Hope everyone's had a lovely Christmas? Xx

FluffyNut · 29/12/2014 14:35

I, can anyone offer any advice please? From 4dp et I had a cold, now I am 8 dp et and am suffering from diarreah after each time I eat (sorry about spelling and tmi) I am just doing my best to drink as much water as possible.

Do you think this is game over for me?

loopylou1984 · 29/12/2014 16:55

Hi Fluffy, I am by no means an expert, but didn't want to read and run. Maybe you've just picked up a bug, there's so much going round at the moment - keep drinking the water, my fingers are firmly crossed for you. hugs X

FluffyNut · 29/12/2014 17:38

Thanks Sammy. I called the clinic in the end and they think it's just a bug too. Thank you for replying. Hope you have had a lovely Christmas and ready to start the new year with a bang!

That's good Fluffy, I hope you're feeling better soon. Xx

Deeray · 29/12/2014 20:09

I hope everyone has had a nice Christmas. We have had a wonderfully relaxinG time. It's just so nice not going to work and getting a lie in every morning.

Fluffy. It could just be a bug or it could also be a very early pregnancy symptom. I know dodgy tummy can be an early sign. When will you test?

Sam. I too am at the lower end of healthy BMI. It's never been flagged as a problem. I'm actually at the heaviest I've ever been just now and my BMI is 20. It's reality hard to put on weight if you're naturally slim.

loopylou1984 · 29/12/2014 20:36

Deeray, mines 19... The GP had it down as 18.5 which is what made the specialist notice it. He has suggested trying to increase it to 20 so am trying my best! Smile X

Pikz · 29/12/2014 20:51

Hope everyone's had lovely Christmasses

TheTravellingLemon · 30/12/2014 13:06

Hope you all had a merry Christmas.

I'm due at the GP on Monday. They called to arrange a meeting to discuss the results of the 21 day blood test. The receptionist said that it was routine, but I thought they only called you in to discuss if there is something to discuss. Does this mean bad news? A due on Friday.

MuddyWellyNelly · 30/12/2014 16:59

Belated Merry Christmas wishes to everyone.

Fluffy, how are you doing, is the cold nearly away? Could be a good sign you know Wink. Good luck for OTD.

Travelling I'm sure it's just standard at your GP. But information in most cases is helpful, even if at first it looks like bad news.

Sammy your BMI is similar to mine, I was 19 at my midwife booking in appt. Quite a few of us have a low BMI but then that's perhaps not the best indicator! THat said, I heard it was only an issue if it affected your cycle.

Deeray, Christmas sounds wonderful.

All fine here as far as I can tell. 10 weeks today. Time is going very slowly indeed! Enjoying some time off and long lies though. Work is going to be hard next week.

Sorry for short catch up! Out tonight so need to go and get ready.

loopylou1984 · 30/12/2014 20:13

Thanks Nelly - I don't think it's an issue for me really, but it's the only thing I have control of at the moment so I'm going with it! Makes me feel less guilty about eating up all the Christmas too Wink

10 weeks! Eek! Although I have to say it seems time is going very slowly. How are you feeling? X

loopylou1984 · 31/12/2014 15:49

So the copy of the letter from consultant to gp just arrived and it turns out the test he was missing was day 1-3 FSH, LH - what is this?
He's asked GP for a copy or to do the test if it hasn't been done.
He says the next steps are to try for 4 more months and then have a HyCoSy

Hope everyone has some lovely plans for tonight? I'm in the 2ww but am planning on a few glasses of vino as I'm sure it wouldn't do too much harm even if we have (by some miracle) conceived right?? X

CritterPants · 31/12/2014 16:09

Fluffy good luck with your test tomorrow. The bug could be a good sign!

Sammy hope Project Fatso has been going well over Christmas. Could you ask your GP to get you the blood tests you need?

Muddy 10 weeks is a quarter of the way there, which is really quite a lot!

AFM all ok at 12 week scan. Relieved is an understatement, was having stress dreams about it last night. I'm travelling next week but just wanted to wish everyone a happy new year - I hope 2015 brings good luck for us all.

Donna, I can't remember how many years in you are? I lost the hope feeling about 3 years in. When I'm late now it doesn't even occur to me that I might be pregnant.

Sammy, that is a test at the start of the cycle to check your hormones are doing what they should to kick start a cycle. It's s standard blood test, a bit strange if the GP didn't do one. I was around BMI 18/19 for a long time. My weight crept up slightly over the last 18 months. I'm not sure if it's to do with the ivf or maybe just a consequence of getting older. I don't think I'm eating any differently. Weight is a funny thing, I know they say being obese causes problems ttc and so does being underweight but I have friends in both categories that have had no problems at all conceiving

Critter. I'm so happy for you. I know that you've had the worst possible year and so it's great that it will end on a high note.

Nelly, not long until the 12 week mark. What's your due date?

I hope everyone else is well. I've remembered that I really hate New Year's Eve. We should be going out but I'm not in the party mood. I hate the reflecting over previous year. I thought last year that maybe 2014 would be lucky but it wasn't to be and I've really ran out of positivity now. I can see 5 year ttc anniversary looming, with still no result.

Happy new year everyone!!

Critter and Deeray - to be honest I'm pretty sure they did do it. I had a blood test on day 3 and the nurse got confused and did the whole lot that she saw on the screen including the day 21 progesterone! Will arrange to see gp next week to check and get copies of all results!

Project fatso isn't going that well - I've been stuffing my face and my weight is exactly the same! Lol. Xx

loopylou1984 · 01/01/2015 08:44

Ps. Congrats on the scan Critter!!

Donna - hope work wasn't too awful in the end Smile

MuddyWellyNelly · 01/01/2015 21:34

Hi everyone, happpy new year. Hope everyone who wanted to celebrate did so, and everyone who wanted to avoid the pretence of a brilliant fresh start managed that, too. We watched a film and went to bed before midnight. Rock and roll Grin.

Just checking in to see if you did your test Fluffy - was today OTD?

Donna sorry for false hope :(. Those cycles are definitely the worst. I usually spot for 2-3 days so even lack of spotting is enough to get me excited.

Waves to everyone else. Hope 2015 brings everyone the result they hope for :)
