This bus is for anyone ttc hoping to get a BFP in December.

I know it's super early, but as I'm currently on a 2 month enforced break from ttc following a ruptured ectopic, December is the next bus I can catch.

Do feel free to come and join me on the journey.

tessiegirl · 02/12/2014 10:21

Morning all!! Just been reading back... Grin

Wow!! Blueberry!!! Absolutely fantastic news, I am so pleased for you!

Misty Congratulations!! Loved the idea of you smuggling your wee in a miniature wine bottle! The things we do... Loved the idea of the 'Dad' xmas card, really lovely.

Welcome fairground and good luck

MrsE ahhhh the scan photo is gorgeous!

Frolic - can I ask how much and how often are you taking the medicine? Have you still been taking EPO too? How much of that do you take?

I am 5DPO here, no symptoms to report apart from occasional small cramps.

gennibugs · 02/12/2014 10:21

blueberry!!!!!!

Words cannot express how happy I am for you. CONGRATULATIONS Grin Grin Grin

I am all teary eyed!

clairexxx · 02/12/2014 10:39

Sorry to bother you all again but I'm wondering now if my first morning test was effected by drinking water in the night. I've done another test and it's darker than yesterday. I've got an appointment with the doctor on Thursday just incase AF stays away and really just to find out why I keep getting these faint lines!

Congratulations blueberry, am so happy for you.

CD 22 here, 5 dpo and nada in the way of symptoms really. I will be really surprised if I get a bfp this month.

spinningirl10 · 02/12/2014 10:42

Claire, I've read here before that lots of ladies get faint lines for a while until the hormone levels rise and then they get darker. A darker second test today is good.

Blueberry, have you told dh?

MrsExtraOrdinary · 02/12/2014 10:44

Spinning I think she may have fainted with the shock! Wink Hope you're ok blueberry! I gave the penis dragons the heads up, they are all over the moon for you too xx

spinningirl10 · 02/12/2014 10:48

Haha yes I think you could be right MrsEGrin

xBlueberry88x · 02/12/2014 10:48

Thanks ladies I dont really believe it at the moment will get a clear blue later.

Spinning I came down stairs and made out it was a bfn and cuddled him for a bit before showing him the test. Hes been very quiet lol.

Claire Is that an ovulation test? I get pale lines gradually getting darker until ovulation and the back to paler the day after. You can get pale lines any time of the month because lh is always in your system.

Misty Congrats hun!

xBlueberry88x · 02/12/2014 10:49

Haha MrsE its so surreal I just can't believe its finally happened!

mistywillow17 · 02/12/2014 10:51

victoria401 · 02/12/2014 10:52

Omg! blueberry! Finally! I had high hopes for you this month my lovely! Congratulations!

Good luck to anyone else in limbo land.

I was too shattered to jump on dh last night :-( cd13 today and starting to get niggles, need to dtd tonight...

clairexxx · 02/12/2014 10:52

Blueberry I'm so excited for you! It's really made me smile that you got a bfp! It's a pregnancy test in the pic. I'm 12dpo and have been getting faint lines since 10dpo. It's driving me crazy as the clear blue digital one said not pregnant at 10 dpo. The lines are coming up within the time limit. I just want it to be a bfp so badly! x

spinningirl10 · 02/12/2014 10:53

Ah it must be a big shock for you both after all this time. It will take a while to sink in I imagine. The clomid did good Grin

Shootthemoon · 02/12/2014 10:55

claire, if you are testing before AF due then the lines will definitely be faint. The tests only react to the presence of HCG, so unless a test is defective you can't really get a false positive (with the exception of certain medications). Unlike ovulation hormones, HCG is only usually present in pregancy, so it's not like ov sticks where you need them to be dark.

HCG rises quickly in early pregnancy so that's why some people worry about lines getting darker, but if you are getting lines (and I can see them!) within the allocated time, then you are definitely pregnant. They won't all be defective after all :)

People do have complications where eggs are fertilised but implantation doesn't quite happen, and AF arrives after all - this is why some people prefer to wait until they are officially late, to avoid the worry about that.

But if you are getting lines then you can definitely say 'today, I am pregnant'. I just asked because I thought your stats in the list said AF due on the 6th - in which case that would be an obvious reason why the line would be so faint!

xBlueberry88x · 02/12/2014 10:55

Claire clear blue are not sensitive at all especially not that early on definitely try a frer although I used a waitrose own

spinningirl10 · 02/12/2014 10:55

Claire, I just looked at your test. That's definitely a line, those ic's often have faint lines! I would get a frer but it looks like a bfp to meGrin

Rainy34 · 02/12/2014 10:56

Aww congratulations Blueberry, you deserve it xx

xBlueberry88x · 02/12/2014 10:57

Spinning He took alot of persuading to try in the first place and after 20 months I he expected it not to happen bless him.

Shootthemoon · 02/12/2014 10:59

blueberry honestly, you can believe it! I promise!

All hail clomid :D

What's your due date then blueberry? August baby? Fabulous!

clairexxx · 02/12/2014 11:09

Thanks for explaining that Shootthemoon. The app I'm using to track everything predicts the 6th for AF but going on my cycle (and I'm always regular, give or take a day) I should be expecting it tomorrow. Sorry for the tmi bit I'm about to write, I always get a light brown discharge a few days before I'm due on. I read it's old blood so I've been looking out for it and nothing! I have a medical condition so I know I will need to take extra care if I am pregnant. I had to stop my medication completely as it can be harmful in pregnancy. I'm so pleased that I've "met" you all on here. xx

Shootthemoon · 02/12/2014 11:15

claire, nothing is too TMI for this bus :D

It all sounds like things are going in the right direction for you - apps can confuse things a bit so you're right to listen to your body. I guess it depends on what the default settings in an app are and how long you've been tracking data! Most digi tests require a much higher level of HCG to register than cheapies, so it's not uncommon that they can give a BFN at the same time you are getting BFP elsewhere. Your HCG levels probably hadn't risen enough.

Honestly though, positive line = BFP = pregnant!

xBlueberry88x · 02/12/2014 11:16

Ok stats

EDD will be 10th August

This was cycle 20 but 2nd on clomid

Positive opk was November 16th cd 14

We dtd cd 7,10, 11, 12, 14, 15,19

Cycle was different this month had creamy cm internally since ovulation and my boobs didnt start hurting until AF was due, I also has nausea pretty much from ovulation.

Only other symptoms were hunger, hot flushes and spots especially on my chest.

I think thats it!

gennibugs · 02/12/2014 11:20

A summer baby blueberry - wonderful! I bet you can't believe it! I think I'll be in shock the day I see two lines!!

All the bfps are always wonderful but the long termers are especially sweet. Smile

Shootthemoon · 02/12/2014 11:30

that's so wonderful blueberry - hope the first trimester isn't too horrible to you! I definitely did not glow in pregnancy - my skin was awful and I had heartburn from day 1 to the day after my DD was born. I hope pregnancy is considerably kinder to you now that you have got there Smile

Hang on a minute, why am I here again....? Wink
