I have just had a nutri-grain bar for breakfast....not exactly the saintly start I was looking for but...............

Natty1806 · 12/10/2006 09:55

Oh no Mrs McJnr.

Come on lets all try hard this week.

coggy · 12/10/2006 10:50

Right.......my running record so far:

Nutri-grain bar
Banana

pinkranger · 12/10/2006 10:52

I have Put on 1lb - never mind!!!

So far -

Bowl of fruit and fibre ( skimmed Milk)
brown toast .......

Its not even 11 clock yet

coggy · 12/10/2006 10:53

That sounds okay Pinky.
Also AF is due so you may well be a bit heavier anyway.

Natty1806 · 12/10/2006 11:21

Good day for me

Just a smoothie.

If your af is due pink that is more than likley why and that is a healthy breakfast.

indignatio · 13/10/2006 09:24

Lost 3/4lb this week - if you believe the scales at 5.30am - put on 3/4lb if you believe the scales at 8am - what is that all about ???
AF arrived in the night - so maybe I will be lighter next week

Natty1806 · 13/10/2006 09:39

funny scales. LOL I know what one i would pick. x

Lost 1.5 pounds this week.

10 weeks to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

indignatio · 13/10/2006 09:45

well done Natty

coggy · 13/10/2006 10:07

Excellent Natty....all that hard work is beginning to pay off now.

On my scales I have stayed the same again....very pleased as I have been rubbish for the past three weeks but I am still worried about going back to class next Weds.

Not worried enough tho it seems as I haven't yet started my mega-kick-start diet again.

HELP! I need a serious push and some motivation........

Natty1806 · 13/10/2006 10:54

Thanks guys

Coggy - did you do your shopping order on line with your RC book in mind?

Are you still doing you 10,000 steps a day?

coggy · 13/10/2006 11:09

Urmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...........

Natty1806 · 13/10/2006 11:21

I take it that is a no.

Right then i want you do write you up meals you will be having for the next week - do yourself a mean planner, i know you are a teacher and will know what to do.

Next step as of tomorrow i want you to do at least 5,000 steps and build it up.

Come on coggy you were doing so well don't let the halo fall off just yet.

coggy · 13/10/2006 11:25

LOL..that's just what I need.....a mean meal planner!!!!!

Right....I'm going to do it.
I will wear my pedometer tomorrow.....actually...no...I will go and put it on now.........

Think that's my problem.....getting started on things....once I'm going I'm okay.

Right....pedometer on and meal planning later.
I needed that Natty!

coggy · 13/10/2006 11:29

Right....I'm off to work....and I'm walking.

Natty1806 · 13/10/2006 12:01

Glad it worked sometimes we all need a kick up the bum. LOL

MrsMcJnr · 13/10/2006 14:53

Well done Natty you are scary by the way!!! Coggy - you had such a good plan for the shopping too!

Indignatio - I know which reading I'd go for!

I put 1/2 pound on this week think I'll join Natty boot camp! I did do 20mins of sweating on my cross trainer this morning!

OP posts:
Natty1806 · 13/10/2006 17:59

Sorry about the gain Mrs, yeah join the boot camp. LOL

Think you should aim to do at least 20 minutes every other day or just 10 mins a day.

Today is my naughty day i have had a sausage roll from the butchers for breakfast, a ham and cheese baguette for lunch, a bar of fruit and nut mid afternoon and for dinner take away pizza with rose wine.

But tomorrow i go back to being good just one treat day a week rather than my usual Fri - Sun junk food diet.

x

coggy · 13/10/2006 18:09

Oh yum!!!!!

Yes...my food plan is good and I will do it.
I'm out for a meal tonight with my work friends but I can read my RC book and make a meal planner tomorrow.

I am very pleased with myself as I have done 7,753 steps since you told me to put my pedometer on......not bad eh?!

Thank you!!!!!

Natty1806 · 13/10/2006 18:58

Well done

coggy · 16/10/2006 23:13

Well...it's been a bit quiet here over the past few days hasn't it??!!

Does that mean we've all been good or bad??!!

I walked 8,003 steps yesterday and I'm just off to bed at 11,289 today.....good stuff eh?
Thanks Natty.

The eating plan it 'underway' shall we say!
Off to Tescos (or online if I can't be bothered) on Weds. so my plan needs to be done tomorrow.
I will have such a nasty shock at my class on Weds am that I'm sure I will be a perfect saint after that..........for a while!!!!

Natty1806 · 17/10/2006 08:19

Good girl coggy on steps,

Was not too bad over the weekend, back to being a saint now (well trying)

Don't know what is wrong with my body at this time of the month i seem to get all moody and down in the dumps and feel like it is never going to happen. THink it is to do with the antisipation (?) of ovulation, what day will it happen, will i have bd enough etc etc.

So as of period starting around 10th Dec i am not going to chart at all, count days or look out for signs as it will get me down just before Christmas and we can't have that can we. x

Natty1806 · 18/10/2006 11:03

Good Luck girls for your weigh ins tonight.

MrsMcJnr · 18/10/2006 12:30

Thanks Natty.

I really WANT to lose the weight but I seem to have no motivation or am more interested in other things going on in my life - of which there are probably too many.

I have tried to get addicted to the website for the plan I am following (and spend less time on here) but I just get bored. I looked at my card and I have been back at Scottish Slimmers 10 weeks and am only 3 pounds lighter than when I started. My friend has lost 12 pounds in the same time but she is really focused.

I keep hoping that going to class will focus me again but then I forget and just go back to my bad ways of not counting or writing things down. I am so frustrated with myself.

I know that the food I have been eating has been more healthy. I am really trying hard to eat more fruit, more vegetables and less refined stuff. I have cut out fizzy drinks and caffeine and I am trying with the alcohol and have been better so it is not as if I am eating anything and everything but I can't seem to count calories at the mo! Tonight's class might help! Good luck today Coggy!

Natty1806 · 18/10/2006 13:13

Hopefully tonights class will imspire you.

Write everything down even on bad days, i don't always work out the calories on bad days but always make sure it is written down.

I am goign to focus on getting to goal by Christmas rather than a BFP because at least i know i can get to goal if i work hard whereas the BFP i think lies in the hands of fate. x
