I just wrote something but it's not come up?? Can anyone else see it?

Ducky23 · 10/09/2014 20:17

I can see it cupcake Smile really really hope it's your month as soon as you get the go ahead!!

Cupcake92 · 10/09/2014 21:51

Oh good lol! I hope so too Ducky. It's aching me not being pg Thanks
And I'd love for my great nan to see her next great great grand child. As she gets so excited about DS already bless her. She's going to be 90 on Tuesday (day after my birthday) I just pray she gets to see baby number 2.

LuluJakey1 · 10/09/2014 21:54

When will you get the go- ahead Cupcake? Do you have to see someone?

I have had 3 wraps with chicken fajitas tonight- guacamole, sour cream, salsa, grated cheese and lettuce and tomato. It was a yummy tea. Followed by a banana and a double caramel magnum! I was starving by the time I came home from work. I cooked the fajitas and DH did the rest - by which I mean he opened cartons, put stuff in bowls and set the table.

Cupcake92 · 10/09/2014 22:09

It's just when I ovulate lulu.
I presume I'll ovulate soon after I get a bfn. But I'm not gonna test to see when I do. Ill do a pg test in 4 weeks time. To see if I've fallen pg again or not. Until then it's just 4 weeks of dtd! I hope I have a lot of energy lol!!

LuluJakey1 · 10/09/2014 22:32

DH and I are still DTD lots every other day at least. I thought I would go off it or he would but nothing has changed. I expect it will as it goes on.He does ask some stupid questions though that make me laugh - too rude to repeat but very funny. I am sure he just thinks them up to entertain me. If he is serious , it is disturbing how stupid he is Grin

Hope you get a bfp very soon Cupcake.

steph1204 · 11/09/2014 09:32

Hi ladies!
Question of the day: what do you think about washable diapers???

Cupcake92 · 11/09/2014 11:16

Lol lulu that's good u still dtd! :p
And thank u, I hope I get my bfp again soon as well.

Steph, personally, washable nappies are not for me. A friend uses them and when her son has a bad stomach it leaks out everywhere. Plus I couldn't wash them, it'd gross me out lol! I much prefer just whipping the nappy off and chucking away Grin

Cupcake92 · 11/09/2014 12:20

I thought I was feeling a bit better but today I've just gone back to being upset and crying a lot.
I'm so not used to having to deal with this much emotion lol.

Bearsinmotion · 11/09/2014 13:07

I love washable nappies steph - they're pretty and not much more inconvenient than disposables, but they're not for everyone!

I have just been going through my pregnancy risk assessment for work - apparently I need to wear "sensible shoes" :(

Ducky23 · 11/09/2014 13:14

Steph I will just be using disposables Smile

Cupcake, you will find tht happens, it's kind of like waves when it hits you, then it goes calm again.

Bears, risk assessment?! Work must care about you! All I've had is extra duties chucked at me!!! Blush

Me624 · 11/09/2014 14:01

Cupcake sorry you are feeling low today. Thanks

Steph some of my friends have used cloth nappies but when my time comes it will be disposables all the way!

We're civil service so we like our risk assessments Grin. Also gives the organisation legal protection in case anything goes wrong!

Bearsinmotion · 11/09/2014 16:20

And I work in a radiation environment, which probably has an effect!

Cupcake92 · 11/09/2014 17:30

Thanks everyone :)
Feeling a little better this afternoon. Probably because me and DH have planned that when I do a hpt we'll do it together and it'll always be a digital one so we get. a surprise together :) Cheered me up planning it as it's made me excited :)

Cupcake92 · 11/09/2014 17:30

And yes Tori ur right, we are strong women :) Thanks

Ducky23 · 11/09/2014 17:56

That's lovely cupcake Grin

LuluJakey1 · 11/09/2014 21:53

Cupcake your DH is sounding really nice at the moment - in all ways! Grin

My risk assessment at work was a waste of time. Total waste of time. The only suggestion that came from it was that I should try and have a quiet break in my office at lunchtime. FFS! Then I would be thete another hour at the end of the day. Tonight I left at 6.30pm and I was there at 7.30am this morning. No lunchtime, never even got to the loo. 11 hours straight.
I have done another 2 hours since I came home.
DH is really annoyed with me and I know he is right. He said I should be taking more care of me and the baby and making some better choices for a change at work.
I am watching 'Educating the East End' which is a bit of a busman's holiday as it is what I spend my days doing, but I have put my feet up and have had a bowl of porridge and a large glass of iced tea. DH has my feet on his knee and is rubbing my ankles. Bliss Smile

Cupcake92 · 12/09/2014 08:28

Lulu ur DH is right, need to be kind to urself :) relax and put ur feet up more :)

And yes I'm surprised at DH. I'm waiting for that day he cracks lol! Grin

Siarie · 12/09/2014 10:55

Lmao I was worried that I might be feeling too good this morning. Like my symptoms were going, but then I realised im just getting used to them.

Bit into a lion bar and could only manage a mouthful before I felt too full/sick. It's going to feel like a long time until my viability scan on Thursday lol!

Cupcake92 · 12/09/2014 12:49

Another friend who has a DS same age as mine, is pregnant.... :( and she's due only a couple of days before what my baby's due date was. :( I wanna be happy for her hut it kills me to know my baby won't be there when hers comes.
God all this sure does SUCK! :/
I pray and pray I get my bfp again this month

LuluJakey1 · 12/09/2014 18:34

I have another thread in chat at the moment. DH has been offered a job that would be a really big promotion by a Head who he used to work with in West Yorkshire who was a Deputy Head then but has his own school now. It is exactly the kind of school DH likes and his dream job on the Leadership Team. It would be a really big pay rise - approx £14,000- and it would start next Easter.

But I don't want to go! I feel really mean because to just be offered a job like this is incredibly unusual in teaching but the Head really rates DH and wants him to help him turn the school round and make it successful. It is such an opportunity for him.

And we would be near his family.

But what about me and my job? I love my job and do it really well and I am currently at a higher level than DH - although not quite where he would move to.

And this is my home. I love Tyneside and Northumberland and our house.

They have asked him to go down and have a look and an 'interview' but there is only him so if he wants it, it is his. He does want it but he won't push it unless I want to go. He thinks we would have help and support there as well and I can see that.

But I would have to give up my job and effectively my career, and my home.

I feel really stressed by it all. DH says we have to talk it all through but I don't want to because he'll persuade me.

Aaww lulu that's such a hard decision to make :( u need to both think what'll be best for the both if u and the baby. I had an opportunity to move to Essex and do a health and social care year long course then have a job in Basildon hospital after it. I turned it down as DH wouldn't move with me and I regret it a lot as it was a great opportunity for me. But have a big think how u will feel as if the move makes u unhappy then it's not worth it.

Tori, what thread is it? And I know I keep wanting to just rush it all. Everyone in my family is now expecting us to try and become pregnant again so it's like added pressure.
