Hi ladies, really need your help please. DH out and couldnt resist poas, have just had this on a super drug - I've heard about Evap lines etc so would you say in experience this is an evap line or a faint positive??! Really would be grateful for your thoughts?

Frolicdog you are gorgeous and I can definitely imagine you doing an ovulation dance and a BFP purr Frolic I occasionally worry I'll say something and 'out' myself on here too, I don't want everyone in RL knowing how baby crazy I am!

broody I love christmas too! I've already done mos of my christmas shopping! Handmade gifts are great, I wish I had more talent to be able to create something good!

I think that symptom spotting is mandatory from a few hours post ovulation kissing.

Love your present ideas broody. My lovely best friend makes all sorts and I always love getting her gifts.

cariad, I'm pretty sure I ov'd Sunday/Monday, so joining you in the 2ww. It also means I can test around the 16th - 4 days earlier than expected. Yippee!

ceds cross post there. That looks like a BFP to me! Did the line come up in the time limit? I think evap lines tend not to be pink.

Evening ladies, AF finally caught up with me tonight after a BFN yesterday which is so odd as I'm sure I had symptoms this month! Ah well. It's really disappointing isn't it and I'm starting to wonder what we're doing wrong. Consoling myself with a or two and the apprentice's guide to tours hilarious!

How lovely that so many of you make your own presents, very clever. I once made everyone a hamper when we lived abroad.......wanders off to bed wondering what I could make for Christmas presents

I love all your kind words about frolic dog's cuteness! You know they say that dogs look like their owners, right?! Obviously I am super cute too!

I'm going to try and hang fire on testing until 14dpo cariad. I hate the bfn's- so demoralising. I think we will take a break until the new year if it is bfn. I have been taking ttc way more seriously than I ever intended. So we will enjoy get pissedover Christmas and then start again.

Thanks ladies for all the encouragement, you're superstars - I am going to test again with a first response tomorrow just to make double sure, but yes the line came up within the time limit. Any idea when to test with a clear blue digi because am I right in thinking they aren't as sensitive? Wow - I don't think I'll get any sleep tonight! X

cariad I haven't felt ovulation at all since a really painful one in my first cycle post ectopic so I don't know why but I am thinking positive. I also think I ov-ed today so we must be POAS-twins!

broody my labour with DD was amazing, I had a wonderful home birth with no drugs and I remember saying after she was born.. "I have to do that again" Very different to DS's birth. And I do want to do it again!!

Terrys - glad I've got a POAS twin.

Frolic - we're also planning to give next cycle a miss if this one isn't successful. The past 6 months have been super stressful and I really feel I could really do with letting my hair down over the festive period.

Only 3 days until AF is due and I can feel myself really really wanting a BFP. I'm a bit scared about how down I'll be if AF arrives instead, especially as I'll be in NZ without my DH with me.

Had some irrational fury this morning that I'm hoping wasn't pms. To be fair I am quite sleep deprived and stressed so hopefully that's all it was.

Kissing I'm on cycle one of ttc. I was hoping to catch the fertile surge after coming off the pill like I did with ds3.

I've almost done my Christmas shopping. Only thing about ttc at this time of year is that I won't be able to drink over Christmas but at least we will save money If I don't fall pregnant before Christmas we will probably take a month off and start ttc again at the end of January

angela and missmrs do u count your luteal phase from ov up to AF or up to the spotting? I'm on cd34 today which is the longest I've ever had :( and had spotting for 5 days. So annoying. Was considering poas later but changed my mind as I'm 99% sure AF will arrive it's just obv going on some sort of detour thru the country in the meantime!

hope frolicdog behaved. Super cute photo :) I've been at work overnight but my DP sent me a message saying our cat had come in the house smelling of bonfire so goodness knows what he'd been up to. Obv wasnt phased by the fireworks which surprises me coz he jumps at the slightest thing usually.

Spinning I forgot to say congrats on the job. I have just started a new job and we were going to start ttc after Christmas but I figured it won't really make much difference. I applied for so many jobs recently that I have another interview on Monday. I love my new job but thought there's no harm seeing what else is on offer.
