Hi all

Just catching up on the thread ... Sorry for your loss mamapo Sad

Congrats on your BFP huffs and job offer spinning Smile

CD 30 here, AF was due on the 4th, but ff has moved it to the 8th as I ov'd late. I'm 12 dpo, having lots of cramps, like pre AF cramps but stronger. I've given in and bought some heat pads which seem to be helping. If AF is going to show up I just wish it would hurry up, rubbish longest cycle yet....& yet I'm remaining pessimistically optimistic Hmm

Orangeisthenewbanana · 05/11/2014 19:56

Fingers and toes crossed for you Bovny. You and your DH really deserve a bfp after all that effort!

MissMrsMummy · 05/11/2014 19:57

Wow bovny you have been busy! Fx it pays off for you!

MissMrsMummy · 05/11/2014 19:58

You're not out yet sherbet! Fx

Frolicacid · 05/11/2014 19:58

Congratulations on the job offer spinning. Any idea which one, if either, you will take?

Frolicdog is either being very brave or is losing her hearing with old age. Either way, we have a peaceful pup tonight, which is good.
I hope sunbathing's cats aren't too upset. Poor things.

DH is better, so I may pounce on him again later. I suspect I have already ov'd, but I think I had a 'false surge' last cycle, stopped dtd and probably missed proper ov a few days later. Going to keep going for a good few days just in case the same happens this cycle.

Blueskygirl30 · 05/11/2014 20:02

Evening all,

Just catching up on the past couple of days!

MaMaPo I'm so sorry for your loss! I'm sure your grandad knew how loved he was and it would be great if you get a boy, lovely idea continuing his name on.

Spinning yeh my job is fab but I definitely didn't feel glamorous getting off the aeroplane at 0700 this morning having got out of bed at 0800 yesterday morning and only a couple of 30mins sleep since then! Congratulations on another job offer, that's great! I had a look at your chart and I don't think you've ovulated yet, keep DTD, and make sure your DH rustles up some good sessions for best quality swimmers! Wink

Sunbathing I can't believe how quickly time has gone for it to be almost scan time for you! how exciting!!

Frolic what kind of dog is Frolicdog? I have this image of this magic ovulation dog doing a crazy little dance whenever one of us ovulates and I need to put a breed to the image!!!

Congratulations Huff, wishing you a happy and healthy 8 months.

I'm so pleased, I got my positive opk today around midday and managed to DTD this afternoon after a quick nap. I did a spot of upside down cycling and am trying out a softcup since I've been up and about since then. Might see if we can DTD again tonight or tomorrow morning. So hopefully, after all that stressing, I've not missed my chance this month!

MrsGingerbread · 05/11/2014 20:06

Hello everyone!

I ran out of b6 - dh kindly picked some up today. He came back with 500 of them!

I hope I don't need that many - that's enough for the next year and a half!!

Right - now to read back to see what gossip I have missed :)

broodylicious · 05/11/2014 20:27

spinning, congrats on the job offer. By the law of sod, that bfp can't be far off Smile

So sorry I missed today's bfp! Congrats huff. May you have a wonderfully dull pregnancySmile

Gosh, you guys trying for dc4! I struggle with my one and although in desperate for dc2, I am also cacking it (ooh, an expression I've not used for a v long time!) at te thought of looking after a newborn and high maintenance toddler.

spinningirl10 · 05/11/2014 20:30

Haha MrsG yes I hope you don't need all of those! Could you take some back and swap them for something else?

Bluesky, ooh I'm rubbish on so little sleep and yay for +opk and dtd, fx you caught the eggGrin

Thank you ladies, I am going to take the first job if the hours suit. I have to see them on Saturday so hopefully it will work out.

spinningirl10 · 05/11/2014 20:31

Broody, thank you, yes I'm hoping the law of sod will kick in nowGrin

Beansprout30 · 05/11/2014 20:35

Congrats to huff!!

mistywillow17 · 05/11/2014 20:36

Oh bugger it. AF has arrived. I knew the evil witch was coming, but it's a kick in the teeth all the same. On to the next bus - and hope, in the nicest way possible, not to see any of you there
Good luck all - onwards and upwards!

MaMaPo · 05/11/2014 20:43

Oh, gutting news Misty. I'm sorry to hear it.

Pikz · 05/11/2014 20:44

Spinning and blue sky we may be all getting our positive opk now due to the full moon Grin

tessiegirl · 05/11/2014 20:48

Ah, just reading back through the last few posts and I am so envious of those of you all cosy in your warm houses listening to the fireworks outside...a proper winter evening! I am in Sarajevo and miss these events!!

kissinggiraffe · 05/11/2014 20:50

beautician I could get bfp on 17th too. My cycles are usually 28 or 29 days and 17th would be day 28. My youngest is also 18 months, she's a darling but very very high maintenance! How many cycles have you been ttc #4?

victoria and dozy I think when you have a couple of DC any extras don't really make much difference. They just fit in (or get lost amongst the chaos!) so we may as well go for #4. Although I am hoping I feel 'complete' then. Not sure my poor body could take any more Grin Grin

frolic I feel for you and frolicdog. We have a very brave gundog cowering under the dining table shaking like a leaf right now Sad (also yes get cracking with the Christmas shipping. It's only 7 weeks away Shock Shock )

Cariad2014 · 05/11/2014 21:01

Reckon I ov'd today so the 2ww starts tomorrow (oh joy!) Not feeling overly optimistic as this is only cycle 1 of ttc after my ectopic in September, but we'll see...

Terrys - glad you seem to be getting ov twinges on your good side. I never get them so am completely in the dark as to whether I'm ov'ing from my good side or not. I asked my acupuncturist whether it was possible to induce ov from one side over the other but she said they couldn't be that specific. That having been said, I'm liking Spinning's suggestion of holding a hot water bottle over the side you want to ov, so I'm tempted to try that next cycle.

Huff - congrats on the BFP.

bovnydazzler - Awesome news on the positive opk. Loving the fact that you're embarking on a 5 hour round trip to dtd - what a fabulous story that would make if you get your BFP this month. Keeping everything crossed for you.

Waves at April my South London neighbour. Temps sound promising. Really hope this is your cycle.

Frolicacid · 05/11/2014 21:09

Here she is bluesky - cheering on all the ovulation a and BFP's. She purrs like a cat when excited.
kissing, our old cocker was from a working family but was scared of every noise in the world apart from the rustling of a sweet wrapper! I hope yours is ok tonight.

If anyone recognises her from my million Facebook photos, please don't out me. And please ignore all the info about my sex life and cervical mucus, ta very much!!

Sarajevo misty - a far cry from bangers and bonfires I'm sure!

Fx for the law of sod spinning. I have so much booze that I'm counting on not being able to drink over christmas!

Let's get Pregvember off with a bang! November BFP bus (thread 2)
broodylicious · 05/11/2014 21:10

Did someone say Christmas?! Whoopee!! I. Cannot. Wait. I'm doing loads of handmade stuff this year - soaps, candles, bath bombs and will be doing little hampers for my friends. Channeling my inner domestic goddess Smile

broodylicious · 05/11/2014 21:13

Aaah hello frolicdog Smile lovely xx

kissinggiraffe · 05/11/2014 21:17

broody I love doing home made gifts. My family don't really appreciate that and would much prefer a gift voucher of some sort and always look a bitHmm when I hand them a fabulous hamper of home made goodies. But I don't care. I love it!

kissinggiraffe · 05/11/2014 21:26

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 05/11/2014 21:27
