The December 2014 bus is here armed with mulled wine, mince pies, mistletoe and a sack-full of BFPs

This bus is for anyone ttc hoping to get a BFP in December.

I know it's super early, but as I'm currently on a 2 month enforced break from ttc following a ruptured ectopic, December is the next bus I can catch.

Do feel free to come and join me on the journey.

Ahhhh MrsE, what a gorgeous scan pic......I can't guess from that pic but I'll say a girl.....cos there's lots of boys in your houseSmile
Are you feeling any better?

spinningirl10 · 01/12/2014 20:53

Ooh Misty. Another soy baby, great news. It'll be hard keeping it to yourself for a few days!

Frolicacid · 01/12/2014 20:54

Evening all!

Lots of people in limbo. Fx it all turns out positive.

I'm on cd 14 and just had a bit of ewcm, so ovulation can't be far off. TMI ALERT. I have been taking cough medicine and it seems to have worked increasing my general discharge over the past few days. Hopefully there will be loads more!

I'm feeling super duper emotional today. Not sure if it's ovulation (no positive opk yet), Monday blues or the text I got from my oldest friend telling me she has gone into labour.

Whatever the reason, I'm struggling to feel sexy, but know we should try to dtd so there is something waiting if the egg drops in the next 24 hours Wink

Frolicacid · 01/12/2014 20:56

Lovely scan pic mrsE. Congratulations Flowers

What?! No poas at 10dpo? You are cured spinning!! Blimey, I'm impressedSmile

Yeah, I'll be ten weeks on Christmas Day, 12 weeks on jan 8 - annoying as I'll miss a lovely Christmas announcement but as the entire house is in a total state thanks to the rewire last week and our kitchen won't be fitted until the first week of January, I thought I'd do a belated Christmas get together/housewarming/new kitchen show off celebration and announce it then instead (god willing all is ok, of course!) So my Christmas cracker idea may still be on...Wink

Hiya blueberry, how are you getting on with the clomid? Is it messing with you or working it's magic? I think I may have seen you announce your ovulation? Clever ovariesSmile

Where's the lovely treacle?

xBlueberry88x · 01/12/2014 21:41

Broody Clomids made me ovulate twice so far....currently 14dpo AF was due yesterday or today no sign yet just cramps.
Have you told anyone yet?

broodylicious · 01/12/2014 21:54

Fantastic stuff. Really hoping for your bfp soon hun. No, we've not told anyone yet. Dying to but holding out til 12 weeks to tell family and close friends, later on to do a Facebook or wider announcement and telling others whenever we see them.

spinningirl10 · 01/12/2014 21:56

Not too long to wait then Broody, sounds very busy in your house but the January party and baby announcement will be fab. And yes, do the crackersGrin

Treaclepie19 · 01/12/2014 21:58

I'm here broody! :) Hello!
So glad to hear all is going well. Your announcing party sounds lovely :)

GuessHowMuch · 01/12/2014 22:21

Hi everyone! Jumping on from the November bus. Af due yesterday but nothing yet. Will test on Friday if she's still AWOL by then but I'm not really hopeful. Been baking mince pies and eating them all day. Swollen tummy a symptom?! Wink

Dozygirl · 01/12/2014 22:52

Congrats misty!!

Moraglebeaux · 01/12/2014 22:57

As I said before I'm kinda new to this whole thing and I don't have any friends who have kids (I'm 24 and the prospect of having children makes most of my mates grab their stuff and start sprinting before you've even finished your sentence) so I don't really have anybody to talk to about this stuff. DP is as supportive as he can be but he has the poise and tact of a brick.

My ovia app said I was due to ovulate on 31/10/14 but the tests I was doing were negative until 6/11/14 and 7/11/14 when they came out with a bit more than faint positives but they werent darker than the control line. I'm not on medication and I had my implant taken out at the beginning of the year. I'm usually pretty regular, maybe out by a day or two. I'm now on day 45 of my cycle and still getting negative tests. I don't know if anybody else here is weirdly superstitious but I've convinced myself that if I test before Thursday AF will come so I won't be testing before then. We DTD twice a day from 31/10/14 - 9/11/14 just in case. Can ovulation tests be like pregnancy tests in the sense that stuff is going on but your hormones are just too low to detect it properly? I've been tired, put off smells, had heartburn, been ridiculously gassy (sorry), sore boobs, sore nipples, slight twinges down there. I AM STUMPED and I rang the walk in centre today and they had a 6 hour wait. Hmm
Sorry for this excessively long post but it's probably bored you all so much that you're all ready for bed now Grin

Nordicmom · 01/12/2014 23:24

Waiting on edge here 7 dpo on my first soy cycle...

laurasdream · 01/12/2014 23:43

Mor when did you have your last Af? Maybe you ovulated later than you think…I really hope you get answers soon x

Nordic KMFX I really hope you finally get a BFP

laurasdream · 01/12/2014 23:49

Misty yay! Massive congrads x I am delighted for you Flowers

MrsE wow! Fab scan pic Smile oh how adorable Flowers

Good luck to those waiting for a BFP x

Nordicmom · 01/12/2014 23:54

Thanks Laura, been AWOL a bit . Had enough of it all for a while but I wanted to give the soy a go or two.
Congrats on the great scan Mrse !

Moraglebeaux · 02/12/2014 01:16

Finished my last AF on OCT 23rd :-/ maybe I did. I don't know. This is all really confusing plus everything I've read on the Internet contradicts other articles. My my and to think, I thought this was going to be simple.

JessieMcJessie · 02/12/2014 02:40

Moraglebeaux "We DTD twice a day from 31/10/14 - 9/11/14 just in case."

Jesus, that's some effort! But then I just read that you are both only 24 Smile.

If your last AF ended on 23/10, don't think Ovia would have had you ovulating on 31/10, that's at least a week too early. It is more likely that you ovulated around the time that the OPKs had the faint positive. From what I have read the big surge can be quite short so maybe you just missed it if you only tested once every 24 hours?

Working backwards, if you are currently at the stage of pregnancy between conceiving and being able to get a positive test, you would have to be no more than 12-14 dpo. That would put you ovulating around 18-20/11. Did you DTD around that time?

On the other hand if you did ovulate around 7th November then you'd be almost 21 dpo so would be v unusual not to have got a positive by now.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 02/12/2014 03:08

Thank you Nordic and laura Thanks
