Lol spinning at your DH's innocence. I remember when we were ttc dd and my dh said something similar. Such a shame they don't know the half of it!

victoria401 · 05/11/2014 16:37

No I don't temp genni. These pains are really bad right now. am meant to be doing week 2 of a beginners running club in 45 mins and I feel a bit funny from the pain :-( I can't miss week 2! We are doing couch to 5k by xmas!

MissMrsMummy · 05/11/2014 16:40

Aargh! Just lost a long post!

angelaham I have the same problem with spotting as you and also had a slightly longer cycle last time with less spotting. Not on B6 alone but taking pregnancy vits which contain it so hopefully that's helping. Do you have a short LP? Mine is usually 9 days.

mamapo so sorry for your loss. I do hope you can use your grandfather's name; what a lovely idea.

spinning any signs of ov yet? Are you using opks? I finally had a feint line today on my ics. Also bloating and lower back pain yest which I normal get a few days before. Hope something happens for you soon!

treacle- sorry you are having a rough time with work, really hope it gets better soon.

MissMrsMummy · 05/11/2014 16:41

Good luck with the running victoria I have been running too and doing local parkrun.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 05/11/2014 17:31

Hi Kissing snap we are trying for dc 4 as well. Only managed to dtd twice and my BFP is due on 17th.

StowFrenchy · 05/11/2014 18:01

Hi all, oh my, such a busy thread! Just wanted to say hello all and keeping my fx for the ones that are due to test tomorrow! Xx

victoria401 · 05/11/2014 18:16

Caved in and took paracetamol before my run. That was really ouchy, only had ov pain that bad once before. I don't think dh will dtd tonight. He's tired bless him. He wasn't the one running 3k tho was he!

Blimey girls, 4dcs! I'm having enough trouble producing 1! My best mate has 3 and looks run ragged. I've got them for the entire day Sunday whilst her and her dh go to a wedding, Eeeeeek! Daunting!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 05/11/2014 18:23

Haha Victoria my dcs are 9,8 and 18 months. I had the first two 17 months apart and now I feel like ds3 needs a playmate. This will have to be the last though as we are stretching the budget as it is. I hope I feel done after baby number 4. Smile

Dozygirl · 05/11/2014 18:24

I always wanted four children......until I realised how hard it is being a grown up! I find it hard enough just looking after myself haha. I miss being a kid and having my mother do everything for me.

Orangeisthenewbanana · 05/11/2014 18:28

Just popping in quickly. Congratulations Huffs! Great news Smile

victoria401 · 05/11/2014 18:31

My friends kids are 8, 5 and 3.5. They are sweet kids and I love them to bits :-D I'm hoping they can amuse themselves a lot of the time as I don't think I can play all day! I'm used to the quiet life at the moment!

Jcandy · 05/11/2014 18:33

Hi everyone!

I've had a rubbish day at work where nothing has gone right Confused Hope everyone else's has been better! Congratulations huff!

So I got a peak reading on my cb dual opk this morning on cd10! Waaaaayy too early compared to previous 2cycles. Negative on an IC opk this afternoon. What's going on?.?.. Hmm

Frolicacid · 05/11/2014 18:40

Congratulations huffs Thanks

You are all freaking me out talking about christmas shopping! I suppose I should get started.

spinning lol at you DH. Mine is the same - he seems to be putting extra effort into dtd. It's like he'd be disappointed in himself if the baby is made with anything less than great sex! Mind you, his cold this week may have cured him of that plan. I think he does feel quite heroic for managing quickies whilst poorly, bless him. I won't burst his bubble by pointing out that I'm the hero for letting him touch me in such a snotty state!

I hope everyone is enjoying bonfire night. We will be staying in with frolicdog who isn't very keen on big bangs.

spinningirl10 · 05/11/2014 18:49

Victoria, well done on the running, you'll be amazed at how you improve.
Hope you enjoy the day with your friends dc Grin
Oh and if you can get dh to dtd again I would go for it.....one for luck as they say!

