come. Also hoping it doesn't screw with af and she arrives on time. We'll see, I guess. Good luck to everyone. I shall likely lurk a bit to see all the new years bfps roll in Smile

Bovnydazzler · 03/01/2015 07:36

kilted loving your story how you went from annoying small period to a BFP! Congratulations.

maths and spam congratulations both! Brilliant you didn't have to go through many months of stress to get your BFPs!

quietly sorry you're feeling down. Did you DTD at all around what could have been your fertile period? I Wouldn't worry to much, temping isn't 100% reliable and even small changes in timing can affect it, and even if this month is an ovulation blip, as you've ovulated before don't think you need to be too concerned for future months.

I'm CD11, expecting to ovulate cd17-19 if similar to last month on clomid so getting ready for the. DTD-athon!

victoria401 · 03/01/2015 07:53

Well I'm stepping off this bus as dh is refusing to have sex with me!! Not dtd since Xmas day. Pos opk last night and he's still 'too ill' to do it and 'why don't I believe him?'. Bear in mind that he's been going to work all week to a manual job etc. Looks like I will be jabbing myself with needles in a few weeks after all. Don't feel like even talking to him today. He knew how I felt about this last chance to conceive naturally. Pissed off is not the word. Good luck everyone x

Rainy34 · 03/01/2015 07:58

Victoria - I am really sorry oh didn't step up, it is so frustrating , really don't think the men get it but try not to get too down next month could change your life with the ivf x

victoria401 · 03/01/2015 08:25

I think the guilt got to him and I'm now lying upside down whilst he's making me breakfast whilst coughing more than necessary. Still, one grumpy quickie on ov day from a sick person is hardly likely to be the miracle we needed. Thanks for the good luck for treatment rainy. Good luck to you too.

Maths88 · 03/01/2015 08:46

To those that are worrying about dtd too much me and dh dtd about 25 times last month and it doesn't seem to have affected our chances!

I'm not saying everyone should do this just that it didn't seem to do any harm!

I think that the contraceptive that I was on had been suppressing my sex drive because once I came off it I wanted to dtd a lot more (tmi) and my dh has always had a high sex drive so he was more than happy to oblige!

mrsstickll · 03/01/2015 09:06

Finally read back through congratulations kilted and maths.

maths what a great dtd effort from you there, me and dh dtd nearly every day so good to know it worked for you.

spam congratulations! Talk about giving me hope, need a VR buddy now though.

Cd17 here feel like I would normally at this time sore boobs etc

letsdothisthing · 03/01/2015 09:31

Glad your DH changed his mind Victoria, it would be fab this mornings DTD resulted in your BFP in a few weeks... exciting! Have my fx for you!

Rainy34 · 03/01/2015 10:19

Bloody hell Maths, thats a lot of sex lol, I must say when i was on the pill i had a really low sex drive, and hardly ever wanted it, but since being off of it i have seen me wanting it a lot more, i think my dh would cry if we did it 25 times,

Glad you managed to dtd Victoria hopefully we might be still in with a chance !!!

trinityrabbit · 03/01/2015 10:32

Hey everyone. Technical question. January bus thread no longer appearing on the conception board for me. Am I missing something? I feel like af is coming..early I guess too. The pink cm was a bit yesterday though seems to have stopped this morning. But I've got cramps and body generally feels like it does when af is coming...boo. This symptom checking is a nightmare too...next month I'll have to try and chill out more with it lol. Congrats kilted is that 3 bfp's for Jan?! So exciting for you all Grin

spamanderson · 03/01/2015 10:36

mrsstickll I'm absolutely shocked to have fallen this quickly (dd1 was 12 months of not trying, dd2 was 9 months of active trying) but I can't ignore the fact that I've never found out this early before and that the surgeon said we're at higher risk of MC :( I'm going to worry until the anomaly scan at 20 weeks I think :/
rainy so would mine! 25 times in a year maybe ha ha! We only DTD 6 times over my fertile period (thank god!). After about the 3rd time it was a case of 'hurry up and get it over with' ha ha!
bloody men huh victoria fingers crossed it's done the trick!

Looks like I'm out. AF started this morning by looks of things. Gutted. Totally gutted. Really wanted a September baby. Good luck all. I won't be joining the feb bus, but maybe see some of you in march x

MissMrsMummy · 03/01/2015 11:11

Hello all!

Congrats on the bfps!

I have been away from the bus, busy DTD and trying to take a more relaxed approach to TTC.

Just thought I would pop in to say I am due to test soon (9dpo today).

How is everyone doing? Hope you have had a lovely Christmas and NY x

Freckles79 · 03/01/2015 11:28

Trinity Rabbit the symptom watching is impossible to stop!! I was really relaxed about the whole palaver during my last cycle until those few days before AF was due...I over analysed every twitch and was dreading going to the loo... Aaaagh! Might take some sedatives this time round!! Grin

Freckles79 · 03/01/2015 11:30

ImGoingForATwix...sorry about AF, best of luck for March!!! X

Boosk · 03/01/2015 11:40

Blimey maths I don't think I'd be able to walk after that much dtd! Well done!

Victoria glad your dh stepped up in the end, let's hope a reluctant grumpy quickie is enough for your bfp.

CD14 for me so just waiting for af, first positive opk today, a little earlier than usual but no bad thing, it is the weekend after all Wink
