Here, we go, nice new thread.
Might be helpful to have some stats so we know where we all are?

I will start, farfallarocks - TTC#2, cycle 11. 1st brooking baby DD, 21 months. Investigations reveal high FSH and potentially starting IVF.

oh geek how worrying. sounds like Mr g is taking good care of you hope the next week flys by. brooking for you.
emms are you ttc? opks can detect hcg levels so it could be positive due to pregnancy if your af is due now.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 02/09/2014 20:27

Oh Geek lovely, brooking like billy-o for you lovely. Could be cos both embies had stuck, and one has come away? Keep those feet up lovely xxx

keepitgoing · 02/09/2014 21:00

oh geek my goodness. bleeding is v common but must be so scary. I'm brooking for you and your little bean like crazy. so pleased all looked good in there. lots of love x

keepitgoing · 02/09/2014 21:01

hang on, if they can see the sac how could it be ectopic?

0798emms · 02/09/2014 21:10

Yes I am ttc have been for 18months due to endo but has an ectopic in may. I did take a pregnancy test but negative :( I am due normally af in a day or 2 max

ControlGeek · 03/09/2014 02:47

keep as I had two put back and they can only see one sac, they don't know that the other one isn't trying to grow elsewhere until they can identify all my bits.

emms very occasionally I would get a +opk just before my period, though hpts showed negative. I think sometimes your hormones just do very un-textbooklike things. I'm sorry about your ectopic, I hope you get a good result soon.

Solars · 03/09/2014 11:15

Geek could be as Maybe said, so sorry to hear about the bleeding but it can be quite common early on but worrying all the same, all appendages crossed for you.

Emms sorry to hear about your ectopic and about ttc for 18 months! Hope you stick around here, lots of lovely people to support you here. Could be still to soon to register on a hpt perhaps if AF not due yet?

farfallarocks · 03/09/2014 11:41

Geek!
Brooking like mad for you. I had 5 days bleeding with mini far, exactly same time as my other macs started and was convinced it was over but betas rising. Here's hoping the embies are just getting snuggly! Can you check your betas? All crossed here for you!

Keep grr at instadiffer Nct lot. Mine are all having problems with number 2. 2 of us heading to ivf, one has had 2 mcs, one is pregnant and the other been trying for a year. Would not wish a Ttc struggle on anyone but does it make it easier T meet ups that I am not the only one struggling!
Ad arrived cd22!! So looks like I did ovulate early and cd9 should have covered it. Anyway appointment next week at argc.

random question, I find chopping veg the most time consuming thing about cooking from scratch. so when I get my carrots, onions etc can I chop them so they are ready and waiting to be used? or will they just be manky in a day? I guess I could freeze chopped onion and sling it in the pan straight from freezer?

ControlGeek · 03/09/2014 17:40

Frozen chopped onion might go a bit slimy unless you keep the pieces quite large. You can chop, blanche and freeze things like carrots thpugh, then just take then out when you need them. I do the same with cheese - grate a massive block, stick it in a sandwich box in the freezer and just take out what I need.

If you are chopping the veg into chunks rather than pretty slices, lakeland do a ring-pull veg chopper. I got one for mrg and it's brilliant. 4 pulls and it's coarse chopped, a few more and it's as fine as you want!

cartoontrickster · 03/09/2014 17:43

sounds brilliant geek thank you. I Never grate cheese I can't stand it. hadn't even thought I could freeze that!

ControlGeek · 04/09/2014 09:25
