Just thought I'd get the January bus started! The heaters on, the tunes are turned up and the seats are pretty comfy :)
I know there's a couple of others like myself who won't be POAS until January time so we have a bit of time to get cozy on the bus.
I'm Spam, my hubby is having a reverse vasectomy in a couple of weeks so my earliest hope of a BFP is 4/5th January :)

Hello and good luck everyone! Too many posts to catch up with but have been reading and sympathising.

I've just been sorting through baby clothes for a friend who is due soon - amazing what two years and a bit of perspective does! I thought I had sold things I was willing to part with, but I have a huge heap of clothes that I don't mind not getting back. I have kept everything that I am fond of in case DC2 is the same sex as DC1 and I will get as much use as possible out of our clothes whatever the sex!

Did make me ultra broody though, even more so!

Hi everyone, well I'm officially on the Jan bus now as AF arrived two days late after 8 days of spotting which is soooo weird!! Anyhoo, my stats are:
32, cycle 10, TTC 1, bfp due 22 Jan!!! Its going to be a long month!!!

I am on TWW for what would be my boxing day baby . I am breastfeeding DS (13 mo) still and was worried that I might not be ovulating but having tracked my temps this month it looks like there was a shift after the OPKs were positive.

Symptom spotting is in full swing. I was really hot last night and this morning which I got excited about because when I got pregnant with DS I was very hot in the first few DPOs and then had a headache. I have never wanted a headache before in my life until now!

I am DPO 3 and for DS had a BFP on DPO 10 so bring on the 5th January!

Hi guys, just catching up with everyone. 3 days until I can POAS not sure really. All the time off has made me think endlessly about conceiving so a BFN will be terrible but I am trying to prepare myself just in case. Much easier when I am at work and too busy to overthink!
Would be amazing to start 2015 with a BFP though!

Sore boobs and sharp stab by overly pain are the only symptoms so far...

Hi all, I was hoping for a xmas day bfp but af showed in place. I am on cd5 and praying for a January bfp. I was adamant I would just go with the flow but once the decision is made its hard not to want it to happen straight away!

Due to test NYE, I still have the funny right side pain, and itchy boobs, and I felt sick until 5pm when I made DH take me to McD's.

I have been very distracted at work, leading to one member of staff mutter to another 'when is she going to tell us she's pregnant!'

My response 'as far as I know I'm not, it's just all the bloody chocolate and mince pies I've been eating' cheeky feckers! They just want their own team bump to coo over - every other team has one. It's not known w're trying by anyone, but I just got married and that's what you do next right? I just want to screech 'I'm trying my best' but that would be unladylike and give the game away lol.

I even bought a wee funnel, a conception book and some mucas cough syrup as 'fate tempters' I don't want to test as a BFN means that, AF or nine months in the trenches at the moment!

Anyone had a BFP today I can look at for luck?

Mmm sorry marmite, no bfp here... I was in town today and contemplated buying some tests to try on New Years eve. Got home from work and of course, my usual pre AF brown spotting has arrived! So bfn for me and formally on board the jan bus now! Boo! Can't say I'm surprised those after my disastrous cycle 1 attempt!

Hey everyone. Glad to see people in the 2ww. Who knew how easy it is to get obsessed!! I am only 2dpo but already checking out when can first test. No symptoms and 13 days til AF due...gonna try and hold out for poas til af late! How is everyone doing with the suspense?! Guessing you have to get a bit more relaxed once you've gone a few months with bfns...

On cd3 here, unfortunately me and the OH have no days off together in jan, and after a strange, long cycle i don't even know when I'm due to OV. Looks like we'll have to dtd whenever we can and hope for the best this month!

We couldn't have done better this month, dtd several times leading up to ov, I just have a feeling this isn't going to happen naturally for us. X

blue I was naughty and tested again this morning. BFN as expected. Weird as last night I had the tiniest (TMI!) pink tinge when I went to the loo, was really thirsty last night and was super hot so fully expect AF to arrive this morning. Touch wood, she's not arrived so far. I'm only 8dpo so could be that I need to wait a couple more days? That or I've fit my hopes up for nothing. It's weird as I feel really positive about this month being THE month :/

Fingers crossed pigriver, I'm 8dpo, my boobs are agony (which I don't normally get with AF), I'm knackered and getting sharp twinges in my stomach too. I've been nauseas at the same time (about 5pm) fir the last 3 nights too... So you never know!!

Oh marmite! Lmao at wee funnel though! Hopefully you've tempted fate there! With dd1 I had started tests for hormones etc literally a couple of days before she was conceived as I was convinced I couldn't get pregnant! I did wonder about buying in a tonne of pregnancy tests in the hopes it would tempt fate into getting my BFP this month :)

trinity I'm only 8dpo and I may have tested for the last 3 days :/ i really should leave it now until New Years day but I know I'll end up sneaking downstairs again first thing to do another one :(
boo have you tried using ov sticks to get an idea when you ov? Would at least take a little of the guess work out of it :)
I'm sorry sammylou. Got my fingers and toes crossed for you but I know sometimes it just doesn't happen naturally :( what is your next step? Ivf/iUI? You'll get your precious baby, might take a bit more work but he/she will arrive one way or another :)

Morning ladies AF has arrived damn her, 2 days early. Annoying for not getting a bfp and also because the whole of the rest of my cycle was 2 days late.

Hi Ladies..just checking in, not been around the last few days and lost the thread! Cd 18 for me, not been overly crazy lady this month with all the madness of Christmas but certainly been dtd lol. According to fertility friend app I was most fertile 22nd-26th but on another ovulation calculator (same input) it says 25th-29th, how can they be so different with the same info? Anyway, I fully intend to carry on having some fun with the other half and not do the whole 2ww symptom spotting this time cough until after the 1st at least until/if AF turns up around 10th jan. Not read right through as I've missed a lot but hope you all had a great time over Xmas and fingers crossed for a bus full of bfp's!!

Morning all. AF has finally departed after 10 days (is usually 4!) So the bus is on the move! Actually a bit scared now the time has come, its impossible not to put so much pressure on myself to get pregnant first time and I'm such a stress head about everything in life I can't relax to save my life!

I am certain I ovulated yesterday but we didn't DTD. We did 48 hours before though so that may have worked. Who knows! I won't get my hopes up this cycle.

You could dtd today nicely just in case?

Cd11 today and my app says I've entered my fertile week. Don't usually ov til cd16 so don't want to wear dh out too early. He's feigning illness anyway at the mo. I think he wants to get out of a NYE party tough. No ewcm yet either. Do I have any cycle buddies due on Jan 18th??

Waves at Victoria. Glad you're joining us on this bus. I'm on cd12 at the moment, so not a million miles off where you are. My CBFM is still giving me 'highs' at the moment but assuming I ov around cd14 I'm likely to be due around the 16th.

Hope you've managed to soothe things over with your DH.

Cariad - Just saw your last post and that you use a CBFM, this is the first most of using the old style and i normally ovulate on cd 13 i am on cd 9 at the moment and when i started testing on cd6 i have been having high since then, just wondered if this is normal?

CD 12 for me today. DTD CD 10 and today... Usually by now on CD 12 I have a + on OPK but only faint line today so assuming tomorrow I will get a positive (hopefully!) haven't had much CM at all which is unusual and frustrating!
Just need to go with it I guess! Was going with every other day but if I get two positive OPKs in a row not sure whether should just go for it on all days! Read a quick bit about sperm meets egg method which tells me I should dtd every other day up to + OPK then dtd day of +, day after, the next day, miss a day then dtd again! ----
