The December 2014 bus is here armed with mulled wine, mince pies, mistletoe and a sack-full of BFPs

This bus is for anyone ttc hoping to get a BFP in December.

I know it's super early, but as I'm currently on a 2 month enforced break from ttc following a ruptured ectopic, December is the next bus I can catch.

Do feel free to come and join me on the journey.

Mel - I completely understand how you feel. Last month af ended up being 2 weeks late and I felt like I was on a roller coaster. From the hope of the late af to the devastating artic sticks (combined with hormones) I was a mess!
Not to give you false hope, but I went to the doctors and he told me that sometimes people don't get positives for 3 weeks - so it is possible.

I hope you get af/bfp soon so you can get out of this limbo. X

Thanks guys its nice to be able to talk, I worry because my cyclea only 24ish days and my period including spotting seems to last 9days so im worried my luteal phase isnt even long enough :( But so far this period i thought it was starting on time but it was thr tiniest spoting no red blood then it stopped, this morning theres a slighy pinky brown cm but only inside tmi sorry, so i dnt know what to think im pretty sure im cluttching at straws :( and I only took one cheap test yesterday morning and my af should have started on sundayish :( ill wait till saturday i think now thanks guys :)

MaMaPo · 20/11/2014 09:15

Hi Mel - glad you found us. I've also been ttc since May so fingers crossed December is our month!

CD12 here and I had a high on CBFM and some ewcm this morning, so it's off to bed in a minute. (I described the ewcm to my husband by saying 'Erm, local conditions are favourable!')

Babies everywhere in my life at the moment! I know at least 8 people expecting at the moment. Very happy for them, but I'd like to join in!

melcjh1990 · 20/11/2014 09:31

Hi Mamapo so nice to know im not alone :) I have to give my partner a list of the days i intend to do the deed and it times are right entice him into extra ones lol. I also know how you feel, I have watched my sisterinlaw get pregnant first time both times and the time was while I was trying :( I am happy for them but there is part of me thats so jealous :( But I do believe everything happens for a reason so fingers crossed this month will turn out well :)

DizzyNorthernBird · 20/11/2014 10:36

Morning all *climbs back onto bus and feels to see if seat is still warm.....

So I had the chat with DP last night, and happy to report we're back on track and on the same page Smile. Fed back to him my research on maternity stuff and, boardroom style, produced a pre maternity/maternity leave preparation plan Wink. That has put his mind at ease, to the point he was ready to start dtd straight away! Until I pointed out AF is next week so he'll have to wait for a little while (for baby making that is). Hurrah.

Do any of you girls monitor your cervix position? I've googled how to do it, and I know it'll take a while to get to know how things feel at different times of the month....but I've been checking mine for a few weeks now and can't seem to find it?! Sorry if tmi! In the past the nurse has had difficulty finding it when doing smears, so I'm wondering if mine is in an odd position Confused

JessieMcJessie · 20/11/2014 10:56

Yay, well done Dizzy for winning the baby pitch! Next stop The Apprentice?

lucieloos · 20/11/2014 10:58

Hi guys just wanted to let you know that I'm going to be taking a step back from the buses this month. I will still pop in from time to time to check on bfps but have decided to not be so active and to have a month where ttc is not the only thing I think about. I will therefore hand my conductor duties over to somebody else. Good luck everyone x

MaMaPo · 20/11/2014 11:01

Best of luck lucie. Definitely understand where you're coming from. Hope you're off the buses for good very soon.

DizzyNorthernBird · 20/11/2014 11:18

Thanks jessie. Yes I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult to do a better job than the morons that are on the current series! I want to throw my dinner at the telly every time that James opens his mouth! Lol.

Shootthemoon · 20/11/2014 13:36

best of luck lucie Cake

welcome mel. I'm having slightly the same symptoms as you - AF was due two days ago (CD25) and I started with pink tinged discharge the day before (CD24). Weirdly, this month I didn't have the odd aches I usually have a week before AF starts so I was a bit surprised by the pink.

And here I am two days later with no sign of AF starting yet. I'm assuming for now that cycle is just a bit longer and I'm having weird early spotting, as we weren't TTC this month and haven't really seen each other much.

For you though there's still a possibility that it was an implantation bleed, so give it a few more days and try again. Unfortunately in the majority of cases with no BFP then it's just late AF, but maybe there's a little glimmer of hope for you :)

kissinggiraffe · 20/11/2014 14:16

So I think in a very unromantic way, OH just asked me to marry him!! I told him to get a ring and ask properly and he's got a dealGrin planning a wedding should be a great way to stop obsessing over ttc...... or not. I can probably obsess over two things at once!

