Just thought I'd get the January bus started! The heaters on, the tunes are turned up and the seats are pretty comfy :)
I know there's a couple of others like myself who won't be POAS until January time so we have a bit of time to get cozy on the bus.
I'm Spam, my hubby is having a reverse vasectomy in a couple of weeks so my earliest hope of a BFP is 4/5th January :)

So operation shag DH brains out got off to a limp start. He is exhausted. I'm frustrated. Gah. Wine anyone?

sorry Mary did read your pp - sounds difficult. My af / bfi would be due Jan 1. if BFP doesn't happen I get a second ride on the bus too, so we might both be in for a double journey.

Good luck everyone . I've jumped off the December bus so will be able to drink wine over the festive period. And acupuncture has lengthened my cycle to 27 days. Feeling positive, if not for January then definitely for 2015. It's going to be a good year

Good luck Sammylou, it would be a great start to 2015 if you got a bfp. You always seem to take the time to help and support others. Your time will come too. I just found out that one of my best friends is finally pregnant after a long and difficult journey. I'm only at the start of all of this and there's no telling what the future might hold for me with TTC. I just hope that this time next year I'm either pregnant or holding a new baby.

Hoping all the get togethers and family time over the next few weeks makes it fly by! If its still bfn f9r me in January i'll be looking for tips and getting seriously into "Operation Fertilisation"

Morning all. Weird feeling today, AF should be arriving but no sign (I'm not pregnant as we've been using protection and I've done tests when bored!) Can't believe how much I want this period to arrive, as soon as it's hear I can think about it being gone then we can TTC. Hurry up flo!

Hi everyone can I join you? I'm on my 1st cycle after the WTF after a MC. I'm CD14, got a positive OPK yesterday (about to test today!) so would be testing NYE! If we don't catch I'd still get another cycle in Jan so though it best to join here!
Such a relief to see my cycle is back to normal (I'm a very standard 28 day, ov day 14) so we can start this journey all over again.
Fingers crossed for lots of early 2015 BFP.

I'm not really sure if I'm on the December bus or the January one! I thought I was out this month because we only DTD once and used sperm unfriendly lube. But I really 'feel' pregnant... I think I'm due Monday but nervous about testing after 6 very early mc's. Wondering if I should wait a few days to see if it is a very late period too ? Ack.

Blue, so sorry to hear about the early mc's, how very cruel.
If you get a bfp would you be able to get in for an early scan to get monitored? I really hope you get your sticky bfp soon.

We've been lucky to have 2DD, but even with that I think the odds are stacked against!
I'm not sure I can get an early scan prior to 7 weeks which would be around New Year I think.

We've had to wait until January to start trying for our first (mainly medical reasons), it's been a tough year waiting to TTC, but as of next month we can officially wave the flag and go for it! I'm just kidding, there isn't a flag... maybe I should get a flag?!

Nope, no strategy boris I was hoping for some tips on here! Don't really know where to start as my son, who was 11 last week, was concieved when i was on microgynon! So this is really my first time actually trying and up until now i haven't even been tracking my cycles or anything. Other than baby dancing i have no clue. Only stopped the pill after my july cycle but AF seems to be quite regular as soon as i stopped, on average i have a 28 day cycle. Never used opk but if after this cycle i'm still getting bfn i maybe try them out...Although i know nothing about them!

CD7 and really need to start using the opks in the next day or so. We are currently travelling on our way home for xmas so am a bit distracted but maybe being happily distracted will prove to be a good strategy whilst ttc this cycle?!! Fx!!!

boo (and everyone!) the SMEP has had good results if you'd like a plan (spermmeetseggplan.com). I used it last time i fell pregnant and fell in the first month of TTC so using it again this time.
There's not much to know about OPK's other than you can get them super cheap on Amazon, you dip them in your pee once a day and they tell you when your due to ovulate. When you get a positive it usually means you'll ovulate within the next 12 - 24 hours so helps to know exactly when you ovulate in your cycle.

Speaking of OPKs, i got a positive yesterday so DTD and it's even darker today! DP is at his works Christmas do but know's it's on whatever time he gets back!!

Well I was researching cheapie opks and some women were saying they had to not drink too many fluids, refrain from urinating for four hours and sometimes test twice a day to really pick up their LH surge! This simply isn't practical for me. Added to that they say don't use first morning urine and don't drink caffeinated drinks!

Do you think this is why even my control line is never very dark?

Anyhow, I'm using ovia and glow and they both reckon I'm fertile now, had a bit of ewcm (but this is my wtf cycle so who knows )I stopped spotting a week ago after erpc and we've dtd seven times since. I told DH all I want for Christmas is a baby so he's trying his best!
