This bus is for anyone ttc hoping to get a BFP in December.

I know it's super early, but as I'm currently on a 2 month enforced break from ttc following a ruptured ectopic, December is the next bus I can catch.

AF arrived today so I've officially been booted off the November bus. We've decided not to ttc in December (mainly because I'm petrified of another ectopic and losing my remaining tube) and so don't want to risk being in the very early stages of pregnancy over Christmas.

Hoping to try and relax a bit this month and not think too much about ttc (as it has become a bit of an obsession since we first started ttc in May). I will nevertheless be popping on from time to time to cheer you all on and wave my pom poms at all the BFPs.

I also hope, in the nicest possible way, not to see any of you on the January bus. Onwards to cycle 7 I go (oh joy!)

Hi guys feeling so stressed this morning :( im up early with crazy things going through my head so went to the loo to check for af and my cm is completely clear so i thought i will take a test, but I don't even know what to make of the result :(

Hopping on after having to depart the pregvember bus. I'm in two minds whether to ttc this month as I don't know whether to just enjoy getting merry over Christmas. But at the same time if I wait until the January bus I'll be due late October if I get a BFP and that's a bit close to December for me considering I have ds1s birthday Christmas Eve as well as Christmas.

Anyway for now as I think DH wants to carry on ttc #4 cycle 2 BFP due December 26th. So in theory I can still have a few drinkies

Can anyone recommended a thermometer for temping as I think ill give that a go this month

Ok so not looking at it again now im passed my 5min window but im sure its a pinkish line!!! I would have assumed it would be dark if i was pregnant as my period should have been sunday :S I took a closer picture what do you think? What do I do now?

mel ics are notoriously crap at showing a proper line get a frer there does see to be a line there but a frer will give a definite answer

Omg Mel that is a LINE! Clear as day!!

Have you got FMU left in a tub? If so, break out a frer. As the line is a bit faint and took a while to turn up, you may get negatives on tests which need high doses of HCG, so don't try a digital just yet. But there is definitely a second line in the right place :)

Thanks blueberry, they were all I had im and I was scared to buy a better one yesterday in case in jixed it :( whats a frer test? is that like clear blue or something? Sorry my heads all in a tizzy :S x

Sorry to hear of AF cariad and I think missing out Dec is a wise move.
I have been woken by crippling AF pains - have taken co-codamol it's so bad. Really unusual!

No sorry i threw it away I think I will have to buy one and wait till tomorrow morning which may send me crazy lol, plus then I cant ring the doctors till monday :( Not that ive got a clue what to say when I ring lol, soooo hope im not getting excited for nothing I've never wanted anything more in my whole life x

You don't really need to ring the GP unless you have medical conditions affected by pg, or other concerns. They usually just say call back when you are 8 weeks. GPs don't verify pregnancy so the first actual verification you get is the 12 week scan!

I think frer is... First response early response maybe? There isn't a false positive - I would be quite certain based on your test above!

Good luck Melcjh. Don't worry about the doctor, they don't do anything really, just register you. You can do it at any time in the first few weeks.

Really you think so shootthemoon? I feel like it cant really be happening, I assumed it needed to be darker as this didnt show up for a minute or so. I will go out and buy a test in a bit and take it tomorrow morning to see :) fingers crossed I get a big dark line! Congratulations Kissing. I got married this year abroad. It was amazing and I loved planning it all.

Mel, don't second guess the test! It is designed to show up a result within 10 minutes, not immediately, and the line indicates the presence of HCG, which can't really be present without pregnancy. Rates of HCG vary but yours is definitely going up as you had a BFNS a few days ago. This is progress!

Invest in a two pack of the ones that say 'pregnant' and take one in the morning. But really, honestly, the above is a BFP :)

I know you're right it just doent feel real, I went to the loo again minutes after my first pee and saved the wee in a pot, I'll go to the chemists at 9 an get a frer I think :)

mel yes first response the sell them in boots or superdrug! I know a couple of ladies on the buses have had false positives on ics so definitely go get a frer. Just hold your pee for a few hours today of fmu tomorrow

I think try again on Sunday. Should be more developed by then I think as HCG is supposed to go up fairly rapidly.

Morning all just thought I would see how the Dec bus is getting on. I'm 4dpo and no symptoms yet. Waiting to see if the inevitable happens and I get booted off the Nov bus.

Congrats Kissing wonderful news of an engagement, enjoy every minute of the planning and it will be a great ttc distraction!

cariad and beautician we are not going to try very hard this cycle either. Not stopping ttc but not giving it too much thought either (easier said than done!).

I think we are going to try not to try so hard this month as well. Not sure if I want to not try at all, but I also want to be able to enjoy the christmas build up mulled wine. The light and tree have gone up in our little town this morning, so I'm feeling a bit festive today. I'm trying soy again, but more to keep my cycle under 30 days than anything else.
