Still have the bike and tennis ball though Hmm

gennibugs · 04/08/2014 14:09

treacle you have my sympathies. I had recurrent thrush for about a year - ended up seeing a specialist as it just wouldn't frick off. It's horrible. Deffo get DH slapping that cream on and he can also take the tablet too. Avoid baths if you can too.

kitty and april I think I'm in similar position to you both. I'm 33 and we are going to go for tests in September as that will be cycle 10 for me if no luck in August. I know they say wait a year and that some might say 10 months is nothing but I just need peace of mind. and if there is an issue - well id rather know now.If I have to, I'll tell a little lie. technically we've been trying over a year because we didn't use contraception for a while before "properly" trying anyway. I'm also thinking of paying as my GP is just hopeless!

Treaclepie19 · 04/08/2014 14:09

Thanks kitty, definitely not passing it back and forth as no dtd with the pain I've been in. I am making sure he uses the cream too.
Just hope it goes away!!!

Sad the dragon is gone :(

xBlueberry88x · 04/08/2014 14:13

Oh my god ive been checking in on the bus and not even realizing it was full and wondering where everyone was lol (blonde).

Treacle Sorry your still suffering how annoying.

MaMa Glad you get another go at this bus.

Seems like theres a few symptoms for a few people fx they all turn out to be BFPS.

Had my last (hopefully) day 21 test today hoping the doc will be happy with my bodies attempt at ovulation.

7dpo today fuzzy eyed migraine today and lotsa creamy cm for the last 2 days.

SurreyBunny · 04/08/2014 14:16

Hello! Thanks lucie for chasing me up....MaMaPo no need to feel lonely - I'll be joining you. AF came yesterday...this is when I find temping so valuable as I could see my temps falling so I knew she was on her way. Still felt a twat for seeing imaginary lines on tests and uploading to site so I could invert, writing my BFP post here for you all in my head etc etc - I had such great symptoms Sad

I fibbed to the Dr about how long we had been trying, my bloods were fine but DH's sperm test was awful (normal forms 0%!!) but it does say that the sample was tested over an hour from when it was produced. I have no idea why as we raced it there and they had half an hour to test it. He's switched to loose boxers and is now sleeping in the spare room as DD keeps coming into our bed. Figured out when we conceived last time he had been off work for 6 months, was tanned and well rested so maybe he has always had an issue and we were lucky or maybe it is a one off. Getting tested again next week. Once that is done we can get referred.

In the meantime I am trying SI again (days 2 - 6) and am currently bidding on an CBFM. Also ordered Maca for both of us to take. Onwards and upwards eh....really didn't think I'd see cycle 8.

Congrats to Brixton and I hope the rest of you get your BFP's! I might squeeze on at the back, it depends if Soy brings my ovulation forwards.

cinnamongreyhound · 04/08/2014 14:21

Sorry to hear the thrush is back, wine and white carbs don't help at all :( is the diabetes something you're recently worried about or just one of those we should check just in case things?

Marking my spot so I can keep an eye on you :)

gennibugs · 04/08/2014 14:39

Oh also - not sure if you already knew this but thrush and diabetes are often related! I was tested multiple times during my thrush hell!

KittyVonCatsington · 04/08/2014 14:44

April, genni, Surrey I so hope we don't have to go down the assisted route this Autumn, but if we have to, it will be nice to have the company on that particular journey. I hope SI works for us Surrey but so sorry about DH's results.

Willing your thrush to bugger off Treacle

Cheering on Blue's ovaries Grin

TMI alert Blush Forgot to use a panty liner this morning-hate it when you get that jizz 'dribble'!

spinningirl10 · 04/08/2014 15:04

Kitty, thAnks for link on soy tablets. I've just bought some from holland and Barrett....£25 though!!!! They were in the penny sale so I got another pot. I'm expecting great things for that price. How many do you take?

