Here, we go, nice new thread.
Might be helpful to have some stats so we know where we all are?

I will start, farfallarocks - TTC#2, cycle 11. 1st brooking baby DD, 21 months. Investigations reveal high FSH and potentially starting IVF.

Honestly, I am driving myself slowly insane here Sad

Imps9 · 10/02/2015 19:35

Would three bickering children in practice be worse than 2 bickering children though? Bickering is bickering; the numbers involved surely don't make much difference...

Plus there's the moments where the three kids are best of friends - that would be pretty lovely wouldn't it?

Sorry, not helping much am I Confused

cartoontrickster · 10/02/2015 20:11

you sound a bit like me trying to decide whether to try for a 2nd dc!
but similarily to imps previous post, I ask would I regret not trying and the answer is yes. so its more a case of when not if now.

Imps9 · 10/02/2015 20:45

Stabbers, can I ask - did you/do you end up with a bruised and polka-dotty tummy? Mine looks pretty minging and that's just the flab

NoMaybeAboutIt · 10/02/2015 21:27

Imps, I looked like is been beaten up. I only have to look at something to bruise, so 6 weeks injections was interesting!!! Hope you're doing ok x

Mol, maybe when there are three of them, they will Seminole entertain each other?

Trix, we have 4 great frosties, so will only need FET. It's around £1500 I think, so not too bad.

Hope you're no longer empty Sparks

NoMaybeAboutIt · 10/02/2015 21:30

Posted too soon!!

Cups, I have indeed left the world of FB. Will you give the lovely Prambino my love? I'm still grinning from ear to ear for you lovely x

Stacks · 11/02/2015 07:39

I didn't really update you all with how we're doing. It's so hard to keep up with threads on here that I'm sure I'll end up dropping off again soon. It's so lovely to drop in though, I'm weirdly proud of you all for still being so positive and supportive for each other.

Thomas is just gone 2 now, and a little star. He's so good at talkingincessantly and seems really intelligent and ahead of the curve. I'm proud of him every day. We are however going through a new patch of separation anxiety. Especially nap and night time, having to sit with him till he goes to sleep - 3 hours for DH last night.
Ella is 7 months and a wee star too. She's such a self content baby, will happily sit and play with a couple of Lego bricks while I deal with her demanding big brother. It's a shame she's still not sleeping through the night, usually up every 2 hours. Everyone says it's all my fault for co-sleeping. Some nights I'm ready to jack it in and try sticking her in her cot. I always give up after just a few minutes. She's my last baby, and doesn't understand why I'm suddenly trying to abandon her to a cold lonely cot. She's super cute in bed with me too, so I think I'll continue as we are and enjoy my snuggles as long as I can.

Hugs and good luck to you all.

Pastamancer · 11/02/2015 17:05

I had some twinges last night and have been having a good sort out of things today so taking this is a good sign. 37 weeks tomorrow and I am really hungry

Imps9 · 11/02/2015 20:30

Ohhhh Stacks it's so lovely to hear about you and your little ones! Separation anxiety sounds tough - is it a phase thing? Don't blame you for prolonging baby snuggles, esp if you're not planning a third yet.

Pasta oooooooooh squeeeeeee twinges! And nesting!! It's only a matter of time now!

Maybe how did you keep your protein levels up? I've invested in a lot of quark (no idea what quark tastes like, but it's high in protein) and stuff like that - did you drink protein drinks?

Stimming starts tomorrow, looking forward to seeing what happens next.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 11/02/2015 20:52

Exciting times Pasta!!!

Stacks, we co sleep too. A wakes every hour at least more like every 20 minutes at the moment so it allows me to keep my sanity who am I kidding

Imps, I ate loads of eggs, chicken, turkey and a few steaks. No protein drinks. Also drank loads of water too. You have exciting times ahead lovely Smile

BeedlesPineNeedles · 12/02/2015 11:30

imps I didn't rellay have to do very many injections as I have a nasal spray for the buserelin, so I think I only did about 11 injections total for each round. luckily I can't imaging that you're showing off your tummy in a bikini too much now you're back from your holiday! Is it the first injection tonight, are you on Menopur or something else?

pasta any more twinges?

maybe I hope no-one had been being mean to you FB. Do we need to coem round and sort someone out?

