I've been playing it casual this month as I'm only in through TTC nostalgia. We only DTD a couple of times. So even though I have the mother of all metalic tastes and (TMI alert) a tonne of discharge suddenly, it means nothing what-so-ever who am I trying to kid So I guess I'm twotting with everyone. I haven't the faintest when AF is due, I need to read back through the thread and work out when it was I think I iced. Meanwhile, hooya please (although it really IS the mother of all metalic tastes - yuk!)

I need to get it down to a non-diabetic level which is 5-6
They don't think the metformin I'm currently on is enough to do that. When TTC/pregnant, only metformin or insulin are allowed.
Insulin means injections and weight gain
I'm already a few stone overweight so I can't afford that
I'm being careful with my diet to help my blood sugar and try lose weight too.
I also don't want to inject myself several times a day. I know it's a pen thingy but even so
I'm at the diabetic clinic next week so will see then. The GP I see is the diabetes expert.
I've got 2 appointments end October in the antenatal clinic, one for dietician and one for pre-conceptual care
I'm definitely being well looked after. It's still frustrating though. Especially using condoms :-(

Hi ladies. I went to see the gp yesterday. Asked about some of the things the A&E arsehole doctor said. Essentially A&E man told me i should have involved drs sooner, but gp says 4+4 was hardly too late. Lovely GP reassured me about my meds too. Sounds like I'll initially need blood tests every 2 weeks or so until levels stabilise. But won't need the first until 6 weeks.

So i feel reassured that there was nothing i could have done to avoid the mc. Just one of those things.

In other news my ewcm has been completely absent this month. I don't get icing pain so not sure what's happened, but oh well. La, was it evening primrose oil you recommended?

Still shagging anyway and will see what happens. Maybe I'm so super fertile after the mc that i don't need the help of cm. My temp has gone up, that's something.

Calli that cake is amazing! I really want to make a rainbow cake! Might have to do that now. Did you just put a layer of buttercream between each layer?

Purple its great that your blood. sugars are on the way down. I hope you can get a good combination of meds to suit you.
