Just thought I'd get the January bus started! The heaters on, the tunes are turned up and the seats are pretty comfy :)
I know there's a couple of others like myself who won't be POAS until January time so we have a bit of time to get cozy on the bus.
I'm Spam, my hubby is having a reverse vasectomy in a couple of weeks so my earliest hope of a BFP is 4/5th January :)

Long time lurker here but posting for the first time. Dp and I have just agreed to start ttc. As I am on around cd 25 now it will be next month we start trying.excited but a little apprehensive as we haven't exactly been careful up until now and no bfp so I think it might take a while for us. Look forward to chatting with you ladies x

As expected light night was a no go. But on a positive note I did an opk today and showed 2 clear lines so maybe things are still good. Woke DH up and demanded we DTD before he was awake enough for his hangover to kick in. Earlier this evening I was told I could wake him up that way every morning from now on!
Fingers crossed. Ovia app says I can POAS on New Year's Eve :-)

Yay pig :) fingers crossed :) we're not DTD tonight, I'm not in the mood and DH is a bit tender :/ opk gave me a slightly paler test line than the control line today so wondering if I'm going to ov tomorrow on CD18 instead of 19. My last cycle was shorter than normal, so Ovia now says AF is due on the 29th of this month rather than 4th Jan :/
Hi toohey how exciting :) DH and I were never careful (ie we never used anything at all) we'd been together a year when I fell pregnant, completely by surprise! You might find once you start watching your cycles etc and DTD at the right time, it'll be easier than you think :)

Morning all! Well AF has finally showed up. 4 days late and according to my apps that's put my fertile period back by a whole week so no festive fun for us! Bit disappointed, been waiting so long to ttc since the miscarriage and I know a week is nothing but still

Boo to your AF Melon! Bloomin thing! Not fair us it! A week is a tonne when you're excited about or waiting for something. No harm in getting some practice in for the week before your fertile period though ;)

Hi spam. I actually wanted AF to come as it took 3 months to come back after the mc and when it was late again I got upset because I thought I was 'broken' again! Still , she could have been bloody punctual. Now next month I'll be desperate for her not to show!

Just tested and got a positive opk this morning so that's a day earlier than the last months if testing. Hopefully DH had enough of a rest last night as he ain't getting another fir the next 3 days or so ha ha!

Iniquity 30, TTC #2. On cycle 5. AF due today. So next af due around mid Jan. Conceiving next cycle would be prefect. I might try soy

I'm hopping on after departing the December bus. I've just been to the loo and when I wiped there pinkish streaks in my cm. Af will be in full flow tomorrow. At least it looks like I'm back to my regular 31 day cycle.

My AF was 4 days early at the beginning of the month too! My ov has come forward a day this month too :/ Darn AF turning up uninvited. I'm not sure now if mines going to be a 25 day cycle again meaning its due again in 8 days but knowing my luck, she won't turn up so I'll get my hopes up, POA-Tonne of-S's and then she'll arrive on my old dates on 4th Jan. Why can't our bodies be more efficient and go go 'hey, you up there, some sperm totally just met your egg!' rather than making up wait until like 10dpo or a late AF to test. Inconsiderate, that's what she is!

I'm going to start temping and using cb digital opks this month. Am I right in thinking I temp as soon as I wake and I shouldn't use opks with fmu

A chemical pregnancy this month ladies, so waiting for AF to run up, hoping it won't be Christmas Day! Will see how I feel re ttc in Jan, might wait a month or two. Got everything crossed for BFPs for you all xxx

Beautician - yes you're right on both counts. Ideally you should temp as soon as you wake after at least 3 hours solid sleep.
Def don't use fmu, it can give you false positives. X

I'm taking a break after this month and will start ttc again in May