Treacle, sorry to hear about the thrush. Dp and I passed it between us for some time. I had it on holiday and had to tell a very young handsome Italian pharmacist what was wrong!

xBlueberry88x · 04/08/2014 15:08

hahahah jizz dribble (why isnt there a sick face).

oh I forgot to add massive hurting boobs to my symptoms (im ignoring the fact I had this last month to)

KittyVonCatsington · 04/08/2014 15:11

What mg size tablets did you buy spinning?

spinningirl10 · 04/08/2014 15:17

750mg kitty

KittyVonCatsington · 04/08/2014 15:30

Oh, okay. Firstly, can you cancel and get a refund? It's because we shouldn't go over 200mg a day when TTC - the 750mg is for the menopause Smile
If you can't, I've just asked my DH and he says cut each tablet into quarters and take one quarter a day for 5 days. Up to you which CD you start on. Good Luck!

spinningirl10 · 04/08/2014 15:48

Ah ok, oops! Think I'll get a refund and get 200mg somewhere else. Could be tricky trying to cut them upGrin

cinnamongreyhound · 04/08/2014 15:54

Sorry to hear about dh Surreybunny, hope the next test gives you a better result!

KittyVonCatsington · 04/08/2014 16:14

spinning If you are near a Tesco, they do own brand 40mg ones that loads of people use. I'm not so I ordered these
Looking at averages and being a bit gung ho, I went for doses:
CD2 100mg, CD3 150mg, CD4 150mg, CD5 200mg CD6 200mg all taken just before bed.

ChandlersFarang · 04/08/2014 16:43

Kitty, genni, April... Just a word from the wise, the assisted route is really not so bad if you do end up there!! I'm feeling like i'm 'doing something' about all of the things that aren't quite right. Feel like I'm on more of an equal playing field with everyone else on the bus now Smile Fx for you all that you get good medical advice/care if that's what happens. And of course say 12 months!! I'd say 13 actually just to really hammer it home WinkWink

I got tested for diabetes last week because of my ear infection - appaz they are also linked to it. I was terrified as I already have PCOS, which puts me at a 50% increased risk of developing it before I'm 40, but luckily my blood sugar was really healthy. I have stopped eating all sugar and refined/white carbs since my diagnosis tho, so am really glad my blood came up trumps for me!!

And I hear ya on the jizz dribble!! Last weekend was DTD central over ov days and we were going out for my birthday meal to a really nice restaurant. I didn't want VPL so went commando only to have a JD which managed to get beyond the hem of my dress!!!!!!!!!!! ShockShockShockShockShockShockShock thankfully the denizens of Bangkok have seen WAY worse. Or didn't notice. I was mortified. ConfusedGrin

xBlueberry88x · 04/08/2014 16:46

ahahahaha Chandlers thats so wrong lol.

I forgot to answer your question the other day about pcos, my actual doc thought it might be why I wasnt ovulating but ive had various scans and hsg and nothing is showing I have it so far.

I still stand by my feeling that the depo messed me up!!

CoffeeOne · 04/08/2014 17:06

laughing so much at the jizz dribble Grin

gennibugs · 04/08/2014 17:52

jizz dribble. mwahaha. potential contender for inclusion in the title of the next bus?? Grin Grin

lp2014 · 04/08/2014 18:29

Hello! The bus is back!

Sorry to hear af started grand! Xx

MrsExtraOrdinary · 04/08/2014 18:52

Can I just ask oh wise passengers...what is a good length for a luteal phase? Does it actually matter? As in does it mean your egg is slightly worse quality or anything remotely like that? Just pondering on my crazy cycles and thinking I'm now 12-14dpo as opposed to 18dpo.

Treaclepie19 · 04/08/2014 19:00

10-16 days is best MrsE.

MrsBeeBeeBee · 04/08/2014 19:10

Jizz dribble? Barf! Haha.

Sunshinesaz86 · 04/08/2014 19:41

Blue I think the depo has alot to answer for, it took me 6 months for my periods to come back when I stopped it a few years ago! And the nurse told be she'd dealt with someone where it took 32 months for her periods to come back!!!! They should really warn ppl of the side effects. Especially ppl who are intending to start a family at some stage!

Ps love that name jizz drizzle so perfect for the unfortunate position to found in!

Is it wrong I got slightly annoyed that I got that yesterday and text my DP in the gym saying I'd lost his spermies lol! (Sad I know)
