Here, we go, nice new thread.
Might be helpful to have some stats so we know where we all are?

I will start, farfallarocks - TTC#2, cycle 11. 1st brooking baby DD, 21 months. Investigations reveal high FSH and potentially starting IVF.

keepitgoing · 24/08/2014 16:25

that just means you're on the first day of your pregnancy Wink. how long have you been TTC?

PistolWhipped · 24/08/2014 18:50

Er...two weeks? Blush

ControlGeek · 25/08/2014 12:26

Imps that display was simply outstanding my lovely!

I just wanted to pop on here to update on my bloods. at 12dpo, by beta hcg measured 90, which was a pretty good reading for that stage in the game. We were looking for a doubling, or at least an increase of 60% to show that this was a viable pg.

Ermmm correct my maths if I'm wrong, but 313 is slightly more than double 90 isn't it? Grin

PS Keep - Sparks and Boo also did a double act on the old witch at the same time. Looks like it took a three-way effort to keep her out of the way so I could get my BFP - thank you!!!

Fox28 · 25/08/2014 15:51

Great news Geek! triplets?!

Welcome Pistol! How old is your baby? How exciting you'll have 2 soon! Smile

musicalmrs · 26/08/2014 07:40

sneaks in

Hello! How is everyone? I've been a bad brooker and haven't posted on the new Fred yet, so thought I'd make amends. In the midst of some insomnia so I'm a bit zombie esque currently..

Was your scan yesterday Pasta? Or is it today? Brooking lots either way :-)

Geek I'm still so amazingly chuffed for you Grin How're you feeling? Hurrah for good hcg levels!

waves at all other brookers

musicalmrs · 26/08/2014 07:41

Ahhh in my exhaustion I seem to have bolded half that last post.. Blush

farfallarocks · 26/08/2014 08:09

geek that is fantastic news!!! So made up for you. When is the first scan?

musical hello my dear, have you hatched yet?

Good luck with the scan pasta, how is the DH job situation?

pistol welcome to the thread!

Just back from a lovely weekend away, yesterday was awful though wasn't it? Never stopped raining!
So girls, what do you think the chances of me being preggers are from one solitary shag on CD9? I had lots of EWCM but no idea when I ovulated as I ditched the pee sticks this month.

What did you do on your afternoon off Keep?

How are you Far?

You ok Imps?

Imps9 · 26/08/2014 11:49

Howdy y'all.

Sorry for radio silence recently - was away on business last week (yes, away on business! #checkmeout #verybusyandimportant) and we flung ourselves across the country this bank holiday weekend so have not had time to properly catch up.

So before I write anything more, I shall have a read of the thread.

Imps9 · 26/08/2014 12:04

Oooh a new Brooker! Welcome Pistol and congrats on being with child, which is obviously what you are on account of having joined this thread. In fact, I got diffed the moment I joined - still waiting to give birth some three years later, mind, but diffed I am.

Musical, Dino, Hinkers (? have I got that right?) - helloooooo loverly to see you. 6 weeks Dino - squeeeee! That is damn well exciting.

Geek yo' is SO having twins, girlfriend. What lovely numbers. And how you're already glowing! Just lovely :)

Maybe how are you? And were you sad to see Jordan leave GBBO? Mixed feelings about that in my office.

Had consultant's appt today and he's given all clear to go ahead with IVF - we've opted for Bourn Hall. Little bit of a waiting list apparently but that's not a prob - we're in no hurry and actually we have a 2 week hol booked in Jan. It seems that Mr Imps' testes didn't develop properly as a child which has caused his OF sperm - he's v relieved that there's no hormonal or genetic thing to cause concern.

Right had better post this before I lose signal (am on train).

NoMaybeAboutIt · 26/08/2014 12:27

Brilliant news Imps!! We were Bourn Hall too!! Though the Colchester clinic. It's amazing, it really is. Great news there's no generic issues too.

I was pleased at the GBBO result.

Imps9 · 26/08/2014 13:57

I remember you saying you were at Bourn Hall Maybe. We had a choice of 5 - BH, 3 in London and 1 in Oxford (although most of the treatment/appts would have been in Cambridge). Figured that BH would be easiest and given that it worked for you, we had no reason not to choose it!

Far I forgot to say earlier - you are well diffed.

farfallarocks · 26/08/2014 14:05

Woo hoo imps great that you have the ball rolling and if there is a waiting list, that is probably for good reason. And it worked for maybe so it will work for you too. Hurrah!

Imps9 · 27/08/2014 14:27

How are you all today my lovelies? Peed in that ramekin yet, Far? Can you see two or three or four bumps yet, Geek? Tooth come through yet, Trix?

farfallarocks · 27/08/2014 15:51

imps funny you should say that I was very tempted today, am only on CD19 though. Plus I feel the familiar PMT cramps starting! I seem to get them for a week now.
Obviously they are implantation cramps.
For shiz

OP posts:
cartoontrickster · 27/08/2014 18:17

Oooo far I want some live pee in a ramekin action!
no imps well its making slow progress I can see a bit more of it today but still not properly broken through the gum.

ControlGeek · 27/08/2014 18:24

Thanks Musical! I think the best description of how I feel is on the whole positive, with temporary panic attacks! But all is good.

far I've booked an early private scan for Tuesday 9th September, when I'll be 6+5. It's potentially too early to see anything but the Spanish consultant seemed very keen that I get one done closer to 6 weeks than 7, and the clinic I'm booked at aren't scanning at all between me being 6+5 and 7+2. I couldn't bear to wait that long Grin Oh, and you are most totally diffed. Fact.

maybe I had to confess to the GP today that it was fifteen sticks. He said 'I'll just put down several, yes?'

Very handsome steed you have there Imps, digging the boots! Yay for getting the go-ahead for IVF, and what brilliant news that they could identify the cause. It must be such a relief for MrI.

My pregnancy is now formally registered with my GP surgery - eeek!! I have my booking in appointment with the midwife on Wednesday 10th September, the day after my private early scan. That is pretty darn early for booking in, but because there really is a genuine risk of OMGIVFTWINZ they want to keep an eye on me and possibly get me an early NHS scan too. My GP is writing to the gynae dept of the local hospital in case they want to add anything to my care at this stage with being an IVF pg. There is a note on my file to say Twunty Need Not Apply Grin

Sorry, I've just forgotten absolutely everything else I've just read Confused

Only other thing to add is that CB digi came up with pg 2-3 weeks this afternoon with a 2 hour hold and almost colourless, dilute afternoon pee. So when do I start believing it?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 27/08/2014 19:38

This is the most exciting news Geek!!! 15 tests ShockGrin how many more will you do......

Great news you're all official. If there is just one mini geek, your care won't be any different. I was 'high risk' and saw consultant at 20 weeks, but was discharged straight away back in MW care. How are you feeling?

Imps, GBBO tonight!! Huzzah!

Definitely implantation Far. Fo' sho'

Is N coping ok Trix? A is struggling.

cartoontrickster · 27/08/2014 20:28

oh dear maybe have you tried those teetha granules? he's ok not much bothers him really but there are times when it does seem to be giving him grief and he gets upset.
geek 15 is impressive and good news on the digi! look forward to scan news, cant wait to find out how many you have on board!

Munxx · 27/08/2014 20:33

Totally stalking for Geek news!

Grin I'm made up for you (as you know!)

Hello to you all! I do read but rarely have a chance to post due to MNing while feeding TeenyMunx. Who isn't really that Teeny anymore Sad

NoMaybeAboutIt · 27/08/2014 20:59

Munxx · 27/08/2014 21:57
