Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture!

TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

He hasn't aged well though.

lildottie · 12/09/2014 20:41

evening lovely viroids. have had a shite day since waking up at 3.30am trying to decide if I felt sick or hungry. turns out I was sick. a lot. so have been in bed with hot and cold sweats all day. bless dh, he wondered if it could be ms. I suspect its highly more likely that I've caught my brothers bug. have managed to have a bath and dh has changed the bed for me. might try and get downstairs to watch a bit of telly. being in bed is breaking my back!

RPopz · 12/09/2014 20:43

Really!? I thought you were both here before me, don't know why. Old skool Fred Wink

RPopz · 12/09/2014 20:43

Sorry you're not well Lil - stomach bugs are the worst Sad x Thanks

jellypi3 · 12/09/2014 20:44

:( feel better lil and fx for you wiggly!!

honeysucklejasmine · 12/09/2014 21:13

Sorry to hear that lil. Sounds like Mr Lil is doing some top husbanding though. Smile

wilmabedrock · 12/09/2014 21:21

Get better soon Lil. Nothing worse than a sicky bug Thanks .

teejayem · 12/09/2014 21:43

Holy cow, I think I might be about to ice in bonus week! I've got the pant snot!!!!!

honeysucklejasmine · 12/09/2014 22:14

Go tee go!

Small victory today, potentially tmi. Because of my endo, when we first got together we were completely unable to shag. The scaring was wrapped around the base of my vagina, my bowels were adhered to my uterus... Total disaster zone. Excrutiatingly painful attempting to have penetrative sex. Luxkily, I had a laparoscopy scheduled for shortly afterwards and all this was cut away and it all became possible for us, which was great, but only with litres of lube and slow movements. Anyway, victory...today we managed to have sex and use no lube at all! Unheard of! Really pleased! Have n

honeysucklejasmine · 12/09/2014 22:16

Gah, hit post by accident. Had been scared that it would all grow back and we'd be back to square one, so I'm thrilled! Grin as I said, perhaps tmi! Wink

lildottie · 12/09/2014 22:32

congrats honey! we also went through a phase where sex was impossible so I fully understand the excitement! just a thought though, make sure you use sperm friendly lube like preseed or conceive plus.

and yes Mr lil is doing a very good job of husbanding. he's a gem.Grin

teejayem · 12/09/2014 22:32

Amayyziing honey such good news!

I find lube although sometimes a necessary evil, just bloody icky, the more you try and wash it off, the more the frigging stuff stays around, and it gives me no idea if mr tees troops are somehow trapped in it as I'm trying to wipe off.

Mr tee is asleep on the sofa. I am going to let him doze and then jump him....

wilmabedrock · 12/09/2014 22:33

Never TMI on here Honey. That's great news.

ChatEnOeuf · 13/09/2014 06:48

Thanks Honey, Wiggly - the rage has passed, sent a brief 'early days, hope she's ok' message back.

Honey that's great news! Keep the swimmers happy if you do need lube though.

Wiggly keeping my fingers crossed. The wtf cycle is the worst, I'm glad mine is ending.

Hope you're feeling better lil and the night shift went ok Christie, I actually didn't mind nights. So long as there were plenty of snacks and no-one desperately sick... :)

Leela5 · 13/09/2014 07:20

Morning viroids!

Get well soon lil Flowers

tee I hope you donned your cape and glittery disco pants last night!

Can't remember who asked about why using ROC - ics are very tricky to pee onto under line so using ROC to dip instead. Pissy fingers not cool

chat that's early for her to be telling folk! Just nod and smile sweetly x

honey I used to get same thing as lil - sort of psychological vaginismus where i tense and dtd would hurt and bleed. Didn't dtd for a year once. Thankful it went when I came off pill

We are heading home today, been lovely holiday. Miss my cats though need cat cuddle!

Aw honey that is good news!

Morning!

Your opinions needed ladies (and an over share coming up).

So last night I was sat on the white duvet cover putting on my PJs stood up & there was a lovely blood area. Feeling crampy so popped in a tampon & went to bed. Had a really sexy dream about an imaginary French footballer (not Becker or Lovejoy). This and a slightly manky taste have been my only pregnancy symptoms.