I spoke to teh clinic this am and I start stimming on wednesday next week. I realised the other night that I had been a little too calm and relaxed about this cycle with MrB, he hadn't even realised that I had started downreggingShock He knows EC is planned for roughly 3 weeks time and he has been in teh bathroom when I have spayed teh drugs up my nose, and he saw teh huge carrier bag of drugs I picked up a few weeks ago. So I don't know what he was thinking! He has known since November that it was planned for the first week in March

Pastamancer · 12/02/2015 11:48

Beedles I hope the sniffer dog they gave you this time round is properly housetrained although if Mr B didn't realise then it probably is.

I now have an image of Imps striding into work in just a bikini

No twinges but I had awful stomach ache last night so didn't get much sleep. It felt just like a normal stomach ache so don't think it was anything meaningful :( I'm 37 weeks today and have a midwife appointment tonight so fingers crossed the miserable cow she will be happy with things. She is against me having a home birth despite my previous midwife and the consultant both being absolutely fine with it.

Imps9 · 12/02/2015 13:23

Why is she against you having a home birth Pasta? I thought they were supposed to be encouraging HBSD (home-based sprog dropping) wherever possible these days? Sorry that the twinges don't be amounting to much - I will do my special Twinge Dance for you.

Beedle, me in a bikini is a terrible site, stab wounds or no stap wounds. I actually have a tankini at the mo (which still looks horrific) so in theory I could wear this to work and no one would be any the wiser about my wounded belly.

I think I'm on Gonal-F for stimming - will do my first injection at 7.20 tonight. I MUST remember to keep the needle in for 10s after injecting and I MUST remember to keep my finger on the plunger bit before taking it out and I MUST remember to reduce by Suprecur to 0.2. I have an awful feeling I'm going to forgot one or more of those.

Beedle love that DH didn't know you were DR! I had to give OH an IVF lesson yesterday - although he went to the seminar he didn't really have a clue how it all works. He does now though thanks to Prof Imps.

Pastamancer · 12/02/2015 15:35

She wants me to go to the maternity hospital, I think it is because she doesn't work there and if I had a home birth or went to the MLU then she would have to get off her arse and do something if it was her shift. I don't think she realises I'm a Brooker

hinkyhonk · 12/02/2015 15:54

Anyone up for some spurious symptom spotting?

So in the tww, period due on 20th and my boobs are tender, right more than left. Erm what else... I'm rather tired but that is prob due to the rat bags being ill and treating me like a slave me looking after them lovingly.

What else should I be looking for? I've forgotten Blush

hinkyhonk · 12/02/2015 15:56

pasta is she the only mw in your area? Can you transfer to someone else? I wouldn't want a grumpy arse like her looking after me

Pastamancer · 12/02/2015 16:09

Sounds promising Hinky

She is the midwife that covers my Dr surgery. The midwife I had with DD was really lovely but I haven't seen her this time as she is on long term sick. I had a temp midwife for most of the pregnancy who was also lovely and keen on home birth but I have now got Mrs Grumpy as she has been assigned to my area. Today will be my 36 week appointment so I'm hoping that I won't have to see her much longer anyway. Fingers crossed she isn't on call when I do go into labour

cartoontrickster · 12/02/2015 17:05

pasta fingers crossed you get nice midwife when the time comes.
hinky you are clearly up the duff and really should be resting.
imps ( my auto correct always calls you umps) good luck tonight, you will remember.
brooking babies let the mummies sleep! N is not sleeping well either
sounds like your doing great stacks

hinkyhonk · 12/02/2015 17:11

Phew tricks good job I've been resting on the sofa for most of the day with two poorly boys. But dear god please can we brook that at least one of them is better tomorrow as I work from home on Fridays and I've got loads on eek...

Pastamancer · 12/02/2015 17:24

Someone take the food away, I've just eaten a whole pack of cream crackers Blush

Pastamancer · 12/02/2015 20:32

Nothing is ever simple, been referred for a scan as it seems to be breech

Imps9 · 12/02/2015 22:12

Oh no Pasta

Will eating more cream crackers help?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 12/02/2015 23:01

Oh Pasta. They may well be wrong. Brooking that they are, or that orzo (smallest pasta I can think of) turns

Mol, diffed, fo' shizzle

Beedle, some people are just dicks on FB. Plus I figured I should dust the needles off again and get knitting!! What's MrB like?! You just need to spell it out, don't you!!!

Didn't know you were a co-sleeper Sparks!

Imps, you won't forget, I promise.