TerrysNo3 · 20/11/2014 14:27

exciting kissing!!!!! Grin Grin Grin

show us the ring when you get it!

melcjh1990 · 20/11/2014 15:06

Hi shootthemoon, its so stressful isnt it! I had a late period similar to this a few months back but every other months been pretty predictable, this time it seems to be talking forever to make up its mind :( The theory im going with is maybe it was old blood with first spotting and my period was going to start but implantation only just happened around when i took the test so it maybe too early.... again pretty sure im clutching at straws lol, why can't this all just be simple :( And congrats kissinggiraffe! X

xBlueberry88x · 20/11/2014 16:27

Hey Ladies,

Thought I may aswell join here as well as November bus as AF due around 1st now as ovulated later than normal.

Sorry theres so many names I know!!

dizzylemon · 20/11/2014 16:34

Hi All,
Stats stated earlier but lost in the ether I suppose! 31 cycle 6 ttc#1 ...um did I leave anything out? :S . Totally new to the buses and trying to keep ttc by approaching the whole thing like some kind of data collection. Am a nerd. Monitoring bbt is right up my street...

Cycles have been somewhat uneven since I came off Yasmin 6 months ago. Thought they'd settled on 33 days until cycle just gone was more like 42 days! Now wondering if I've prematurely jumped on board as if it's that long I may miss the window and am on day 5.

Anyway best of luck to everyone else!

xBlueberry88x · 20/11/2014 16:47

Oh stats are xBlueberry88x 26 TTC 1 Cycle 20 Af due 1st December (2nd cycle clomid)

MissMrsMummy · 20/11/2014 17:54

Evening everyone, just been catching up (crazy week here)

Welcome dizzylemon glad you're a bbt geek! there will be plenty of charts to look at!

How exciting kissing congratulations! A wedding to plan will definitely be a good distraction from TTC!

Welcome mel sorry you're in limbo! I am tempted to say there could still be a chance for your bfp but I was stung by late AF this week and convinced I was pg so I don't want to get your hopes up! Nothing worse.

lucie sorry to see you are having a hard time and hope the break from the bus helps. Do come back and tell us when you get your bfp!

dozy and angela sorry you are still struggling with spotting. Me too.mi had it at 3, 4, 6 and 9dpo! Rubbish! I think 3&4 dpo were ov spotting and 9 was pre-AF but no idea why I had it on 6dpo. But worrying. I had my progesterone checked though and it was fine so I don't know what's causing it, let me know if you get checked out and what the dr says.

Hello and sorry to my friends from the Nov bus Thanks

AF is sooooo bad for me this time. DH taking me shopping to cheer me up and I'm hitting the prosecco tonight!

Anyone up to anything nice this eve?

angelaham · 20/11/2014 20:10

Lucie, be sorry to see you go but totally understand, ttc is so hard going

Kissing congratulations, have a great time planning your wedding,

MissMrsMummy, its so hard this spotting is really getting to me, it might not be affecting our chance of getting pregnant, but just so un sure, i am really scared to go to the doctors, its like admitting there is a problem, i know that sounds so silly, but so scared to what they will find, as soon as i go il let you know what they say

Shootthemoon · 20/11/2014 20:13

Congratulations kissing!

My comment earlier has done its job and I think AF is on its way properly now. That's ok, means we can get started properly next time.

MaGratgarlik1983 · 20/11/2014 20:27

Congrats Kissing how exciting!! Planning a wedding is so much fun!

I'm trying to focus more on Christmas planning now to take my mind of ttc. Had a massive meltdown last night as DH didn't feel in the mood and it's only at the start of my fertile window as well but just felt so sad like another month was passing us by. But all I did was really upset him and me and it's just not worth getting so upset like that all the time. So, no more crazy ttc lady!!

I'm trying to be careful with pinpointing ov this month as want to stop DTD in time to not be in limbo over xmas if I ov late - I usually get a pos on opk sticks quite clearly but I think I have a different brand now (bought so many not sure!) and they don't seem to be as clear...I had was I thought was neg yesterday where the two lines were really similar in colour but then today's was definitely negative, so does that mean that the first one really was pos?? I guess I'll just keep poa-opk for the next week and BDing and see what happens!

spamanderson · 20/11/2014 20:28

Congrats kissing

We were TTC for 9 months for our 2nd, we decided to do a rush job with our wedding and arrange it over just over 2 months. I didn't want to be pregnant when we got married so stopped trying in September (wedding in November), DTD maybe twice over the 2 months and BAM, I found it I was pregnant a week before the wedding! So best way to get pregnant while planning a wedding, decide you don't wanna be pregnant ;)

MaGratgarlik1983 · 20/11/2014 20:28

Sorry for AF Shoot but like you say, onwards into a new cycle and another chance :) And some Wine and chocs!

Shootthemoon · 20/11/2014 20:31

Thanks MaGrat. You're right, but tonight is all about the good painkillers as I'm fully lurgified! Wine tomorrow maybe Smile

MaMaPo · 20/11/2014 20:36

Peak on CBFM this morning, which always feels like a little victory. I can do something right! Better get busy again tonight.

Congrats kissing!

TheTravellingLemon · 20/11/2014 20:39
