This bus is for anyone ttc hoping to get a BFP in December.

I know it's super early, but as I'm currently on a 2 month enforced break from ttc following a ruptured ectopic, December is the next bus I can catch.

Do feel free to come and join me on the journey.

Hi December ladies, I've been quiet since posting on the first page because my cycle ended up being really long (43 days). AF finally came last Sunday. Perfect timing as DH and I are on holiday next week so no worries about a surprise visitor!

Bad news is that DH has a business trip first week of December which looks to be my ovulation week, although given my cycle who knows! But there's nothing we can do about that. Figure this month we'll just have fun and see what happens.

I've started taking evening primrose oil and agnus castus (not sure if I should take it all month or just in the first two weeks) to see if they help with my minimal EWCM and my cycle regularity.

Morning ladies!

Ah, fx for a stronger line tomorrow mel but looks definitely like a positive!

Congrats kissing!! I thoroughly enjoyed planning our wedding in August, it is such an exciting time.

Not much to report here - CD11 and got fourth day of high fertility on CB ov this morning. Last cycle I only had three days of high until I got a peak but I guess cycles can vary... Hmm

RoseBud2015 · 21/11/2014 11:46

Congratulations kissing on the engagement, and mel on the BFP- there's a pink line.... absolutely no doubt about it Grin How many dpo are you?

Well finally AF has decided that I can join this ttc game properly!!! She came in all her glory today after a 58 day cycle Grin.

Soooo excited to get started properly- have told DH to expect to dtd eod as soon as AF goes. His little face was so happy- bless him! I'll wear him out in no time Wink

Please could my staTs be updated:

Can anyone recommend a thermometer I've no idea. Also are there any offers on cb opks anywhere.

Kissing we are going to try still but I'm not going to worry about a few drinkies. It would be fab to get a BFP on Boxing Day. Is there a stats list anywhere?

Dozygirl · 21/11/2014 14:21

Hope everyone's doing ok. Definitely looks like a positive mel. Congratulations.

Looking forward to sharing temping charts with ppl this time. I have no idea if im doing it correctly yet. Do ppl use Fahrenheit or centigrade to chart? I've been using centigrade. My first three temps were virtually the same so I thought I was doing well but now they're looking more like mountains. We shall see what happens when and if I ovulate. I get so oaranoid that I'm not doing it exactly right. Like if I put my alarm on snooze and don't do the temp before my ten minute snooze then will I have squewed the results just in ten minutes?! Drives me crazy!

Dozygirl · 21/11/2014 14:26

beautician I bought baby mad from Amazon. It was about a fiver. Should have 2 decimal points.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 21/11/2014 14:51

Thanks dozygirl Smile

tessiegirl · 21/11/2014 14:57

I also use a Baby Mad thermometer - this is only my second cycle temping too and I am also paranoid whether I am doing it correctly!! Grin

tessiegirl · 21/11/2014 14:58

Oh and Dozygirl I am also using a centigrade thermometer...

mellyjo · 21/11/2014 16:22

Hi sorry name change :)This is my 9th cycle and Im cd30 atm but I really don't know when I ovualte, according to the app I use I am 19dpo but I really dont think its right tbh. I have been out to get my frer and have promised myself I will test tomorrow morning :) Thanks so much everyone, this doesn't feel real, with my weird periods I didn't think there was a chance.

milkandchalk · 21/11/2014 16:24

so... this temperature thing.... I've bought a digital thermometer and over the past few days I've been measuring between 36.9 and 37.1 degrees.
what should I specifically looking for?

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 21/11/2014 16:31

Just enjoying a few cheeky wines at the pub Wine Well there has to be some benefits to af arrival Wink

MissMrsMummy · 21/11/2014 16:48

Hi mel looks like a bfp so let us know how you go in when you retest tomorrow!

milk basically you are looking for a rise in temp which should come 1 day after you ov. If your temp stays up for 3 consecutive days it confirms that you ov'd.

You have to have had a solid night's sleep and take your temp at the same time every day as soon as you wake up I.e. When your alarm goes off, before you snooze or sit up or anything.

My temp is usually 35.something before ov and 36.something after ov

Hope that helps!

MissMrsMummy · 21/11/2014 16:49

Cheers beautician! Wine I'm on the wine too!

victoria401 · 21/11/2014 16:49

Victoria401, 34 ttc #1 cycle 25ish BFP Dec 19th

milkandchalk · 21/11/2014 16:54

ok that makes sense thanks.

Haven't given my stats yet either! 31, ttc 1 don't know cycle yet as just finished bc.

MissMrsMummy · 21/11/2014 17:11

Hi vic glad you are joining us!

clairexxx · 21/11/2014 17:42

Hi all. I'm also joining the December bus. My husband and I are ttc our first so this is all very new to me. We have been trying for 4 months. Last month I was convinced I was pregnant but was just wishful thinking!

Clairexxx, 32, ttc #1, cycle 29ish, bfp Dec 6th

MissMrsMummy · 21/11/2014 19:08

Welcome Claire it's awful isn't it when you think you are finally pg and you're not! Crushing. Just noticed you have been trying 4 months so in your stats your cycle should be which number cycle you are on since you started ttc (so yours should be 4 or 5 I'm guessing) x

clairexxx · 21/11/2014 19:22

Thank you for the welcome MissMrsMoney :) I'm new to all this so thought cycle meant the length! Oops! I'm learning so many things just by joining and it's great to meet so many lovely people x

mistywillow17 · 21/11/2014 19:34

Hurray! Finally pinned DP down yesterday and had my wicked way with him, and looks like it was just in time, as OV pains galore today (don't always get them, but I'm pretty sure that's what they are, and it ties in with other indicators as well.)
Plus it is CD17 today - 17 is my lucky number grasps at straws

Now I just need not to freak out with symptom spotting during the TWW.
And I also need to remember that in the past I have had all the following symptoms, and none of them led to a BFP:
Dry mouth
Achy boobs
Non-achy boobs
Sore throat
Headaches and nausea
Various twinges

Now the waiting starts...

mistywillow17 · 21/11/2014 19:35

Ooooh Kissing! I just read back, congratulations on the engagement!

And Mel that looks like a BFP to me!

RunawayReindeer · 21/11/2014 19:43

Joining the bus!! AF came yesterday but that was cycle 1 after coming off the pill (albeit being on it briefly).

Stats: RunawayReindeer, 26, TTC #3 (greedy), cycle 2, BFP due 20th Dec....

My only slight Blush is ... I don't know when connection 'happens'. Is it at any time after AF finishes?? I tend to go by EWCM but obviously didn't work cycle 1.... We conceived dd2 after 6days!! Xmas Grin happy Christmas...

RunawayReindeer · 21/11/2014 19:45

[blish] thought cycle was how long you'd been trying?? What does cycle mean??

clairexxx · 21/11/2014 19:57

Fingers crossed for you mistywillow17! I'm on cd17 too and about to start the long wait. I'm going to try and keep myself busy!