Got up this morning removed slightly bloody tampon & thought "on well AFs here then" and had half a wee. Suddenly thought I'd better POAS just in case and got this:

It's incredibly faint. What do you think?

I called DH in who said "yes it's a line" and went back to bed. Maybe it's because of my uncertainty but that was it! Not even a hug!

So if this is a BFP and I'm still bleeding it's exactly what happened with mmc last month.

. Oooooh, I so hope this is a BFP & a sticky bean. Two non-stick beans in a row would be really bad luck. So I'm not overjoyed at the mo, just a bit worried. Hopefully bleeding will stop, line will get darker & bean will stick.

Break the bed, marvel at the ghost sperm, ignore the fuss about avatar pandas and whatever you do - don't eat the jizz! It's Just Shagging Part 28
RPopz · 13/09/2014 08:03

I kinda think poas-ing when you're already bleeding is a recipe for heartache... Could be a chemical pregnancy. Hope that doesn't sound incredibly harsh! I think you're doing the right thing to be cautious though. Fingers crossed its the fabled implantation bleed xxx Thanks

TinkerBlue · 13/09/2014 08:25

It's def a line! fx for u, I have no experience of chem pg to share or advice to offer I'm afraid, here's hoping it's the implantation bleed Flowers

Leela5 · 13/09/2014 08:45

I was bleeding 2 days before bfp - just little bit. But definitely ib.

I've no experience if chemical pg but really hope it's a bfp fx xx

Its definitely a line, a friend of mine who is currently atr 30weeks bleed a little but constantly through her 1st trimester. So long as its only a little it could be OK...

lildottie · 13/09/2014 10:06

Definitely a line, tentative congrats wiggly. the only thing you can do is try to relax. what will be will be. hugs Thanks

well I am feeling a million times better this morning thank god.....just in time for the witch and a morning of wonderful cramps to contend with insteadSad

oh well, hopefully our appointment will land on the door mat in the next couple of weeks. onto cycle 19â?¦ month 23!

honeysucklejasmine · 13/09/2014 14:12

Oh Lil, sorry to hear. Sad

What are peoples opinions on IVF? One of ny friends has been ttc for 2+ years and has got a referal, but really refuses to talk about it. I can't understand why. How would you guys feel if you needed it?

TinkerBlue · 13/09/2014 15:31

Hi honey, I was told about my pcos at about 21, I'm now 33 and have spent many a sleepless night over the years pondering the big ivf question. Each time it's been talked about I've always come to the same conclusion; I don't think it's for me. I just don't feel enough of a need to have a biological link with my children to put my body through ivf when there is the option of adopting or fostering. Dh and I got as far as meeting social workers in june but have decided to give my body another year before we proceed with that. None of these are decisions we've taken lightly and if I'm honest - if the adoption process was easier I wouldn't be ttc now. I hope this gives you an alternative view. Most of the women I know would and have chosen ivf.
lil CakeBrew

honeysucklejasmine · 13/09/2014 16:02

Thank you so much Tink. That's very helpful. I really want to help support her but just can't understand how she feels. So many thanks for the perspective! Thanks

TinkerBlue · 13/09/2014 16:36

No worries, it's so hard being told that ivf is probably what you need. However, I have to point out that every gp and gynae I've ever seen has been effing useless!! I've learnt more about my body and what it's doing in the last month than they've ever told me!! I've always felt time was on my side up until the last year or so so have never rushed for treatment. Now I'm letting my body keep trying the natural way but giving it all the help I can. Hopefully that way I'll never feel like I didn't give myself a proper chance. If the supplements and charting don't help I'd consider trying clomid. The success rates of that are much higher than ivf and apparently I'm a candidate for it which not everyone is! So in the meantime will keep shagging and trying to work out if my goddam ovaries are firing! Lol.

Major drama at Casa tink this afternoon, both kittens are nursing bee stings!! So obvs I'm roasting a chicken for their tea, you don't think I'm spoiling them do you?? I hope they let me and the dog share!!Wink
