The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

So sorry English Sad

Congrats to all the BFPs.

DulcetMoans · 01/11/2014 08:31

chasing and english, it is all so unfair and I am so sorry for you. I hope you both get help and support to understand why this is happening to help prevent it happening again. english, I understand you need a break but I hope you do come back and with good news.

Take care of yourselves.

Brummiegirl15 · 01/11/2014 09:03

Oh English I'm so sorry. I really hoped this time it would stick. Completely understand bowing out of mn for a while - hopefully we'll see you back with good news. But get medical help and go from there. Thinking of you

NewEraNewMindset · 01/11/2014 09:08

English are you absolutely sure it's a chemical? I understand the need to take some time out. I did it myself and then name changed. I'm an old timer now and it's painful but we just have to keep going Sad

We are going to be looking at fertility treatment ourselves in the new year so I totally understand your mindset. Huge hugs xx

ignominious · 01/11/2014 09:09

English I'm so sorry. I know what you mean about leaving. Sometimes a break is necessary. I hope the next one comes soon and sticks.

Daisy sorry about AF.

Advice please: woman who baby bombed me yesterday, we're supposed to spend the day with today. I was looking forward to it before I knew. Should I go or send Dh? I am not feeling super well so do have an excuse. There will be no opportunity to leave early.

ignominious · 01/11/2014 09:11

Also Dh when I told him about faint lines on test reminded me to not get too excited because it might not work out. Really? Do I need telling? Hmm

Thepurplegiraffe · 01/11/2014 09:37

English I am so so sorry, it was looking so positive. This whole thing is just terrifying and so awful when it doesn't work out. Thinking of you.

Sorry for af Daisy.

ignominious are you planning on doing another test or waiting? I haven't done another one yet but will tomorrow.

I felt like I was the one dropping the baby bomb last night as one friend had a mc in Jan and the other is just finding out that ivf is not going well. Felt awful.

ignominious · 01/11/2014 09:55

Yes did two more ICs still faint line. Worried they're broken tests.

Treaclepie19 · 01/11/2014 10:21

I know I've already said it bit I am so so sorry.
I hope you get support and your rainbow baby xxx

Yesterday's tests on the left today's on the right. Today is cd28 and FF thinks AF due today but last cycle was 30 days. I should have bought a stupid FR and spared you these ridiculous posts sorry.

Cariad2014 · 01/11/2014 10:57

Oh English - I was just thinking about you this morning. I'm so so sorry that this has happened. Life can be so horribly unfair at times. Totally understand why you might want to take a break from mn for a while. Enormous hugs Flowers as Treacle says, I hope you get the support you need in RL (both medically and emotionally) and that you get your rainbow baby.

Monten · 01/11/2014 11:00

Oh english am so so sorry. Life is so very hard sometimes. But one day you will hold your baby in your arms. I hope to see you back with good news really soon.

chasing am so sorry too. What an emotional roller coaster. You must be exhausted. As others have said, it could just be that your levels are taking a while to drop, which is very normal. If you do end up having to have a surgical procedure though, in my experience they were physically very straight forward.

ignomious I'm not an ic expert but those look like lines to me x

charlieis30 · 01/11/2014 11:06

pma for me today, ewcm noticeable for the first time ever (incl bfp cycles) so im going to jump the dh tonight Wink i was convinced id ov'd early so feeling v positive.

im so sorry for those of us having a tough time. stay strong, there are good days and bad xx

Cariad2014 · 01/11/2014 11:10

Treacle - am so envious of your night out - meeting Noel Fielding on Halloween sounds fab!

Ignominious - I can't see very well on my phone, but the lines on the right look darker to me. You should deffo invest in a digi/ FRER though!!

Chasing - sorry you're having such a rubbish time. I really hope the blood tests show your hormone levels are dropping and that you don't need any medical/ surgical intervention. Big hugs.

Thepurplegiraffe · 01/11/2014 11:57

Ignominious I can't see the lines as on the app but sounds like you should go get an frer!

Brummiegirl15 · 01/11/2014 11:59

Ignominious I always use frer or digi so I don't have to worry about understanding the tests. I literally need it spelt out to me!!! The £10 is worth it for me

MaGratgarlik1983 · 01/11/2014 13:02

English I'm so sorry - I really hope it all works out for you.

Thepurplegiraffe · 01/11/2014 13:15

Agree with Brummie. The stress of not knowing for sure is too much.

Treaclepie19 · 01/11/2014 14:00

Hehe cariad I'm not gonna lie. It was amazing and he is so sweet and gorgeous. Tempted to go and see him again in november.
Tonight I'm at a halloween party as Maleficent :)

Thanks for all the support.

English I am so, so sorry

Thepurplegiraffe · 01/11/2014 14:13

How are you feeling Chasing?

chasingtherainbow · 01/11/2014 14:28

Just a bit sad all over again really. Hopefully the results show a low hcg count tomorrow and I can just start moving on, again.

I guess I'm officially having a WTF cycle.. any idea how long my next AF might take to arrive? Mw said I won't ovulate till the hcg is zero.

Thepurplegiraffe · 01/11/2014 14:31

Sorry Chasing, it must be so hard to have to deal with it all twice. Hope things get back to normal very soon and you can begin to move on.

sarahlou20 · 01/11/2014 15:13

Ignominious - I'd say they are definite positives. That's just what my IC stick looked like on Thursday morning. I wasn't convinced that I was seeing what I thought I was seeing so tried a Clearblue Digital with the same sample of urine and got a lovely 'Pregnant 1-2'. Smile

sarahlou20 · 01/11/2014 15:21

Oh no English, I'm very sorry to hear about your bleed. Take care of yourself xx

Chasing - I had an ERPC in June and AF came exactly six weeks later.