Yes Kitty is the temping guru so I'm going with what she says Grin

Fireworks going off all around but I've had such a mad day and ds watched a few from the window and isn't bothered about going out. I had another interview today and was offered a job! Must be on a roll, having not really had a 'proper' job for quite some time I'm feeling chuffed that I've had 2 interviews and been offered both jobsSmile

Have got to talk on Skype tonight with my German students parents!! Think I'll leave the talking to dpGrin

spinningirl10 · 05/11/2014 18:53

Jcandy, sorry you've had a crap dayThanks could you have caught the end of your peak this morning? Maybe that's why you got a negative this evening. I would dtd Grin

Frolic, men are funny, I think dp is putting in more effort since we saw the fertility doctor......she just repeated everything I'd already told him about ttc but I think he thought I'd made it up to get more sexSmile

Treaclepie19 · 05/11/2014 18:59

Hi all :)
Thanks broody, I'm not sure what I'd want to do to be honest! Sounds like you've got a good plan.

Good luck with your scan sunbathing, when is it?

Cd15 for me and 6th flashing smiley today.
Is history repeating itself? Cycle I got my bfp I had 9 flashing smileys.

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 05/11/2014 19:03

I'm with frolicdog on the firework front, don't like big bangs... fireworks are pretty but they make me jump so much that I get cramp! not a weirdo or anything

Treacle let's hope so! 6 is a lot :)

MissMrsMummy · 05/11/2014 19:11

Ooh congrats huffs I missed your bfp! Great news :-D

toothachereturns · 05/11/2014 19:22

Evening all!
This is thee longest wait so far. Bored bored bored. Sad
No fireworks for the toothaches tonight.... It's too cold (it's to be -2 here tonight) and we'd have to park miles away. So cozy in front of the fire it is.
Congrats Huff! Cycle 1 too.... Very lucky. SmileSmileSmile Enjoy every moment. Smile

Treaclepie19 · 05/11/2014 19:35

Haha thanks want, more likely it's because I'm not ovulating but hey.
Congrats huffs :)

angelaham · 05/11/2014 19:38

Dozy - i always hope the spotting is implantation bleeding but deep down no its af on its way, so disheartening

MissMrsMummy, my LP is around 10 days, which i don't think is too bad, hoping that the vitamin b complex with the pregnancy supplements do the trick, it makes me feel not alone knowing other people are suffering with it too,

Bovnydazzler · 05/11/2014 19:54

Evening all,
Just checking in.

Not many POASers yet, hoping there will be some success stories to come!

Blueberry, sorry 1st clomid cycle wasn't successful, I know there is a temptation to assume it will work 1st time but there is every chance yours will still be coming, will the docs increase your dose or keep you on 50mg as you ovulated? Typical that clomid symptoms mimic pregnancy ones (I'll bear that in mine next month)

I've been lurking but trying to keep off the thread to save obsessing. I largely considered myself out this cycle until I get clomid next cycle. BUT now on CD31 and this morning got my 1st positive OPK since March (2 tests a day except on periods!). I've also got much more CM than usual. My DH was due to be away tonight with work, we've agreed he will do a 5 hour round tip just so we can DTD tonight!! Is that ridiculous?! I just feel that this is my first positive OPK in 9 months, we have to try!! We have DTD loads this cycle, CD 9,11,13,15,17,19,21,24,26,28,30 (I just don't know when/if ovulating so didn't want to chance missing it) an planing it every night till the weekend now I've a positive OPK.

Don't want to get my hopes up too much, ovulating doesn't mean pregnancy but feel I've waited a while to get a positive! Clomid starts next month if not, which should at least bring cycle length down from 50 days!

Let's get Pregvember off with a bang! November BFP bus (thread 2)
MissMrsMummy · 05/11/2014 19:54

spinning well done on 2 job offers and hopefully the good luck will come in threes!
