Just worried about being put to sleep tomorrow. Bit scary. But I hope to get some hospital food I loved it last time I was in lol

Please don't worry about the anaesthetic tomorrow. If you have not had one it feels like a huge gin and tonic on an empty stomach- it just waves over you in an icredibly relaxing feeling and in what feels like seconds you wake up.

I was wishing you good things this morning. Sorry it didn't happen.
How did DH take it?

I'll be kept in for the whole day and let out late afternoon.
Lulu I'm glad it's a nice and relaxed way to drop off! DH has been incredibly supportive tbh. Brought me my fav chocolate to help me.
I'm just scared that's all.

I had the same operation for a different reason a few years ago. There was no pain or discomfort afterwards and I felt very normal. I had a couple of paracetamol that first night and that was it.

I think it will be the emotional side that will be hard to deal with Cupcake - the loss-and that could take a while.

Do you know the time they are doing it? Mine was done about 9.30am and I was back on the ward. and fully awake by 11. I had lunch, insisted on getting dressed and went home about 4.

And I was really scared Cupcake but they were very reassuring and the staff in the theatre were lovely. Afterwards I felt very relaxed, like, I had had a deep, relaxing sleep.

When the lab results came back the next week there was nothing to worry about - I had had some unexplained bleeding and a scan had showed what they thought was a polyp- which it was. But I had previously had two lots of treatment after very abnormal smears a few years earlier so I was really scared.

DH was beside himself. He had the day off work and came to the hospital and sat next to me until I went down to theatre. When I came back he was still there - charming the sister on the ward who let him stay until I went home! I was quite annoyed because I had taken my book to read. They even gave him some lunch.

Thank lulu, I feel a little better about it now. Just want it over.
We have decided to TTC straight away. It's our decision as we do both want another child together.
Just want tomorrow over

Look after yourself afterwards- that is when you'll need the support.

A good nights sleep went out the window. DS is awake n refuses to sleep :(

DS is with DH's mom for the day.

My moms with me all day and tonight till DH is home from work. I go I to theatre at 1:30pm.
It's awful so far :( needles and antibiotics and even having to have a suppository ! Yuck!
Then have to have a anti D injection afterwards. I'm STARVING!!!!!! I need food haha

I'm back from my 16 weeks scan! All the results from the blood test I did during my last appointment were perfect, as the doctor said: This pregnancy begins perfectly! The doctor agreed to tell us the sex if he could see it, but unfortunately, the baby wasn't well positionned, we couldn't see anything (even if we tried very hard!!). DH ans I will have to wait until the next scan (mid-october) to find out... I'm relieved to have see the heartbeat, because I don't have real pregnancy symptoms any more and I was a bit scared, but the doctor told me I should feel the baby in the next 2 or 3 weeks :) Can't wait!!
How was your scan Ducky?

I know what you mean Steph - I have a bump, but the MS has gone now, and no other symptoms !
